Agnieszka traveled out early in the morning deep into the hill country to deliver two meals and 3 plates of Hors d’oeuvres to a sales meeting held in a residence.
Planning with Agnieszka (won’t call her Agi, because it has negative connotations to me, Hook ‘em) was painless and quick. She negotiated meal and price on very short notice. We ran into a roadblock when she placed a kale salad on the menu. I and a couple others had never eaten kale where it wasn’t bitter and texturally unpleasant (sorry wives).When we asked her to substitute, she politely stood her ground and asked «are you sure?» Like any good Chef she designed the meal and was willing to defend her choices, politely.
I told her it was her reputation that was on the line and if she felt her preparation would be enjoyed by us, she could stick to it and deal with the results of a negative review.
We had an enjoyable breakfast then for lunch we began our consumption and review of the kale which was served with a delicious «mac –n-​cheese.»
The result was everyone who had an issue with the kale went over and expressed their joy at the taste of the kale salad.
We had vegetarians, gluten free vegans and a large group of cross cultured omnivores. Her meals were loved by all.

Agi was my chef for a rather large dinner party in Los Angeles when she had her company here. She was not only cheerful in the kitchen & super accommodating when there was a request made, but her food was out of this world! I have not only eaten her dishes, watched her prepare them, but also bore witness to her creating her delights! I hope Austin opens their arms to her & her new young family!

To the wonderful people of Austin: One of the best chefs imaginable has recently made your city her home. Agi made and delivered custom meals to me when she lived in L.A. and I was too busy to prepare them myself. Every single dish met my discerning taste. She brought me wraps, salads, soups, and delectable desserts. All her own creations. And seeing her bright, cheery self in my office, thermal bag FULL of goodies on her arm, was an added bonus. This girl is beyond creative in the kitchen. Hire her.
