Fresh ingredients and I haven’t eaten or ordered Pizza Hut for 5 years since I found Papa Murphy’s. Great food, great value!

I am a big fan of Papa Murphy’s, this is the second one I’ve tried, the other being in Seguin Texas. I keep coming back because of price and quality, the customer service was excellent as well and I felt I got plenty of attention and was welcomed warmly by the staff. They got my pizza ready for me while I did some shopping at HEB next door, every time I go I get nice fresh veggies and the pizza is always wrapped well so it doesn’t make a mess in my car on the way home. My favorite pizza is the Gourmet Vegetarian which it topped with spinach, zucchini, mushrooms, artichoke hearts, roma tomatoes, onions, cheese and creamy garlic sauce. It’s tastes so fresh and the artichoke hearts burst with flavor in your mouth. They also have great salads at Papa Murphy’s too along with some yummy cookie dough. You can print coupons from their website to save money and view the menu there too, if you choose wisely you can feed a large group here for little cash, such as if you have children this is a good buy especially if you want a somewhat healthy alternative to other fast food pizza places. It’s right next to HEB& Blockbuster so you can buy groceries and rent a movie to take care of shopping and entertainment all in one go.

I thought the pizza was just as good as a california pizza kitchen, but 60% off, somedays even more. Greatest deal on pizza one can get as far as taste to price ratio! Amazing, really.

friendly service. fresh ingredients. veggie de-lite was seriously light. you could eat a couple slices and not feel disgustingly stuffed as i tend to get when it comes to pizza. it was a little on the bland side, imo. yes, i know it’s a veggie pizza. and no, i got red sauce instead of their standard creamy garlic. that might be why? but i didn’t even taste red sauce. it was more like eating veggies on an unsalted, buttered cracker.

I don’t understand this place… it had a little sign that read«Take & Bake» and I thought, if I am going to do that, I will just make one from scratch myself or just get a frozen one… but oh, hell no, I caved in a tried this place… but I still don’t get it… the pizza was boring, bleh… I would rather make some Shake & Bake… so Take that and Bake that!

Why did I go here? I was hungry and curious. I guess that’s why I do most anything. The place has a real Subway kind of feel. From the look of the assembly line of toppings to the smell. The people working there are nice enough but that doesn’t change the fact that the pizza isn’t good. I think that you’d be better off going to HEB and getting a frozen pie for half the cost.

Good pizza for a national chain and consistent taste with what i ate at their store in Plano. Sooooo much better than Pizza Hut. There are obviously many great pizza places here in Austin, so I can’t really rate it higher than 3 stars. Also it doesn’t taste so great cold the next morning like some pizza. The pizza seems heavy on the salt at times too. But it’s very fast and the toppings can be seen on the line as your pizza is assembled. The veggies are very fresh. You are in and out in maybe 5 minutes. Bonus for the recession — they take the Lone Star Card!

I must thank my sister for introducing me to this place. Picture this if you will. Ready? Every state, city, and town has at least one burger joint, and a pizza joint.(maybe even a taco joint) If i were a business man and wanted to start up a food joint, pizza would not be on my mind. The whole world is overburdened with pizza places. So either you better be from Brooklyn with your pizza or think of something off the wall. well Papa Murphy did that! Instead of a new topping or some twist taste in the sauce, Papa Murphy decided to run the place like a Subway chain line to build your pizza, and then, give it to you for you to cook yourself. The concept is great, but would fail if the pizza sucked. But its on point. The pizza is good! They need to make a commercial, that goes like: ” honey is the pizza delivery?” «no.» “oh its DiGiornos huh?” «nah uh… nope.» «then? “baby…its PAPAMURPHYS!»

We love Papa Murphy’s. It’s really close to our house, so it’s easy to stop in on the way home for some pizza and cookie dough(or cheese sticks, or cinnamon bread). The place is very clean and they make the pizza right in front of you.(Think Subway, but no Jared Fogle.) You can sure tell the difference between a pizza that comes straight out of the oven and one that has taken a 10-minute ride in a Ford Escort. Seriously, people. It’s cheap, too – about 7 bucks for a large pizza with toppings. The cookie dough comes in a little tub and is delicious. It never makes it into the oven. Just grab a spoon and pass it around. The cheese sticks and cinnamon sticks are equally amazing. Mmmm. BTW – the first time I went here, I was kinda curious, like the other reviewer. My son and I walked in and the manager told us about their concept and offered us a free pizza. We took it(duh!) and he said to tell our friends and come back if we liked it. Needless to say, we’ve been back. Many times. Tip: Coupons abound for this place, and they have a punch card that will earn you a free pizza.

I was stopping in at Chris’s Liquor and as I was about to enter, a man standing just outside of the adjacent store asked me if was hungry. I said yes a little and asked him«whats he got», he said come on in we’ve just opened this new store. I wasn’t hungry, just curious and being friendly. So in I went and looked at their menu and I could even see them making pizza’s for other customers and I noted how fresh and yummy the vegetables were looking and they were«mounding» them up and making a really good looking thick ass pizza, yes it began to then increase my appetite to a ravenous level. So I told the guy that I’d stop in later and check them out. They closed at 9 P.M. so I came back around 8. We chose the Murphy’s combination minus the pepperoni and added on Green Bell Pepper. Took it back to my girlfriends house and the whole time we both were carrying on about the size/thickness of the pizza and how the vegetables looked as though they were just picked straight from a garden. After eating a total of 4 pieces we were stuffed, God was it good, with the huge amount of high quality ingredients I am a bit confused on how they can afford to stay in business, $ 12.00 for a huge top rate pizza. Blows my wee little brain so far and clear away. They don’t have the cardboard boxes to cart them out with but they do have a «paper plate» that the pizza rests upon for its journey home to an awaiting oven, they use saran wrap to cover it up, I suggest placing the pizza in a safe strategic location in your car far enough away from your reach so that you won’t be tempted to «sample«it on the way home. Yes it was that good. They also have an awesome looking Calzone and a Lasagna, and gourmet pizza’s as well.
