Service King Collision Repair of South Austin

Had a great experience getting my car fixed after a motorcycle rear ended me. The repairs were relatively quick. They had my car done slightly sooner than expected, and returned it in better condition than it was, even before the accident. In addition to fixing damage from the accident, they managed to buff out a bit of scraping from a run in with a narrow garage, so my car looks almost brand new. And it is so clean and smells amazing inside! Big deal since we have three dogs, and rarely does the car wash do a good enough job. I’m also expecting a baby soon, and now have one less thing to take care of before her arrival.

Excellent, professional and courteous service performed in a timely manner. Great communication throughout the process. Kudos to Kevin for all his assistance. And to get my vehicle back shining clean without the first dog lick was a plus. Hopefully I will never need their services again, but if I do I will definitely be back. I highly recommend them.

I took my scion tc here to get body work done on the rear bumper. They failed to match the paint correctly and now my rear bumper shines purple in the sun compared to the dark blue body of the car. I also had body work done on a separate occasion in which they scraped part of the window tint off when they removed it to paint the car and did not fix it before returning my car to me. The bottom rocker moulding was also improperly reinstalled after then repair. I asked them to fix it and they did not honor my request. not to mention the hole that was present in the door near the handle. They must have torn it off when they removed the door handle to repaint the door. They also over charged me by $ 300 for a rental car that should have been covered under the repairs requested by my insurance. Stay far away from here. Your car is better off being repaired someplace better.

So, this is a place that my husband like to take our cars to. It used to be a B&B Body and paint that is now a Service King. When it was still B&B, we rarely had an issue. Now as a Service King, we are seeing little issues popping up.
I have to say that their customer service is great! It’s just aggravating to have work done that’s not completed properly.
So, one of the issues was getting my headlights replaced after an accident, it’s is not a bit crooked. It’s not noticeable unless you shine the light on a wall, like when I’m parking in my driveway at night. It’s just not even! This was 3 repairs ago and everytime, we ask them to look at it, it still isn’t fixed.
My most recent visit here was to have them fix an issue with some clamps under my car. When we picked up the car, we saw something hanging off the bottom, they took it in the back and made us wait almost an hour. This is AFTER they told us that our car was done and we can come pick it up.
It made a weird sound driving on the highway so I was back here to get it corrected. And it was the SAME ISSUE THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO HAVE FIXED. Sigh.
Like I said, their customer service is great but their work isn’t as good. We’ll most likely be back, they just know our cars and they do get the work completed, even if we have to tell them multiple times about it.
So, if you take your car here, if you have time, make sure to check everything before you leave.

These guys are freaking amazing. Went here because it’s an Esurance Estar facility and I’m so freaking glad I did! Kevin was awesome and called every other day with updates and took pictures to keep me updated with the progress. The car was in the shop the amount of time they promised and everyone was super professional and friendly. I don’t have enough nice things to say about these guys… BUT, and this could be a coincidence but my iPhone FM transmitter with adapter has gone missing. They do tell you to take everything out before, so this could be my fault (they might have accidentally thrown it away or something), but the damn thing was only 6 bucks and the adapter was kinda cheap too, so I’m not losing any sleep over it. I’m not gonna let that stop me from referring them and Esurance to everyone I know.

This place was awesome, from the first estimate to picking up my car.
I was rear-​ended and the other driver’s insurance sent me here for repairs. They were quick with the estimate, and very good about dealing with the insurance to get everything arranged.
At my estimate appointment, I met my service liaison, Chris. He was really great about showing me, and explaining in detail, what was wrong with the car, and would need to be repaired. He told me about how long it would take, and I felt really confident in his knowledge.
When I dropped the car off a few days later (insurance dragged its feet, not SK’s issue) They were really nice and got me in and out in a reasonable amount of time. Also, there is an Enterprise on site, so I didn’t have any hassle with substitute transportation.
Whilst my car was there, I received regular email updates (very cute and friendly, from my car’s perspective) about the progress of the repairs. And then, they finished my car much earlier than originally anticipated and were quick to let me know.
I was able to drop off the rental car, pick up m beautifully repaired one, and sign the paperwork in less than 10 minutes.
The final bill (which will be paid by the other guy’s insurance) seemed very low for the amount of work they did. I think they provide excellent work with excellent value.
Overall, an excellent experience and I will definitely be using them for any future repair needs.

Had a problem with my ’07 Trailblazer over heating and was from out of town. These guys took a look at it and replaced the fan clutch because it wasn’t spinning as a result of a car accident I had earlier (who would have known).
Jennifer (?) and Roy was very nice/​personable throughout the fix. Had to fork up $ 630 for three hours of work and parts but it seemed on the low end from what I researched on the internet. Got the car back three days later (over the weekend). Also they gave a nice detail on the car complimentary. Would go back again! Thank you guys.

Poor Workmanship, Even Worse Customer Service
This B&B Body /​Service King facility did a good job for me twice before, so I felt comfortable taking my black 2012 Infiniti G37 to them when someone backed into my left rear quarter panel. They fixed the dent (simple), but left multiple flaws in the finish. Their tarps damaged this finish too, but it was hard to notice this as the entire car was covered with white overspray (primer they called it) and given back to me dirty (filthy really). After three trips back, slow or not returned phone calls, I’m almost whole. They didn’t get the overspray off the hood, but I will take it somewhere else. They broke all four backup sonar sensors on my rear bumper (exposed to moisture the dealer said), but Service King was content to stick Geico with over $ 1,000 in additional charges for this, even though the damage their insured caused was not on the rear bumper at all. This outfit seems hell-​bent on growing no matter what — quality and customer service be damned. Don’t believe the commercials and take your car somewhere else unless you can be satisfied with this kind of experience.
