P Terry’s is so dank it’s unreal. They go hard in the paint at this particular location. Throw some jalapenos on that sh*t and you’re in business. Double is recommended. Dank milkshakes and fries too. You can tell they’re serious because they have a double drive-thru line. You want a warm cookie? Fahgettaboutit. THEYHAVEWARMCOOKIES!

UPDATE: Super impressed. I left the review below with 3 stars but I have to change it. After posting the below review someone from PTerry’s management actually reached out to me with a sincere apology, told me about the frozen vegan burgers they sell at Whole Foods, and sent me $ 7 so I could try those out for free. Woah. Super blown away. Just got the $ 7 check in the mail today. Way to go PTerrys. Can’t wait to try those vegan burgers. I really hate leaving bad reviews but I just can’t overlook this one. My husband and I are vegan and recently moved to Austin. We heard good things about Pterry’s and decided to go and see if their veggie burger was vegan. I asked the employee if it was and he enthusiastically said yes. So we’ve been eating the veggie burger without cheese for about 5 months, to discover today, by another employee that the veggie burger is in no way vegan. It contains cream, egg, and cheese in the burger. Super bummed. They offered me a refund, and I’m glad they told me, hence the 3 stars instead of 1. But I guess I learned my lesson… It was too good to be true.

I’m really surprised I haven’t written a review before now as I eat here often! Great if you’re in a rush, the line moves quickly. All the employees seem happy, friendly, and helpful. I love that this location doesn’t have a lobby so you’re in and out — no foot traffic. Burgers, shakes, it’s all delicious and everything tastes fresh. Give it a shot!

First timer. We went through the drive thru. We got the chicken burger with pickles and a root beer and cheese burger with pickles and onions and lemonade, both with fries. The burger was better than the chicken burger. The fries were ok. I think this place was overly hyped but it is a good second option when HopDoddy’s or Shake Shack is closed.

Good for a late night stop, I probably wouldn’t have dinner here. This location has no seating.

Look, the food at P. Terry’s is amazing when you get it right. I’ve been to this location in particular many times because it is a normal route to my job. I have had a couple of occasions where my meals have been messed up. Let me tell you, if you become a regular, and they mess up your food more than once, don’t expect cooperation. The first time I had an issue I was told they would mail me a gift card… I waited a couple of weeks and finally texted back to let them know I haven’t received it. When they replied they confirmed my address, that they got incorrect. I even went back to make sure I wasn’t at fault. They told me they would reship. I never received them so I texted again… they finally said I could just get them from the store so I did. I went back several times after and they accidentally messed up my order. So I texted the number and I guess they still had my number because they texted back and addressed me by name. When I explained the situation I never got a response. I tried to follow up multiple times but I never received a response back. I finally emailed corporate and also haven’t received a reply from them either. The food is great, the customer service and wait time, especially at Ben white location is really bad.

Great food and prices. Def better than in n out, but going through their drive through is the most annoying shit ever!

Definitely a delicious food joint that’s better than a lot of other fast food choices for burgers. I had the cheeseburger and fries. Boy I love the fries! I definitely recommend it. The cheese burger is way better than your typical McDonalds or Wendys options. Next time I wish to venture further into the menu. Maybe a milkshake? Or double patty burger?

Why, oh, Lordy, why, out of two burgers, one meat one veggie, would you put the sticker on the burger??? I know it’s my fault for not reading the sticker well enough but in a storm in low light it’s hard to see and I assumed — like any human being in America — that the sticker would say VEG. Aargh. The burgers were going to two different places ten minutes apart. Bah. If you’re going to put dumb stickers on the wrong things, at least tell the customer!

Flawless. This place has everything that makes fast food places popular: cheap, consistent, fast and reliable, with one thing extra: quality. All natural meat and delicious fresh ingredients. I mean, I never thought I would eat at a fast food place weekly, but that’s practically what I do with P. Terry’s! I’m in love with their veggie and chicken burgers«as they come».

Decent burger and fry. I’ll come back maybe 3 times a year not to Ben white location tho. Ben white stinks like hipster trash. I’ll go by William cannon whole foods for a clean and hipster free burger experience.

I LOVE P Terry’s. LOVE the Burgers and the thick crispy bacon and the shakes… so this review is about the location, NOT the food. I do not like how slow this location is. Each time I go, I can spend anywhere from 15 – 27 minutes in line. As many people that are in there, I feel like something is off about the time in which it takes to complete an order. Still love their food, just picking a different location from now on.

Went to P. Terry’s a second time in 7 days! DELICIOUSNESS! I had the pumpkin spice shake, double cheeseburger and fries at lunch! You guys get it right ! It was very busy and the staff was friendly and effective in moving people in and out the drive thru. Will return next week for another meal deal!!!

It seems like this P. Terry’s has gone through some sort of retraining. We finally went back tonight and the burgers were DELICIOUS. We both thought they were the best we’d ever had from them. The carhop was super sweet, the line moved quickly, and our order was 100% accurate. The only disappointment was that I didn’t order more. :)

Good food, good service. While they have some pretty good burgers, but I’m all about their breakfast. Egg burger with sauasage ZZAAAMM! They even pepper the eggs. Oh, and the potato squares are quite plentiful! Order one and split it. They only«negative» thing I have to say about this location specifically is the location. It’s so hard to exit this place when you’re headed east. Not to mention, the line sometimes peaks out towards the access road. Can’t wait for the Oltorf location to open!

Yum yum yum. Their double meat cheeseburger is not overwhelming like most places. It’s a good size. The flavor is always on point. The fries are delecious and oh yeah THECOOKIES!!! One of my favorite cookies in town. The staff is usually happy not like most drive throughs. The prices here are on point. Not over priced like you would expect for them having quality product and gold customer experiences. The veggie burger is pretty good as well. I am an again and again customer. Thank you P Terry’s.

I’m such a big fan of P Terrys. They’ve got the best non fancy fro-froo burgers(if you know what I mean) They’ve messed up on my order a few times. I text the number on the bag with my comments and they always get back to me and correct the problem. I like that. I understand stuff happens and they have delicious, fresh, hot food that keeps me coming back. This location is open late night but the line gets long. It goes out onto the access road! I’ve been there plenty times after a long night of fun lol. It’s worth the wait.

Sunday evening 6pm My girlfriend and I drive up, order two veggie burger combos with extra cheese. One with onions and one with pickles. NBD We get home and our burgers are undercooked and guess what? No extra cheese. No pickles. Now big deal. I don’t write reviews but P. Terry’s slogan, «Never been better» REALLY? «Always getting worse» is more like it.(At this location)

I like that P Terry’s puts thought into where they source their ingredients. I love their veggie burgers and fresh-squeezed lemonade. It’s one of the few fast food joints in the area that offers a veggie burger. They load their burgers with lettuce and tomatoes. I love veggies, but normally have to take some of the lettuce off. I always ask for pickles and onions, which cost a little bit extra. I’ve never been a fan of their french fries. I find them far too greasy and bland. They do serve HUGE portions of fries though.

I came to this specific location a couple times when I used to live near by. P Terry’s is a nice little burger joint. That being said, I see it as a poor man’s In and Out. However, their veggie burger is surprisingly really good and their fries are decent too. You also could get a lot worse for you fast food elsewhere. So if you’re looking for fast food, this ain’t bad in terms of price and quality. Plus, there are more and more of them popping up all over Austin so there should be one very near by whatever part of town you live.

MMM. drive through burger. I have to say that when I’m craving a burger, P. Terry’s hits the spot. Burger is always consistently good. Fries, ehh. I still get them but I hate the crispy peels. I guess there are people that like them. Also, there’s a sign that tells you if they only have 1 lane open or two. People! Please take notice. It’ll help you get in and out quickly. Good burger joint. Drive through only. I have no complaints. They have a carb free option

P terry’s is one of the best burgers in town … of course in my opinion. I personally think it is tough to beat a Whataburger double meat cheese burger but P Terry’s gets pretty close. The ingredients here are fresh. I love that at this particular location they have huge windows that look directly into the kitchen and I can see my burger being made. I can see then also cutting up the veggies and taking the whole potato and putting them into the fry cutting machine. It some how gives me a sense of peace and satisfaction being able to see the process … nothing to hide here. The burger itself is so good and cheesy. It is juicy and simply delicious. The fries here are a little different than most places, but I am definitely a fan. They taste like they are fried in a good oil or something. I like that they have the skins too. Oh and if you haven’t tried their fresh squeezed lemonade you are missing out! Get it with your meal! FYI — on Friday and Saturday nights this location is open super late … like 3 am.

Very, VERY similar to In-N-Out, but… with better fries. MUCH better fries. I only order burgers to be polite in mixed company — better fries wins every time, yo! Ding ding ding… this round goes to P. Terry’s! The veggie burger rocked(Anti-Animal Style, lol) and cookies were deelish… I’m a fan.

This is a comparison to In-N-Out Burger, which I’m pretty sure P Terry’s is modeled after. Better burger: P Terry’s Better fries: P Terry’s Better service: Tie, both great Quicker service: P Terry’s Menu variety: In-N-Out(only because of secret menu) Cost: Tie Proximity to my house, work, other places I go, etc: P Terry’s in a landslide Synopsis: P Terry’s and In-N-Out Burger are both really good burger stands and I have a difficult time understanding why would anybody ever go to McD’s or BK or Jack in the B or Wendy’s when you can pay a small amount more and eat food that’s 10x better at P Terry’s or IOB. I love IOB though because it reminds me of good times visiting LA and so I associate it with good times. Still very good, but P Terry’s is better. Short Stop is not part of this conversation.

I love me some P-Terry’s sometimes and when I finally crave it and get it, it never disappoints. I wouldn’t go so far to say this is the best burger but it is my favorite fast food burger(sorry In and Out). I feel the burgers are decently cheap. I haven’t been to McD’s in awhile but I feel a burger there is more expensive. Ingredients are fresh and it definitely did not taste like it was sitting under a heat lamp waiting for me to order it 20 min later. Only peeve about this place — the chicken burger is more expensive than the double cheeseburger. More than a dollar more I think(or maybe a more than a dollar more than the single cheeseburger?)! Either way I ended up just choosing the cheeseburger and it ended up hitting the spot.
