Lone Star Awards & Trophies

I am addicted to utilizing Lone Star Awards & Trophies shop because the service is IMPECCABLE! They are courteous, helpful and have a plethora of designs to choose from, their pricing is perfect and the turn around is fast. I LOVE this place! I keep coming up with creative ideas just so I can go in and get things engraved, too! Patti (at the front desk) treats me with respect and everything I’ve ordered from them has looked spectacular. I would give them TEN STARS if I could! (Plus, there’s the cutest little dog who hangs out with a big smile.)

They always do a great job for me. I’ve gotten many Toastmaster trophies here and several fantasy football trophies, all at a great price.

Wow. This shop is amazing.
I had a key chain engraved by another company — which engraved it wrong. The key chain was a Christmas present, and it was December 23. NO place in Austin could engrave it same-​day.
Except for these amazing people.
I cannot remember her name, but the woman who engraved the key chain was a star. She had it done in a few hours… even with all of her other work stacked up.
When I went to pick it up, she told me that her boss (after hearing the story of this other place which screwed up) gave me a discount.
And the quality? Perfect. Better than I had expected. i wish I had more stuff to engrave… simply because it’s nice to find a company that treats its customers so well.

At our Christmas party, the boss likes to recognize one employee who does an outstanding job during the year. This year he wanted to present a trophy. He tells me to buy an engraved trophy one week before the party. If anyone has purchased trophies before, they know it is nearly impossible in that time frame.
I had to eliminate buying online and look for a local shop to even have a chance of getting it on time. Thank You Unilocal.I found three shops but only one didn’t hem and haw about the time. I make the drive over to view what they have. I found a perfect trophy within our budget. They told me it could be engraved and ready in 3 days.
Sure enough 3 days later, I receive a call that the trophy is ready.
These guys are the best. A great looking trophy, reasonably price and done in record time.

I came in with an unusual order. I needed a pottery shard drilled and engraved with a menorah. When I brought the shard in neither I nor the man at the desk knew if you could engrave an ancient pottery shard and the (very nice and helpful) man at the desk didn’t know what a menorah looked like. Nonetheless in very short order I received back my pottery shard drilled and beautifully engraved. The people here are great, very capable and willing to take unusual requests.

I get my plaques from Lonestar every year for my black belts graduates. They do a great job. I tried to get them cheaper online with do-​it-​yourself but the quality was inconsistent and poor. Lonestar’s quality is good plus there is a cute little puppy you can play with in their shop.

The Student Council at my school voted to plant a tree and dedicate it in honor of the father of two students at our school who was an Austin police officer killed in the line of duty. We contacted several places to have a plaque made for the tree, but only Lone Star was able to meet our tight budget and have it ready in time for the ceremony. Since you pay per letter for the engraving, we had to cut out the word «Officer» when we placed our order. Lone Star knew our preference was to have the word «Officer» on the plaque and understood our budget issues, so they were kind enough to add the word to our plaque free of charge! We are so grateful for their thoughtfulness. The plaque looks amazing and the staff we worked with were absolutely fabulous! If we find ourselves in need of something else in the future, we will definitely be returning to Lone Star!

I took a flask here to be engraved on Dec. 16^th and they told me it would be ready in 5 business days. As it was the week before Christmas, I could understand a bit of a wait but I saw on the wall that it’s standard policy for an order to be ready in 5 business days. That would probably be the only negative. The guy that helped me out was very friendly and helpful. I was very satisfied with the quality of their work and so was the recipient of the flask. The charge for engraving was about $ 17. I would recommend Lone Star for engraving work if you are not in a rush (but if you are, I’m sure they could put a rush order on it for an extra fee.)

I had a last minute engraving that needed to be done on a knife. I called them Monday, they said they could have it ready by Tuesday. When I got there, I asked them if they could have it couriered over to me when it was complete (I was really busy and didn’t have time for hardly anything during biz hours). They set that up, no problem.
Then, on Tuesday, the guy who took the order for me called saying that they didn’t get the knife done in time, so they missed the courier but that he would hand deliver the knife to my office. Amazing. If you need a trophy or engraving done quickly, at a fair price with great people who know how to treat customers, I highly recommend Lone Star Awards.
