Do yourself a favor. Stop worrying about finding the right stylist for your needs and just go see Jenna. I went in for a consultation (which I HIGHLY recommend for anyone looking to completely change their look or have a major coloring job done) and immediately felt that she had my best interest in mind. It was very apparent that she knew what she was doing and I could sit back and relax. Because I was going platinum for the first time, the process took quite awhile. She worked nonstop through the appt. in order to ensure that all of my hair came out the same shade. I had originally wanted to get a haircut as well that same day but we ran out of time by the end of my appointment. Jenna said she could fit a haircut in but wanted to take her time and give me an awesome haircut so we agreed that saving that step for another day was the way to go. She is PASSIONATE about her job and truly loves creating kick ass looks. I can’t stress how careful and meticulous she is about her styling. Check her out at Little Sister Salon!

So I was going to see her… because she had been highly recommended… but…
I was impatient… and cheap (I know, so much shame)
And I ended up with my dad’s haircut from the 90’s (FML… not a good start to the year)
Jenna got me in the day of, was honest, didn’t blow smoke up my ass and had the mad scissor skills to turn my mop of hair into a super cute texturized pixie cut that has gotten me several compliments in just one day!
She’s an artist, is easy to talk to, funny, and super hot! I am definitely coming back, I’ve learned my lesson the hard way so that you don’t have to, just go to Jenna the first time, you won’t regret it!

Jenna is a rare stylist who, after just a few cuts, I trust completely. I may give her a couple guidelines when I sit down (i.e. keep the sides super short), but otherwise I tell her to make me look good. She always delivers a precision scissor cut that actually grows out well rather than having to go back in every couple weeks for a trim.
She also has serious game in the color department. She took my dark brown hair to blue-​white in one session, and my hair texture felt totally natural. The white has grown out and looks great in contrast with my high-​fade brown hair on the sides.
She recently moved to Little Sister Salon and I’ll be following her there!

Jenna is truly an artist.
Back in August 2014, I’d been sick, fired and was just done. I had shoulder length hair and decided it was time for a change. She gave me the best pixie cut I’ve ever had! (She did talk me down from a partial buzz, so bonus points for that! She could read what I needed.)
I have never gotten more compliments on my hair than I do with Jenna.

The reviews aren’t a joke or exaggerated in the least bit. After three years of trial and error with my new hair style, Jenna nailed it on the first session. Definitely the best my hair has EVER looked! If you’ve been blessed enough to stumble across this page, just do it! You will not regret it at all!

Jenna is awesome. She’s super nice, professional, and passionate about what she does. I literally just told her to do whatever she wanted to my hair, and she came up with something cool and fun that I loved. She was so focused and precise when doing my hair and really gave me a wonderful experience. I’d want to shower her with more compliments but words don’t do her hair-​cutting skill justice!

Jenna Herrington loves what she does, and it shows. I found her by luck and Unilocal,and what a boon for me! As a backdrop, I have fine hair that quickly reveals a mediocre cut, and I’m extremely particular about my color — I have a big blonde chunk (in a head full of red) that is easily botched to pink by all but the most careful colorists. Needless to say, I’m way beyond picky. Good cuts result from both artistic ability and an inherent understanding of hair and how it behaves — Jenna understands that and gets that it’s a new ball game with every client — all hair is NOT created equal! She’s also proficient with color — I was totally psyched to learn that Wella is one of her go-​to colorants, as I have always been a HUGE fan of Wella and consider it a mark of quality. Beyond her talent as a stylist, Jenna has a knack for making you feel totally welcome and comfortable in her chair even though you’ve just met her. The only complaint I have is that she’s located in Austin, and I just hope I’m able to find someone who measures up when I start my search for a regular stylist in Atlanta!!!

On time, tiny and talented. She’s from Texas but cut hair in LA, then returned to Texas to kick ass and cut hair. She’s been taking me from a super short cut to a bob, not an easy task. I dreaded the initial stages. But Jenna’s got the skills to get me through the growing-​out stage AND get me hair compliments from strangers along the way. Nice!

Jenna is the only stylist I will jump a motorcycle over a shark for. That’s metaphorical, of course, because I don’t want PETA thinking this is something I’ve actually done and picketing my house.
I met Jenna when she was still slinging shears at Birds Barbershop. I was assigned her at random and I’m so happy that fate intervened that day because my hair has never looked better. Or «Never looked more Stylin’» as no one has said since 1993.
Jenna is not only exceptionally good at giving you exactly the cut you want, but she’s also gifted with improvising style if you’re not entirely sure what you’re after or have a vague idea of what it might be.
If you have to trust your hair to someone, trust it to her. You’ll thank me for it. (A high five will suffice)

Jenna is an AMAZING stylist. I met her a few years ago at Bird’s Barbershop. I had been given a hack job of haircut, and my friend recommended Jenna to fix the mess on top of my head. Even though it took time for my horrible bangs to grow (which we still to this day make fun of), Jenna was able to give me a great haircut every time. She takes her time and is very precise. You know when you go that you aren’t just getting some five minute, half-​hearted cut. She asks what you would like, makes suggestions about what she thinks is best, and I have yet to be disappointed. For me, it’s about a hairstyle that works for my hair type AND my face. She knows what will look best on me. I am at the point where I just walk in and say, «Do whatever you want. I trust you.» I moved to San Antonio about a year and a half ago, and I still drive to Austin to get my hair cut. THAT’S how good she is. I would recommend Jenna to anyone looking for someone to give them a great haircut that looks just as amazing 6 weeks in as it does when you just leave the salon. And on top of being an incredible stylist, she’s pretty bad ass, so you will enjoy your experience all around every time you see her.
