Our go-to fast food place near home. They are trying, but have gotten our order wrong quite a few times. When we complain(more recently) they make it up to us, but I rather they get the order right the first time so I don’t have to spend my time with fixing it(and maybe even going back from home to store to get the correct food). Customer service has improved since they opened. Initially there were incidences after which I avoided them for a while, like when they gave me a not fully closed Ojuice(lid) that then spilled all over my car console without as much as an apology when I told them what happened, and I had to pay for car cleaning to get the sticky juice out of my console. Or they dropped the coin change right on top of some Dollar notes in my hand, which of course slid off before I could possibly close my hand over it. WIth cars behind me I could not back out or move forward to get the change. And I had little kids in the car. No super big deal for the money, but again the attitude about it bothered me more than the loss of the change. On the upside their food is good(when the order is correct and complete) and recently management seems to have trained employees better to be a bit more responsible. A decent convenient fast-food alternative. No gluten-free buns availalbe yet?

I love all P Terry’s, but this location needs a lot of work. Can’t buy or use gift cards at this location. Had to go to Ben White location. It takes forever & the burgers are so greasy it soaks into the lettuce. I was so excited when I realized how close it was to my house, but now will just keep going to Ben White location.

Went there last week and staff member Steven(hope I got the name right) went above and beyond with his guest service. He came running out to give us our ordered bacon that was left out of our to go order. Thanks for a great dinner, burgers and fries are always yummy and the lemonade is sooo good.

This was my first time here and I have to say that this won’t be the last. The wife and I ordered a Double Cheeseburger and Carmel Shakes this time around and they were amazing. The burger was juicy and the cheese melted into the bun and sauce. The burger was an appropriate size(not too big not too small) and filling. The Camrel Shake was something to behold. Thick vanilla flavor with carmel sauce drizzling on the sides of the cup. Fantastic!

This is for P. Terry’s on Oltorf. I like this place it because even though the meat is «100% all-natural»(yes, yes, I know natural does not equal organic), their burgers are not outrageously priced & you don’t have to wait an hour to eat(I’m looking at you, Hopdoddy). That being said, I’m not a fan of the fries — while I appreciate that they look like fries you would make at home, they lean toward being soggy/limp and yet overcooked/brown at the same time. If you’re craving a milkshake, I recommend sticking to the vanilla unless you like your shakes super sweet. I ordered the strawberry shake once. No mas. Craving a good ol’ burger & fries w/out the guilt that often follows a McDonald’s drive through trip? This is the place for you, my friend.

Consistently good and price is on point. The veggie burger patty could improve, but it’s still solid. Fries are bomb and don’t forget to get a cookie they warm them up for you and it’s not to sweet.

Okay i really dont understand how you could give pterrys less than a 5 star review. The people at the oltorf location are always so sweet and its honestly the best one in austin. You can get a burger for about 2.85? What is better than that. And if you havent tried their egg burgers with the OJ. youre just missing out on life.

First time trying P. Terrys. Overall it was a good experience. The customer service was really great. You get a large amount of fries. Not soggy but also not greasy or crispy. The burger isn’t that big but it goes with their prices. You get a decent meal for around $ 7. This location is open till 3am on the weekends.

I come here quite often! Service is always great however today when I went the fries I received were so hard I was unable to enjoy them; every single fry was over fried and not pterrys standards at all. Very disappointed :(will still come back but frustrated after a much anticipated burger run.

Their veggie burgers are my favorite in Austin! Their milkshakes are also delicious & such a treat. Can’t go wrong with P Terry’s. So glad they added this convenient location.

I’m giving it 5 stars because I always find this location(or P. Terry’s in general) as pretty reliable when I need my quick, cheap burger & fries fix). They meet expectations of the persona they’ve created. There are fancier burgers with more depth of flavor around(Luke’s Inside Out is my favorite burger, Wholly Cow is awesome too). But it’s next to impossible to beat P. Terry’s quality for an inexpensive fast food fix. For perspective, I think In & Out is yet another over-hyped chain. You shouldn’t like the fries, they go against everything you think of traditional fast food fries — they’re not that crunchy and still have some skin on them. But there’s something SOINCREDIBLYADDICTING about the fries that they have become some of my favorites. Must be the high quality potatoes and the fresh oil that they use. The burger always tastes fresh and you can tell they use quality ingredients and vegetables, though I would like a little less lettuce, but that’s an easy 2 finger fix. The lemonade is solid, and the milkshakes are great too. Get them to mix chocolate and caramel — thank me later. One minor thing — please get rid of your stock of antiquated ketchup packets. Life is too short to be opening up 3 tiny packets, when one of those plastic dipping ones will do. :)

It’s a good choice compared to other burger places. The couple of times I have gone service has been great. It can be a hit or miss. Meaning the food can be either on point or not. Overall to me it’s just another burger place. Not my go to place for a burger.

Just went to this location to order a veggie burger and a peppermint shake. The peppermint shake was appropriately minty and had just the right level of thickness that I always hope for from PT. The burger, however, was given without a veggie pattie, and so I had to drive back after discovering this at home. The burger was replaced after waiting in line for way-too-long once again. P. Terry’s should have a system in place to mend mistakes in orders without having to sit in line all over again, though I realize the difficulty in implementing such a thing. UPDATE: Received a couple gift cards in the mail after the incident described above. This is such an excellent customer service response, that I have decided to boost the score of this P. Terry’s by two stars. I am very impressed. Great job, guys!

Great food and they’re open until 1am on the weekend! The driveway is confusing, though. It’s set up similar to a Short Stop with pickup windows on opposite sides of the building.

Went here last night and received the best service. P Terry’s is always delicious and doesn’t make you feel bad after eating, like many other burger places. They have delicious homemade tasting cookies. And to top it off they give the dogs treats!

I still remember you Super Burrito when you were there. But the sign of the times came and it’s time to move on to P. Terry’s. In a way, I’m glad a P. Terry’s opened close to where I live. It’s a better quality burgers and fries you don’t get from other fast food places. If I wanted burger and fries but can’t be bothered paying sit down restaurant places, P. Terry’s is where I go. They kept the similar format of two drive thru windows. Not much sitting room.

The latest P. Terry’s location on E. Oltorf Street brings another late-night burger stand to the area. Primarily meant as a drive thru, there are only a few tables for eating onsite. Burgers and fries are cheap yet offer a level of quality not found in most fast food burger restaurants. Be careful exiting directly onto Oltorf, especially if you’re trying to head eastward. It’s probably easier to go over to Parker Lane and use the traffic light at the intersection.

So glad there’s one of these near me. The right price for fast food that isn’t absolutely horrible for you. Not that it’s good for you but the quality is better than that of McDonald’s, Burger King, or Wendy’s and a lot cheaper than whataburger(though whataburger is generally better). The fries aren’t that great, though. Pretty potato-y and limp. No crunch whatsoever to them. Not a fan. But the cheeseburger is pretty great. Chicken burger isn’t bad either. This place is perfect for the price and quality. I’ll definitely go here if I’m in a rush for food but I won’t be stopping by weekly.
