We moved into a new home and the bedroom had floor to ceiling windows facing the setting sun. Our bedroom would get 15 degrees hotter every afternoon.
Jared came in and we decided on one huge «blackout blind». This was a HUGE project, and I had my doubts, but they came out and had it installed within the afternoon once the large special order blind had arrived (just a couple of weeks later).
We are SO pleased with it. With a touch of a button, it’s easily up, down or anywhere in between. We love the way it looks on the outside and the very low clearance to the house. Simply fantastic work.
Jared and Matt have been so wonderful throughout the process and have come at a moment’s notice when the wet cold changed it and was having trouble getting over the swollen wood of the house. They quickly fixed it and it’s worked perfectly ever since. (so quiet!)

I went looking for a retractable shade for my patio, spanning 22 feet was not an easy feat for anyone, I called four places, two called back and only Shading Texas could cover that span. Having no other real choice I put a lot of faith in them and it worked out perfect. The shade is great, I face due west and when down you can still be outside in the dead of sunset. Jared was great to deal with, no hassle and no pressure, he was just a friendly guy selling me a shade. He even helped with the install.
All in all great experience.

My husband and I love our new motorized sun screen shade. We can now enjoy our patio for the upcoming summer, and also this winter. Jared and his team were great from the initial free consultation to the day of the installation!!! Very professional, and took their time installing the shade. You even receive a military discount, which we loved and appreciated a lot!!! We’re planning on installing a privacy screen for our garage next year, so we definitely going to call Jared!!!
