Had the new lobster tacos in a jicama shell. Fabulous! Wonderful waiter and an all around great experience. Want to try the green beans and shrimp dumplings. Both look so tasty. Great convenient location.

We got to sit by the window like we requested. Food was great. The manager checked in on us to make sure our experience was going well. Shout out to our waitress, Lourdes, for being wonderfully accommodating! We had a great time at this PF Changs largely in part due to Lourdes’ great service. We will be back!

Nice ambience and excellent service but. But… the food is salty to me. It was not just me. I heard a few friends of mine said the same thing. If you eat mild, don’t forget to ask the server to reduce sodium

The waitress was having a bad day, I hope. She knew nothing about the menu and foods. The few questions she answered were all wrong. On the other hand, the food was good. Chang’s Spicy Chicken was good & tasty. It would have great, if the chicken was deep fried, similar to, the Honey Chicken. The Honey Chicken with brown rice was excellent. The Mongolian Beef with stir fried green beans was excellent. I asked for about five sauces to eat my tempura green beans. The portions are small, so no need to ask for a to go box. The is good for dieters.

I had lunch here on 12÷10÷15 and I must say that everything I ordered, including the service, was great. I had the chicken lettuce wraps as an appetizer and they were wonderful. Next I ordered off their«new» menu and chose the Sichuan Chili Garlic Chicken. WOW was it tasty. The spices and flavors tingled in your mouth. Beware that this is a large plate, so it’s perfect for sharing, which I did. My server, Jessica, was attentive, courteous and polite. Couldn’t have been better. PF’s is consistently great. I wholeheartedly recommend it.

This is a great place for lunch, especially if youre like me and like to share some fried rice and kung pao chicken with a friend! Absolutely delicious! I tried a cranberry mule while I was eating lunch with my mom the other day while we were out shopping and they bring out a little row of cranberries to garnish your drink. It was pretty cute! At dinner I love the wine selection. :)

What can I say? it was fine. They call it Asian fusion but I didn’t see much fusion going on. It is no Spice Market in the meatpacking district of NYC, that is for sure. I think PFC’s is fine for a night out with the S.O., it has pretty good food, but is a bit pricey for what you get. I think I am just a little too unsophisticated when it comes to Chinese food and i think they try too hard to be the upper crust, but unsure of what. You can get better Chinese food at half the price elsewhere, but you wouldn’t have gotten it at P.F. Changs, if that makes sense. The waitstaff are very friendly, the hostess was courteous and friendly, and the crowd was refined and generally in twos and fours. They have a very well laid out gluten free menu, and have a good assortment of mixed and exotic drinks.

The wife and I went here on Friday night and really enjoyed ourselves. The drinks were great, the service was great, and the food was great… The Pot Stickers(Pan Fried) are to die for. The wonton soup was with pork dumplings, shrimp, chicken, mushrooms, spinach, and water chestnuts and hit the spot. The lettuce wraps were great. She loved her Kung Pao chicken. The only issue I had was my Orange Chicken dinner wasn’t quite what I am use to for orange chicken. I know every place cooks the orange chicken differently, but most places are fairly consistent with heat and sauce, and this place didn’t have any spice to the sauce, and the chicken wasn’t breaded how I’m use to it. That’s not a knock on it, because it was still good, and the wife loved it, especially the actual oranges that melted in your mouth, but orange chicken/beef is what I want when I do Chinese food, so I wasn’t expecting it to be different in that manner. Aside from that, we really enjoyed ourselves here!

Humm, for some reason I didn’t like this place! I ordered the Mongolian beef and I didn’t like it at all, it was chewy like a plastic not cooked well and small amount, maybe some people like it this way not me!

We went to P.F. Chang’s for my birthday on Saturday 9÷26÷15. We had a late dinner reservation and they seated us even though all members of the party had not arrived. Our server, Davey(as in Davey Crockett) was awesome. He kept the drinks refilled(my son had been at a marching band competition and was drinking Sprite by the gallon) and he had a great attitude throughout dinner. My husband I had the«two can dine» deal which came with an appetizer to share, soup and an entrée each and a dessert to share. We both loved the hot and sour soup and we both went crazy over the Mongolian beef and the honey shrimp. They topped off my meal by giving me a great wall of chocolate«piece» of cake. It was so huge that I think everyone at our table had at least a bite if not a whole layer to themselves. Everyone who joined us commented on how good their dishes were. Apparently the street noodles were a hit, as I think two people had that and were very impressed. I truly enjoyed the food, the great service and the atmosphere.

So disappointing. Service: Took a good 7 minutes to be greeted by our server who, once she decided to walk into the dining room and saw she had a table, took her time getting to us, chatting with another server, walking at a snail’s pace. That kind of service continued for our entire meal, including empty drinks. No excuse for the inattentiveness, since I could see her standing around talking to co-workers instead of making sure her table was taken care of. Food: Crab rangoons were good. Hot and sour soup and the egg drop soup lacked all flavor. The Sesame Chicken also had zero flavor. The Mongolian Beef, however, was amazing. Hard to believe these dishes came from the kitchen. We got the Chang’s For Two meal, which came with dessert. Of course, the menus that listed the options were long gone, so the server told us we had a choice of chocolate or vanilla dessert wontons. We chose chocolate. The server did not say the chocolate was actually raspberry chocolate, which was disgusting. Overall, very disappointed with what should be a given with a chain restaurant: consistent food and service.

This is actually a four and a half star review. My praises are high and my complaints are pretty minor. ***** P F Changs is an American institution and a deserving one. It is the haven of perfectly executed American Chinese food. American Chinese is a real genre. Many«Chinese» dishes are either of American origin(chop suey), or are of chinese dishes that were created in reaction to the importation of American raw ingredients(sweet and sour was invented in china by early 20th century cooks experimenting with catsup) or have been standardized into a particular form in America(mu shu pork served with oyster sauce as a flavoring). In the hands of good cooks, these dishes are all first rate. P, F. Chang’s does not do the old fashioned stuff like Pu Pu platters — but serves up all of the contemporary American chinese dishes that our nation loves. Their versions are top of the line. There are no weaknesses anywhere on the menu. The rooms always feel opulent and are beautiful to look at. And their house cocktails are lethal and wonderful.(Another American invention.) Quality control is always excellent. I have never been to a bad local outlet. * P. F. Changs evolves with the time and some changes are good and some changes I am not so keen on. They got rid of the waiters teaching you how to mix your own sauces with mustard and rice vinegar. Good riddance. Mixing your own sauce at the table never made sense when the food always came perfectly flavored from the kitchen. However, the new innovation is to reduce the size of the Chinese menu and to add a lot of Asian fusion dishes(generally in the form of Sushi.) I suspect their Sushi is just fine. But Sushi goes no more with American Chinese than lobster goes with steak — never mind the continuing popularity of Surf ‘n Turf. The public may like it — and some of P F Chang’s concessions to the public like having lots of salads, and a gluten free menu — are actually pretty cool. (The salads are first rate) But the menu feels smaller and less filled with wonderful Chinese choices than we used to have in the old days. However — what remains on the menu is excellent and you can always eat fairly well at a P F Changs. To be sure — if you can find a legendary regional Chinese restaurant in your local Chinatown — eat there and have the gourmet experience of your life. But for the American classics, very few restaurants top P F Changs.

So far so good. I order 2 vegetable spring rolls and the salt & pepper prawns. To drink I ordered a Sangria. So far my sangria is ok. I can tell it’s a mix but at least it was made ok. I was kind of confused though when I walked in and saw all the notices for«lock your doors» hide your keys, hid your wife, they mugging everybody lol. but I guess since today is Sunday all the muggers and thieves are in church. Once my food arrives I will give an update.. well my food came out and it was So So. my prawns came out and looked like they were on a diet. I had to check my order again to ensure I didn’t order popcorn shrimp. I’m probably not coming back.

We love us some P.F. Changs! The Orange Peel chicken is out of this world. The lettuce wraps are always the perfect start to a meal. And we love us some fried rice! Mmmmm

Celebrated a birthday tonight(8÷1÷2015) with a party of 9 but arrived early(with reservations also) to accommodate a Saturday night in Austin. Our waitress got off to a good start but provided misinformation about the inclusion of a entrée in their Meal for Two on the menu(it was not a trick question but I did encourage her to check with her manager to verify Walnut Shrimp could be included) which she affirmatively indicated could be done. Prior to the bill arriving, after very long and slow service, we were informed that the bill would not be the Meal for Two menu but items would be billed individually. We asked to speak with her Manager for a moment. Not concerned about the bill but more about the misinformation that we were provided. When MONICASOTO arrived at our tables her attitude was evident immediately. We explained the issue and she informed us that we should have read the menu despite what her waitress clearly said more than once. The group sitting around that table is a highly educated bunch involved in many levels of customer service and management. MONICASOTO’s demeanor and words shocked everyone when she informed my son that she is a good manager(after he quietly observed to me that this appears to be a training issue that requires some management training), which she overheard). She called my son rude and spoke down to him reprimanding him for his questioning her management. Horrible experience at this location. We will never go back. I will share this with every person I know in my company and likewise for my wife a a teacher(of reading coincidently).

I have always enjoyed the food here at P.F. Changs. And I also like how the floor plan and bar are laid out. The bars curvature is designed so you can see everyone at the bar. In other words, it’s well«laid» out to help you get laid out. I had the shrimp fried rice today and loved it. My other favorites in the past have been lomein, and the lettuce wraps. I’ll be back.

The Mongolian beef was particularly yummy. We also got some soup — tasty, and some dumplings(yummmmmm!!!) everythibg was great and the service was on point. Also — be sure to try the strawberry cucumber drink. It’s totally delicious.

The last time I went to a PF Chang’s was years ago. Normally I would go for lunch because the dishes are a few bucks cheaper and come with soup. Tonight the place was packed but strangely we got a table right away. As we made our way to it, I understood why. There was a large party that they had put a few tables together for and rearranged the remaining ones surrounding it in an awkward pattern. We got one of those tables. I had to push my chair in multiple times as people passed me, holding trays of food directly over our heads. Numerous servers had to scoot by shoving their asses directly in our faces, and we were next to the wait station so we also got to hear the servers complaining about this(LOUDLY) the whole time like they thought we couldn’t hear them. Yikes. I would have given them 2 stars for that alone but the saving grace was the food because it truly is delicious. We started with the egg rolls and dipped them into the trio of sauces that come for every table. On their own they were great, but the sauces take them to a whole other level. One is a red chili sauce, one is like a sesame oil soy, and the other is a mustard horseradish sauce that I didn’t touch as I don’t care for those flavors. My entrée was the best part for me. I got the spicy garlic noodles and they were bliss! It was the perfect balance of heat and garlic, nothing was overbearing. Family style be dammed, that plate was mine! I got through half before I had to wave the white flag and take the rest home. My husband got a beef dish with brown rice that he also devoured. I was pleased to find that even after all these years, their food is still just as good. Our server was very nice but clearly frazzled. She kept apologizing for us having to wait for refills, our check, and a to go box. I felt bad for her, especially having to hear her fellow servers talk smack about her slow moving at the wait station. Not a magical barrier guys… If you are close enough to hear our conversation then know we can hear you too. To summarize dinner was fantastic but the experience was downright uncomfortable.
