The hubs and I tried this location out the other night and I must say we were impressed with our visit. Staff was friendly and service was fast!

Typically I love coming here with my family and my dad whom is disabled. We always have a super friendly waiter or waitress. Today was awful. First of all, they gave us SOUR milk, and not just our table either, whom apparently had and issue earlier(clearly they didn’t think to tell us that the chocolate milk was bad). The waitress was clearly assisting too many tables and had an extremely friendly man named John to come and check on us. Getting our order taken was a lot slower due to this issue which was frustrating but not the biggest deal since it’s not her fault. When checking out we went to the front like always to pay, they apparently changed that and we were told Very rudely by the manager! Even though she just checked someone out who placed and order to go and we had the ticket in our hands. I asked if she could resolve the issue of the ticket since the military discount or senior discount wasn’t applied(which ever is easier for them), and she said the waiter would take care of that and just walked off. I understand that being a manger is difficult but honestly treating someone as an after thought and not even trying to assist your employees was infuriating. We(my disabled dad) walked all the way back to the table(I didn’t mind but he isn’t as mobile as any other person) and we stood while John took care of us. John is amazing, the waitress was alright, but the manager was terrible and I strongly recommend her reevaluating how she treats customers and how she assists her employees. A manager is there to help her workers, and not dismiss a customer. I’d give John a five star but this establishment deserves a two.

Weekday rarity — one of my kids had an extra day off so we headed to IHOP for a special breakfast. He gives a huge thumbs up to the current special — cupcake pancakes. Weekday breakfast service at this location could be quicker — but the food was fresh and hot, sunny-side up eggs cooked properly, and the check promptly picked up and returned. The waitstaff here have all become very friendly over the past few months, and I’m glad to see its just not an evening thing. Consistency is a good thing — keep it up IHOP!

Although a chain you are pretty much guaranteed of the quality. We come about once a month and the only issue we have ever had was the eggs not being prepared right but they always fix it. Sometimes service can be slow but servers are friendly.

Only reason why i give it a 2 is because of the filthy kitchen. I peeked when i went to the restroom, top to bottom, dirty. There was a bin of biscuits just sitting there, open while a fly was travelling around. Food crumbs all over the floor, moldy smell from dirty towels when the tables are«cleaned». The little kitchen they all stand in… just dirty. Service was great though. They should at least get a cheap water bottle, fill it with 5050 bleach water, and spray the tables down… oh wells. :/

This is quite possibly the WORST ihop in Austin and cedar park. It’s slow and the food is bad. The people couldn’t care less. The interior is run down and dirty. I mean ihop is ihop but this one is awful. Skip it

Why list your restaurant as 24 hours and then close your kitchen for 3 hours for«oven cleaning?» That’s ridiculous. I may understand closing your kitchen for 30 minutes max but OVERTWOHOURS? What the hell??? I bet you just don’t want to do any freaking work. They were super disrespectful and rude when telling us. They kicked us out. What restaurant kicks out customers? That is just absolutely HORRID customer service. It doesn’t take 3 hours to clean your ovens. This particular IHOP is one of the worst locations I’ve ever visited. What about people traveling for long distances? Isn’t that why you are open late? How about you give us an option to get something that doesn’t require an oven? Like coffee or any other 20 some items on your menu that don’t require an OVEN??? Whoever owns this IHOP, I hope you see this review and take action… The date and time is 2÷29÷16 at 2:00AM. Either get your act together, or don’t expect any of mine or #FusionHookahlounge ‘s business. By the by, fusion hookah lounge is right by your location and I am the manager. We close at 2 or 4AM, which would be nearly all of your nightly customers. If this problem and horrific customer service continues, I will have to stress to my customers not to come into your location. I will be looking for a response.

My wife found the assistant’s manager cleaning a ready-to-serve cooked egg with her fingers; my wife told the manager about it and later the assistant came to apologize with the excuse that it was an old plate that she was going to throw it away and she was just playing with it. ha… Our next breakfast sampler will be at home, for sure…

as of Aug 31, the establishment was closed for renovations. Had a couple of dinners there for meetings with friends. Always consistent, the staff was great, and the food is standard. Always nice to get breakfast for dinner :) We use the back room for our meetings, and again, the staff was wonderful, patient and always there to help. If they open back up after the renovation, will be good to go back for inexpensive dinners with friends and use the back room for our meetings.

this company treats their employees very badly. Pay the least in the industry and charge for food regardless of whether you get to eat or not. I have not been back since 10 of 2014 and probably will never go into another IHOP. I can make my own eggs and pancakes without the HIGHPRICES.

The worst. We waited an hour with young kids only to find out they hadn’t even started cooking. The server approached us after 30m to tell us the system had crashed and only put part of our order in. He confirmed the rest of our order and went off. He came back in a minute to tell us that the order actually had gone through before the crash and that our food was being cooked. 30m later, we asked what was going on, and that’s when it came about that NOFOOD had been cooked. No apology. No offer of a discount or anything. We left upset and ate at another restaurant nearby. Awful.

I love some IHOP. Pancakes, eggs, ham, sausage, omelettes. Love all that breakfast food. I don’t eat off their lunch or dinner menu and don’t have to. That’s all I have to say about it.

I always appreciate the availability of the food and the basic menu variety of IHOP, so there is really nothing that stands out for this experience. I can say that our waiter Cody did his best to take care of his area within some big constraints; a large swim & dive team was seated and that took up a lot of the staff’s time since they were all one very large group that required a lot of attention. These things do happen in popular places like IHOP, so I am not worried about that. but I can say that Cody did his best to get us our orders(though a little cold) and refill our drinks as fast as he could. A solid 3 of 5 stars. nothing to stand out and make it 4 stars… just good basic food.

This location can get CRAZY busy, so not matter what time of day I anticipate a wait. On the plus side, the parking lot is quite large and isn’t an issue compared to other IHOP locations. Sundays are INNNNNSSSSAANNNNEE! Expect at least a 30min wait. I feel really bad for the hosting and wait staff having to put up with the massive herd of impatient and hungry folks and screaming children. Since the indoor waiting area gets packed in fast, I usually will wait outside on the benches — it’s way less stressful for me. For the most part I like the wait staff. Out of the countless times I have been here, I have only had 2 rude waiters — which are not there anymore. I think the rooty tooty is always a good deal and safe option for me. I’m not so crazy about all the fancy flavored of pancakes early in the morning. So for the standard breakfast gal the 2 pancakes, eggs, and bacon(or sausage) is perfect! You can request flavored pancakes or egg whites for an additional charge. The pancakes are always perfect(flavored or regular), but the eggs can, at times, come out drowning in butter. Overall, this IHOP gets a fair rating for me for the 1. endless coffee– leaving a full pot on the table def beats waiting for a cup at a time refill, especially on crazy busy days. 2. Good service 3. and delicious pancakes.

IHOP is IHOP and as much as I want to have good service and good food, I know that’s usually the exception and not the norm. On our recent visit, it was 1am, and we had just arrived from out of town. Tired and starving, we were anxious to eat and get home to go to bed. The waitress came right over and took our drink order. And then we didn’t see her again. Ten minutes later, I caught the manager’s attention and he sent us a waiter and waitress to take care of us. From then on, the service was great. Our original waitress showed up again, so between the three servers, I have no idea who got the tip we left. I tried the seasonal fruit/yogurt crêpe. As much as I wanted to like this, it was really hard to. The heat from the crêpe made the yogurt and fruit warm, too, so as I would take a bite, anticipating cool yogurt and fruit with a warm crêpe, it was all just lukewarm. I liked the concept, though, and the granola on top was great. The bacon that I ordered extra crispy was limp and was mostly fat. My husband ordered the french toast and said it was fine. Two stars for the service, the edible food, and the questionable patrons(I realize that they can’t help that). It gets an extra star for being open 24 hours.
