Logan’s Roadhouse

Sad to say the peanuts and yeast rolls that was free, were better than the $ 17 steak. I typically always go for the mini roadie burgers. They’re usually good but thought I would try something different. Don’t waste your time if your looking for a good steak.

I decided to come here for two reasons. One it is close to home and two I had a gift card. I don’t know why the reviews are so poor for this location. Our waiter was very nice, friendly and gave me a good drink choice when I asked him which one of the speciality teas were best. I had the Logan’s watermelon tea. It was strong but oh so tasty. I strongly recommend it. My steak was a little undercooked, I asked for med rare and it was a little more rare then I like. But the young lady that brought our food waited until I checked to see if it was to my liking before she left. She offered to take it back for a bit longer cook time. I really appreciated that. When my steak came back it was just right, tender and full of flavor. The mushrooms are really good and go great with the steak. My hubby got the meatloaf and said it was really good. The only reason for four stars instead of five is that I did have to send my steak back. Most places either give you a attitude for sending something back or overcook the steak so it is pointless to send back and refuse to cook another one. I would rather have to send back for a little more cook time then ask for a whole new one. Of course it would be nice to not have to do either. I will definitely come back.

Food: mushrooms ruined with salt, dried out burgers, soggy salad, bad lobster as in food poisoning bad
Service: the worst service I have received anywhere in fifteen years and five states: slower than I ever thought possible, didn’t receive salads until some were half done with entrees, not enough silverware, condiments, napkins and server wouldn’t bring them even after being asked three times, and then arguing and rudeness from another server
Atmosphere: physically we were comfortable as a party of nine near a fireplace but the social atmosphere was not fun because every table in the place was mad because of the nearly non existent service
Tip: Just go anywhere else

By boyfriend and I love Logan’s! The steamed broccoli is the best I’ve ever had… every time! I have tried several different entrees and all of them have been delicious! Our server last night, Kevin, was friendly, animated and never disappointed!!! We would recommend this place to ANYONE!

I ordered chicken fried steak and fuck yes, this baby was massive. My mashed potatoes were salty but I like’em like that. The bummer? Wrong gravy on my mash. I asked for brown and instead double the country gravy. I love me some country gravy, don’t get me wrong here. I just like certain things a certain way and that was not happening today. As for my friend, he ordered your basic steak but to his disdain it came overdone. He ordered medium and got it well. For a steak dude, this was a pretty big deal. The server asked him to cut it open and check it out and sure, it was lighter inside but still over done for his liking.
The wait staff was just fine except for when we first got there. Our server actually went to attend the table that walked in and got sat after us which annoyed the fuck out of me seeing as our day had already been quite painful (remember? *sigh*)
I’ll tell you one thing though, (this was my first trip to Logan’s,)those warm, fresh-​out-​the oven rolls were absolutely amazing!

Excellent service! Bri was very helpful when we had questions about the menu. Food came out quickly and was delicious. We will definitely be back.

Had an e-​coupon for free hamburger. Sold out 2 hrs after opening. Next day sold out in 30 min. Will unsubscribe & never return. Bad planning, poor PR, NO Substitution offered.

Visiting Texas and was completely disappointed.
What steakhouse/​roadhouse in Texas doesn’t have prime rib and baby back ribs on a weekend?!
Place has a Cracker Barrel feel, peanut shells on floor, reasonably friendly staff. Quality of food was average. Atmosphere was sort of typical of my time in Texas, tons of spaces but nobody filling the seats.
Overall left me wishing for much more. Would not recommend to a friend.

Worst Logan’s I’ve ever been to. How are you out of both sirloin and ground beef? No manager presence what so ever. Over 30 tables empty that I could count since we walked in yet there is a 15 – 20 minute wait & the rudest hostess (couldn’t even write my name down all she wrote was C & had other hostesses asking who is C). Not to mention the kitchen smells sour from the moment you walk in you can smell the odor. Needless to say we will not be returning! BE SURE TO REQUEST TO SIT AWAY FROM THE KITCHEN IF YOU WISH NOT TO SMELL THE KITCHEN! Very poor management of staffing and supplies to say the least. Also they don’t follow the menu. Where it clearly states pepper jack cheese they use cheddar and the manager says that’s the recipe… She turned red when I pointed it out on their menu, Don’t lie to your customers. Be honest that your staff fucked up and take care of it. After all I am a paying customer!

It was dead, really no one, so no excuse to neglect your customers. Stephanie did just that. My children and I sat for 10 minutes and our waitress Stephanie never showed. And other waitresses passed us by (and I’m sure you were able to notice the unpleasant look on my face) and just didn’t give a damn. 1^st time and the last… I’ll stick to Texas Roadhouse.

Horrible! Do Not Recommend! Doesn’t even deserve one star today, but the peanuts were ok. The «Fried Cheese» burger is a cold bun, burnt shriveled something and a crusty disc of something like a school cafeteria cheese fried-​unidentified. I’ve tried the meatloaf a couple of times, so I compromised. Bad food karma! The meatloaf came highly charred and the vegetable skewer was… all like blackened mushrooms. Only mushrooms. Nothing but mushrooms. I drank my two Blue Moons and left. SMH.

Simply the best. Better than all the rest! I got the T-​bone and it was perfectly cooked. And props to the chef for accommodating my chocolate sauce request. #YOLO

This time it was a disaster! We have been here twice before, but won’t be back.
Walked in about 6:30 on Saturday night, not crowded at all and were seated right away — in fact the server couldn’t wait to take drink orders even though one of our party was in the restroom. Did get our drinks — a little slow but tolerable.
Ordered our dinner including salads. About 15 minutes later the meal was delivered — no salads yet. I asked about the salads and the servers had no clue. No I’m sorry, nope just where can we put this food and by the way do you still want the salads?
We took the food — salads came 10 minutes later. My wife’s steak was ordered well done and was at best medium rare. Her potato had a large rotten spot. The waitress was not concerned and walked away! The salads had so much dressing the lettuce was floating. My wife’s beer had a bug floating in it.
Eventually a manager happened by, I told our story. He wound up taking my wife’s meal off and the beer. No apology about the late salads or any of the other issues.
We won’t be back — drove 40 minutes to get there. This was a FAIL! It won’t let me leave no stars — that’s why there’s one star.

This place has gone downhill! My steak was not cooked properly-​had to send it back and the appetizers were so greasy you could hardly eat them! I won’t go back!

I came to a Logan’s for the first time. My husband knew about them from Michigan. He had a 11.99 coupon for the Logan steak and an appetizer. I got the spicy grilled wings which were huge. I thought it was the halves but they serve the entire flat and drummy part. The sauce on it was super tasty. The steak was perfectly cooked medium rare. I was so full from the appetizer, I ended up taking most of my steak home and the side salad and I usually eat more than my husband!
This place is a lot better than Outback and any chain steak place. I used to go to Outback and Steak and Ales and completely stopped ordering steaks from chains. They are usually inconsistent and rarely make it the way you ask. So far this place is pretty good. Hopefully they keep impressing me!

Ive been here 3 times in the last month, its use to be one of my favorite places to eat but has gone down hill.3 out of 3 visits they have messed up orders every time, bad service every time, and one time almost 2 hours to serve our food. The thing that really urks me is the staff that just stands around and doesnt care just text on their phones especially the hostess with the dark hair and black glasses… needless to say this is my last visit here they have lost a long time customer. peace

Came in at 215 and the place was empty and still waited to be seated after 2 people said they would seat us. Then finally we were seated and waited for a waitress to come over to take our drink order. Was told our rolls would be out soon thirty mins later rolls come out. 310 food came out cold and when we requested for new food we were told by the waitress Jennifer that she stood at the window and came right out. Just got new food and the potato came out like ice.

Might have gotten seated faster if the hostess with the glasses got of her phone. So far not too impressed.

My girlfriend and I decided to check this place out the other night and the experience was less than desirable. Our waiter, Coleman, was a nice enough kid. I could tell the food wanted to be good, but the chef that night had obviously never cooked a steak before. I asked for my ribeye to be medium rare, and one portion of it was. The other ¾ of the steak was well. My girlfriend ordered her filet medium rare. It came out well so she sent it back, when it came back it looked like a piece of ahi tuna. Seared only. I could faintly here the moo of a cow when she cut into the meat initially, it was that raw.
We both ate as much as we could handle and that wasn’t much. We asked to speak to the manager, to let him know the deal about the steaks. He apologized but shifted the entire blame on his kitchen staff «being out of it.» It was really ridiculous. He reminded me of a mix between David Koechner’s character in Waiting… and Hank Hill. After calmly airing our displeasure with the steaks, we asked him for our bill so we could be on our way. Instead of grabbing our bill, he decides to mozy on over to the hostess stand and chit chat with a few of his female employees while we waited for a good 10 minutes for the bill.
It was a terrible experience. The Brewski Style steaks are good but when the meat cannot be cooked properly and the management pawns off blame on his subordinates (which is a big no-​no in the school of management) I can’t see us going back. We wish Coleman luck with his job, with management like that, I’m sure it’s tough to retain good help.
