Finally! Napa Flats has opened in NW Austin. Our first visit was for lunch during the week. Excellent service and excellent food. The meatballs are to DIE for!(I dream about the meatballs from my favorite Italian restaurant in Chicago and now I can happily fulfill my meatball cravings so close to home). Lots of menu choices and very reasonable prices. I think RedFin next door needs to stand up and take notice. RedFin has equally delicious food, but their prices are not competitive with NF. Anyway, we returned a few days later to partake of their Happy Hour. Great drink discounts and reduced price apps. We tried the Mush and Spin pizza with added prosciutto. Good but not great, like the pizzas at Pieous in Dripping Springs. Hence the 4-stars instead of 5. We will definitely be back as there are so many other things to try on the menu. Yum-Yum.

Their pizza is awful, had better frozen pizza from grocery store. Other dishes are great. Good salads and gelato. Good atmosphere

Highly recommended. They were very busy and we had a little wait time. But when the food came it was well worth the wait. Simply put, this place is OMG good and staff is top shelf. We are definitely going back.

Excellent happy hour, friendly staff, and great food! This place gets busy early already, but that’s because it’s that good. Will definitely come back again and again.

A MUSTTRY! The food was fantastic, atmosphere is welcoming & beautiful with friendly service. We will be regulars for sure! It’s nice to have a place like this in the 4Points area. :) Dana, owner/operator, came by our table to welcome us and to make sure we were happy. She is enthusiastic and passionate which shows through all aspects of this restaurant! Kristan & Joe

Four stars for the happy hour, nice environment, huge wine selection and a pup friendly patio! Upon walking in you will notice their gorgeous green wood fire oven firing up dishes to order. There is an expansive dining room, a nice bar area and a gorgeously designed patio lined by custom planters that will grows herbs come springtime. We arrived 10 minutes before happy hour and put in a drink order and a happy hour portion of the ahi. Happy hour has all the elements that are important to me: great specials on wines a discounted apps to get your dining experience going. I opted for the Infinite Monkey Theorem rose(yay for good local wine) on tap which means it is $ 2 off during happy hour. The ahi is $ 7 during happy hour and is tender cuts of peppered encrusted sushi-grade ahi tuna plated with slices of fresh avocado and an acidic soy based sauce that balanced the dish nicely. Happy hour is 3pm-6pm Monday-Friday and includes the following: $ 2 off tap wines $ 4 draft beers, sangrias, house margaritas, peach bellinis, bloody Marys and mimoas $ 4-$ 7 guacamole, hummus, meatballs, chonburri and ahi The drink menu consists of reasonably priced cocktails ranging between $ 5 – 8, an extensive wine list to include 12 wines on tap and craft beers. I regret not ordering bread or pizza as the wood-fired grill is their namesake. They use oak for heat and pecan for the grill. I did however get the wood-fired avocado that had a nice char on top, plated on a bed of a corn salsa and served with chips. I do really like the whole ingredients and the flavors overall but the chimichuri was strong on the garlic for me(I would get this again but perhaps have the chimichuri on the side). Jesse ordered the poblano mac n cheese which tasted closer to a pasta dish with Alfredo sauce. This dish has Rotini macaroni baked in a creamy, roasted poblano cheese sauce topped with tasty breadcrumbs. Service was excellent and I will definitely be back to try some of those incredible smelling carbs coming from the wood-fired oven and to indulge once again with the ahi and nice happy hour wines on tap.

Went in Saturday to check it out. Wow! Impressive décor, tasteful and relaxing. Green brick décor of pizza oven really pops! Was greeted promptly by friendly hostess and directed to bar. Great selection of craft beers and wines on tap. I got the Ballast Point Grapefruit Sculpin as I love IPAs. Delicious! I ordered the polenta crusted calamari appetizer and hand cut ribeye for dinner. The polenta created a nice light coating on the calamari which paired nicely with the dipping sauces. The hand cut ribeye was juicy and flavorful and cooked a perfect medium rare. The accompanying chimichurri sauce was a nice complement. I regret not sampling a dessert, as I’m sure it would have been as delightful as the rest of the meal. Manager Dana Dupree was very engaging as was the entire staff. I definitely recommend visiting Napa Flats, as the word is going to get out and it will be hard to get seated!

I had my birthday dinner here and Napa Flats was extremely accommodating. Not only was the service impeccable, but the food was SO delicious. I will for sure be returning for some more great food! Everyone tried something different and each person at my table thoroughly enjoyed their meal. The wood-fired avocado was to die for and the BBQ Chicken Pizza was the best I have ever had!

Absolutely LOVED this restaurant! I went for opening night and was thoroughly impressed. The food was delicious, the staff was incredibly friendly and the atmosphere was awesome. I started out with the wood-fired avocados(my mouth is watering thinking about them right now), and then split a salad and pizza with my friend. We topped off the meal with their freshly made gelato. YUM! I can’t recommend this restaurant enough and can’t wait to go back. I have a feeling it’s going to be a weekly stop for me and my friends!

I was very impressed, especially for a «pre-opening» night! The hostess, wait staff & management were all very attentive without being annoying or overbearing. We started with the tomato caprese salad which was delicious. I don’t normally care for raw tomatoes, but the olive oil/balsamic glaze/basil brought all of the flazors and textures very nicely. We also had the Palo Alto dip which was incredible. The artichokes couldve been a little more chunky, but that purely a personal preference. It was rich and could not have tasted any better. I had the ribeye which comes with green beans & mashed potatoes, and my gf had the lamb chops with mashed potatoes & asparagus. Both entrées and their sides were were cooked perfectly. Everything was flavorful and nothing was over seasoned. I’d definitely recommend Napa Flats to anyone, especially in North Austin. I look forward to going back and trying the pizza, it looks fantastic!

I am so excited Napa Flats has opened. I have anxiously been waiting to try out the restaurant and went tonight and it did not disappoint. The space is beautiful, staff incredibly hospitable and friendly and the food is outstanding. We had the grilled avocados, kale salad and cheese pizza and everything was prepared perfectly and delicious. Cannot wait to go back!

My wife, our littles and I had the guacamole for an appetizer, Tony’s bowtie pasta, ahi asian salad, and a side of poblano mac n cheese. All were very good. Happy hour house margarita and sangria for just $ 4. Then the gelato! Wow! Great atmosphere and staff as well. Can’t wait to go back.

Four of us, we order 4 dishes. I have one bite from other dishes! :) Appetizer Calamari is very tasty, but the bread coding is little bit dry. I love the dipping sauce! Entrée I have RIBEYE for my entrée. I definitely come back for this dish. Ribeye just cooks right and super tasty! The side dishes are green beans and mash potato. Green beans unlike other restaurants, it’s not oily at all. Mash potato is not buttery at all! LOVE this dish! Don’t forget their Gelato! :)

Opening night at the restaurant. For a place that was just getting started I was quite impressed. We started out with a Kale Salad… it was nice full of cranberries, apples, cheese and grilled chicken with a balsamic dressing. The Entrees were very good. I had the bow tie pasta with sun dried tomatoes, peas, with grilled chicken in an Alfredo Sauce which was very good. My wife had the white fish which was grilled and served with a nice sauce with savory mushrooms. My friends ordered the red fish which was delicious and meaty with a relish accompaniment that was on point. Finally, my other friend ordered the spinach Ravioli in a slightly spicy cream sauce. This dish was amazing and I intend to order it in the future. They have a nice assortment of craft beers and the service was great. This was their first run and if this is an indication of what is to come I am all over it.
