Reliant Pools

Thought I’d give them a shot based on reviews and recommendations, but after about one and half months, I’ve had one sales guy disappear on me and the owner come in after warning me about his past employee. Followed by a month long wait for a quote, met with nothing. Perhaps too busy, but a simple «I’m sorry I’m too busy to help you,» would suffice vs stringing people along.

We had a great experience with Reliant. While we almost went with a large builder, talking to Joel convinced us we would get a better quality product with RP and we did. It means a lot to know your project is being supervised by someone that owns the outcome through all phases and cares deeply about the result. Reliant was on site many times all day to supervise and sometimes by 6:30 in the morning. They answered every concern in a timely fashion and I am confident we will continue to work with them in the future. We have already recommended them to several friends and will continue to do so.

We had such a great experience working with Joel and EJ of Reliant Pools. Our pool is gorgeous and exceeded our exceptions!
During the bidding and design process EJ listened to us and made sure we understood the differences in the choices we were making to ensure we would have an pool we’d love at the end of the project.
The detail work done by the all the workers is like art and was amazing to watch. The onsite guys cleaned up after themselves everyday and never left our yard or pool shell looking like a junkyard. Any day we had workers onsite Joel would come in the beginning of the day to make sure everyone know what needed to be done, and at the end to check the progress and make sure no issues were found.
If we ever move and need another pool built we would definitely use Reliant Pools again. I think that speak volumes to our experience.

We just finished working with Joel at Reliant and had an awesome experience. You get a level of service and quality that is far better than what you would get with some of the bigger pool companies in the Austin area. Joel did an amazing job desiging our pool & spa, and was there with us every step of the way, from permitting to pool school. I highly recommend Reliant if you are looking for a pool in the Austin or Cedar Park area.

I had such an amazing experience with Reliant Pools. Everything we completed perfectly in a very timely fashion. I was kept updated along the way and never had to worry about a thing! Joel was my main POC though out the process. He couldn’t be better at his job. Would drop anything at any time to resolve an issue. My pool is gorgeous and I would recommend Reliant Pools to ANYONE!

David Akins and Reliant Pools did a fantastic job on our pool build. David did a great job on the design and proposal. He listened to what we wanted and made recommendations based on his experience, but was not pushy. He always told us the «why» for various choices. We talked to 3 builders and David’s design nailed it. I was also pleased that David was on-​time (15 min early) for every meeting.
When David started construction, everything was scheduled out from demolition to finish. We hit a few delays due to weather and that caused some tasks to get juggled, but there was never any significant downtime.
The demolition, excavation, framing and rebar happened one task after another. His crew was very professional and worked full-​time right thru. David had plumbing done right after. Gunite was shot just 2 weeks after David started work.
The mason crew that did all the tile, coping, the decking, and patio grill was exceptional. I am very pleased with the brick work. The lines are precise and the new brick work blends seamlessly with the existing house. I especially like how they matched the style of the brickwork to the existing house with soldier courses, and corner details they did without even asking. About the only issue that came up was rain delays pushed the mason crew so they had stop work for the KoolCote decking to finish. As soon as the decks were done, the mason returned and finished out the bbq.
We had a small wait for the plaster company, just because they were booked out several weeks, but again, very pleased with the final result.
The job was completed on schedule, even with rain delays. Everything started up in working order, no leaks!
Overall I am very pleased with Reliant Pools and David Akins. I highly recommend them for you pool build!

The designers at Reliant Pools are first rate. If you are looking to buy a custom pool in Texas I highly recommend giving them a call. They built us a gorgeous pool.
