Whats the hype about Sonic. Ive eaten at Sonic three times. I shouldve learned the first time. This place is GROSS! At this location, I had the chicken fingers with fries and country gravy. They were nasty.

Just ordered a Sonic Blast and about halfway through it I found a moth that had clearly been dead for a long time. Absolutely disgusting.

Great service! And unlike a lot of other sonics, there is space to eat inside. I am in a wheelchair and the location is accessible.

This place has always been a little hit or miss for me, maybe I’m expecting too much. The drive through line always seems a little on the slow side and food sometimes is piping hot and obviously just cooked or really obviously not cooked for a while. Still, it’s a good location and it’s got all the usual Sonic fare and when it’s good, it’s really good. It’s never been bad, just not great.

5 stars for fast, attentive service and consistency. The staff here reminds me of Culver’s. They are always very friendly and professional. It’s obvious they care about their jobs and the food they serve. A step and a half above other fast food restaurants and even some restaurants with a full-time wait staff.

Staff is always friendly, prompt, outgoing and the food is always hot and fresh when it arrives at your car. They keep the grounds very neat and well organized. Managemant does come out and greet the customers while they wait for their food.

Compared to the closest Sonic to me(in Hutto) and a few other locations in and around Round Rock/Austin, I gotta give props to this place for 3 things and I can only hope the others will one day follow suit: 1) Coherent drive-thru attendants that actually enunciate instead of mumble into the speaker… I never knew I could leave a place without my brain hurting from trying to decipher/translate the garbled jibber-jabber that seems to be an actual dialect at most drive-thrus and/or repeating my order so many times I go temporarily cross-eyed. 2) There is an actual dedicated drive thru lane w/an actual window for pick up… ingenious! 3) They not only know what«light ice» means, but actually honor my request for it… so instead of wasting my breath 3 – 4 times ordering a Lrg Diet Dr P w/light ice only to receive a cup that is ¾ ice and 4 sips worth of soft drink, I actually get a drinkable amount of non-watered down beverage, which is refreshingly refreshing! So kudos, my new found friends at the Anderson/Burnet Sonic… keep up the good work!

There are no park and dine spots here. This place is just like any other fast food place and does not have any of the normal Sonic characteristics. The service was pretty fast but then again we did only get drinks. I have noticed there aren’t many of these guys in Austin so when you see one you should definitely stop in for one of their specialty drinks!

Love the drinks. Cherry lime slush tastes like liquid candy — and lasts for hours.

Amazing food and fast service! Try the fried cheesecake bites with the tangy strawberry sauce, definitely a winner! Found out there is a happy hour from 2−4pm! Great deals

Be advised that although this is indeed a Sonic(America’s Drive-in) and does indeed serve all the food and drink items you would expect from such a place, it is not, in fact, a drive-in. This location was apparently remodeled from some other fast food joint, and thus, is a traditional sit down restaurant with a single lane drive through. The food might taste the same, but damn if it’s not nearly as fun. And there is absolutely no chance of being served your food by someone wearing roller skates, so there’s that, too.

I LOVE potato tots!!! Minus one star for no dipping sauce for my popcorn chicken(even though ranch sauce was mentioned twice) Minus one star since they didn’t rollerblade out with my order :( But then, add back one start because there’s a guy walking around offering us napkins, ketchup, and etc.

Dear Sonic, Thank you for the 2 to 4 p.m. happy hour. Admittedly, there is no wine or beer on your menu but I am just as delighted with your ice tea. I think it’s official – I’m a Sonic tea addict. And your ice – how do you make that chewy ice? I’m craving some right now. As luck would have it, my watch shows it is 2:15 p.m. Ah… where are my car keys… With all my love, Christine A.

I am not even sure if this is the right one, and I’m not sure if I even care to look for the one we went to. The fact is it is Sonic, it is a fast food chain, and it all probably taste the same. So stop hating! For years we have been seeing Sonic commercials in the Seattle area. For years, we haven’t even had a Sonic in Seattle. What up with that? Are they trying to prepare us for the coming of Sonic? Is Sonic going to save our souls or something? Oddly enough, Sonic is the one place we all wanted to go to. We were sure that it wasn’t going to be great or anything, we just wanted a taste to go with those commercials. Also, it was kind of cool to come back to Seattle and say we’ve actually been to a Sonic. It was kind of cool to order in the parking lot but the food was just ok. I wouldn’t say no to going to Sonic if it finally comes to Seattle, but I am not dying to eat there anymore. Zipzap Zubidy Bop!

Aw, come on. A girl’s allowed to have a few fast food favs! The Route 44 Diet Limeade(or strawberry LA or cherry LA) is my ongoing crush since the mid 90’s. How can you not love ‘em? They have funny commercials and wacky snacks. I swear they have fried macaroni and cheese bites there now. Wacky. But their cheese sticks? Delish! I ate here after my first marathon. And got the cheese sticks b/c gosh, I deserved them! My current favorite light lunch is the grilled chix wrap sans the sauce. You don’t need the ranch dressing, it’s pretty good as are the breakfast wraps. Ok, enough about Sonic. But i do love thee!
