We went here for lunch and had a wonderful time! The waiter Luigi is the best waiter we have had in a long long time. He was polite, friendly, courteous… The food was delicious and we got it very fast. I almost forgot the rosemary bread is fantastic. We will definitely be coming back.

Ordered a simple Caesar salad with chicken and the chicken came raw in the middle. I sent it back because that would have made me sick and literally two minutes later they came back with the same salad and they had microwaved the chicken. I’m not ok with food poisoning. I didn’t eat lunch. No manager came out to apologize.

My buddy and I dined at Macaroni Grill last night. We both were commenting on what a great meal and service we received. John was our server. He was attentive and never let my glass of tea go empty. And I promise you that’s hard to do because I usually consume 4 – 5 glasses at dinner. The food was fantastic too. I had my favorite Chicken Scallopini. Yummy Even the manager Jessica came by to make sure we were well taken care of… I look forward to returning… I wish I could say that about more restaurants. You exceeded my expectations! Bravo!

In the mood for something different this round, and a $ 25 gift card burning a hole in our pocket… Been a very long time since we have been here… Long before I became a Unilocaler… Back when we were just robots following the«trend» and eating at places that advertised on TV… Service was sub-par, zero hustle in our waiters step… After our water was served and he took our order, as he passed by again, I had to ask if they still have the free bread and oil… After he brought that… another table who had been sitting awhile as well asked the same thing… As for food, all around pretty good… The Loaded fries was the best dish on the table… Über layers of flavors. Salty, rich, crunchy, tart… simply DeLish… We would come back just for that… Mac and cheese bits were good, creamy mac with crunchy coating… and the dipping sauce, since I have NO idea what truffle actually taste like… We have always have heard that too much can over power, the sauce was really good… I rolled with the Chicken Scaloppine, although extremely good. I personally felt it was a very small portion for the $$ coming in $ 15, and considering my Wife went with the Mama Trio for $ 2 more, was enough food to feed an Army. Down side to my wifes was the bottom layer of the lasagna was crunchy and her alfredo was dry… and compared to the same dish we seen on deck to be served as we were walking out, hers didnt look near as fresh… We do our fair share of Italian cooking at home as well… Been making my own sauce for years, along with pasta so 2 stars is the best I can give them… Ummm Loaded Fries 5++ Stars… Yes…That good!

Saturday lunch, We gave it one more chance. We will not be back. 3 servers on the floor, dirty tables, manager clueless. 20 minutes and still waiting for food. Other tables in after us got there food. Our food took 26 minutes, ck parm and two meatballs. Thank god for heat lamps. My bet is this place closed in the next 280 days.

I don’t normally bother reviewing chains but, having eaten both here and at a local ‘artisanal pasta’ restaurant recently the comparison made me think. Macaroni grill isn’t innovative. And it isn’t fancy. But the servers are always, always full of all-American-charm, they make a delicious spaghetti and meatballs, I love their warm bread and olive oil and the fact they run an honesty system and let you pour your own house wine is inordinately civilised. Also they give me crayons. And I’m 30. I love crayons. No they don’t have anything new or exotic on the menu — but they don’t bollocks things up either. And when two of us can scratch our Friday night pasta itch with wine and service and coffee for less than $ 50… Like a Hilton, or flying American — you know exactly what you’re going to get. And sometimes that’s exactly what I want.

Was just here for a free brunch for Other Worlds Austin badge holders before we head into another full day of scifi films. Nice open space with really friendly servers. I havent had the brunch here before, but for our party of ~45 we had scrambled eggs, bacon,(pork?)sausage and chicken parmesan eggs benedict. The eggs bene were not runny(though that’s my preference) and the parm was nice and crunchy, my fav part of the meal. The rest was pretty standard fare. Drinks were mimosas, bloody marys and OJ(latter was my choice, guessing it was from frozen concentrate, as there was a large frozen part in my glass). Overall, it was a fun brunch with great people and staff really took care of us. Free food, drink and vouchers for our next visit? Yes I will be back.

We go for lunch, so take that into consideration. The wait was short, we get in right away most times, the service is good. We go with friends and can hear each other most of the time. The food is pretty good and the price is moderate. Pretty good place to go.

My husband and I decided to eat here for lunch. Our server was Sarah she was very nice and recommend items which my husband and I truly enjoyed! If i could rate her by herself i would give 5 stars but the staff as a whole did not deserve this same rating. I watch three tables just sit themselves because the greeter was off talking and this overwhelmed our side and our poor server but she accepted the tables and also managed all of us very well! But the restroom is where I decided we may not come back. There was no soap or paper towels and I would like to know that this is available for all the staff to properly wash their hands before returning to work! Also, the restroom was not exactly the cleanest at the moment I walked in. Luckily I carry hand wipes in my purse and didn’t have to go!

Well… It’s fine. And that’s faint praise. Edible and okay but the house wine is weak/a little sour and the food is fairly bland. The staff is trying but the wait times and customer service is weak. Don’t expect too much but it’s «fine.»

Not impressed at all! My over all wait time was outrageous! When I walked in the atomosphere was pretty nice, the host sat us quickly and was friendly. Then our waitress Bianca came out. She was friendly but extremely slow and for 1:30pm it wasn’t that busy so I expected more. Unfortunately I was not offered wine because I love wine but then saw another waiter bring out a sample to another customer(giving it to them without even carding him). We got our bread and couldn’t even eat it because of how hard it was. Then our food came and it was mediocre at best. Long wait time for check and to go box. I was hoping to have a nice lunch with my dad but I guess not today. I would not recommend anyone going.

Waitress was not very informative and wasn’t very familiar with the menu. The side salad was a small portion(smallest side salad I’ve ever seen) for $ 4.50 but it was good. I ordered the Macaroni n Cheese and my pasta tasted old(it seems like it was cooked before hand and heated up when ordered) and not to mention, it was also under cooked… I sent it back and got a complimentary vanilla gelato, which tasted a little freezer burned. When I received the second Mac n cheese it was basically the same thing… Two other parties were complaining about the food too, so they’re doing something wrong. I will never come here again!

I can’t believe I’m about to say these words. I really enjoyed my food here the last 2 times we have been! For anyone who knows me, I have stayed clear of chain restaurants in the 4.5 years I have lived in USA. There comes a time when you need reliable, comfortable and kid friendly. This MG does well. The kids enjoy scribbling away on the paper covered tables. Adults enjoyed decent house wine and very decent prices. I have had the vodka sauce and the arrabiata. Both good. Sometimes a good bowl of simple pasta is wonderful and I will go back again when the desire for non rich and extravagant pasta takes hold of me. The fresh grated parmesan also warrants recognition. I love that they are willing to take a long minute shaving a decent heap onto my plate :)

The new 9 minute dinner menu is a great idea, especially the concept that it would be free if the meal didn’t come out during that time. My husband received his pasta and an appetizer just at the 9 minute mark. My meal and the 2nd appetizer came out about 3 minutes later. The hostess who seated us and took our order made it seem like she would get in trouble if we said anything about the meal not coming out within the 9 minute time frame. We did enjoy the food, however.

This restaurant has gone completely downhill. The food was awful. We ordered several different dishes and they were all bad including the appetizers. The sole fish was the only decent plate.

We went there on Thursday night at 8 pm and ordered the pork shank and the lasagna that we shared. The pork shank was absolutely delicious and the lasagna was cooked too perfection, moist and juicy. Excellent service from Ro too. Not sure why this place doesn’t get more stars.

Recommendations: La Madeline is right next door. It’s generally better and more consistent. === Food: Having been here a year before and not being particularly happy, I went with the safest possible thing I could get. Noodles, basic sauce, some mushrooms. HOW can you screw that up? They found a way. Service: slow, frequently missing in action

The last time we came here it was on a whim and we found ourselves pleasantly surprised with our meal. This time we came on purpose having a Brinker gift card burning a hole in our pocket, and also because it’s conveniently located near Trader Joe’s which was my next stop. Since I enjoyed it so much the last time I again ordered the eggplant parmesan. I don’t know if there was a different kitchen manager on duty but it was not the same. You know how you can taste the difference between something that was breaded immediately before cooking, and something that was breaded then frozen for later? No? Just me? The eggplant was cut thicker this time and the breadcrumbs were dry and flavorless. They left off the fresh basil and the angel hair with marinara on the side tasted like it came straight from a pasta roni box. What happened here within the past few weeks?! My husband also said his dish wasn’t near as good as last time. We still were only 1 of about 5 occupied tables there so I know it wasn’t a matter of being swamped. Maybe we hit it on a good night or something but I think next time we get a craving for Brinker Italian we will stick with Maggianos. The only reason they get 3 stars from me and not 2 is because they are very generous when pouring their house wine. I felt like my $ 5.50 glass was more like 2 glasses and who doesn’t like more bang for their buck?

Bring your wallet… Pricey… Seriously, we walked in on a Monday night, and there were all of 4 or 5 tables occupied in the whole place at 6:00PM. Our server was nice, and actually pretty helpful. The problem that I have with this place is the price for what you get in return. For $ 13, you can get one piece of chicken parmesan and a side of spaghetti. You want a salad with that? Another $ 3. Seriously, for $ 13, a salad should be included. I didn’t see a thing on the menu for less than $ 11 – 12, and that was simple pasta and sauce. Of course, you could probably get an appetizer for $ 8, but that’s about it. Food was good, but it should have been for the price. Probably will not be back any time soon.
