If I could give this review a 0 star rating I would. I went with a group of friends for breakfast Sunday morning. It was a total of eight of us. When we arrived the hostess informed us it would be a 35 minute wait maximum. Well 40 mins passed and when we asked on the status of our wait she said we needed to wait 10 minutes more. During the time of our wait we saw several parties being seated. They had informed us that we were waiting longer since we were a big party. However, two parties of seven were seated prior than us. Take in mind that these parties arrived after we did. We asked again how much longer it would take to be seated. I questioned why the other parties were seated prior than our group and they said because they were 7 and we were 8. The excuse was very unreasonable. Not once did they apologize for the inconvenience! We waited a total of 1 hr 15 mins. We decided to leave since we still had a 3 hr drive to Dallas. I asked to speak to the manager. The general manager was rude and question who I was to be complaining. I informed him I was the party of eight that they have not seated. He as well did not apologize for the inconvenience nor did he offer a solution. I will be speaking with the district manager and corporate. This is ridiculous. One of my friends suffers from hypoglycemia so this made the situation even worse.

Its Wednesday night, we’re trying to celebrate our sons concert with relatives at this ihop. Only 2 servers and 1 cook on staff. Sat here for 10 minutes before our drink order was taken. Didn’t have coffee made it off chocolate shake ice-cream and completely messy serves. We’ve now waited for a replacement shake for another 10 minutes while our waitress served and sat other customers. Now been 25 minutes since we ordered food and just now getting it. Order is already wrong. This place needs better management. I wouldn’t come here on a week night if I were you.

Came here for breakfast on a Sunday morning before church even got out and we waited outside for over ½ hour. Than when we ordered it took another ½ hour for our food to come out. People who sat down after us were getting their food and we were still waiting. However, when the food came out it was delicious!

Has to be one of the worst IHOPs I’ve ever been in. Went in for lunch on a weekday, and there were a dozen people waiting. I noticed a lot of empty, but un-bussed tables. But I got seated in about 5 minutes. Another 5 minutes before a waitress came by to get my drink order only, even though I was ready to order my meal. Another 5 minutes, and she brings the drink to disappear for another 5 minutes. Then comes back and takes my order, which arrives in about 10 minutes. No silverware! Takes another 5 minutes for her to walk by, when I stopped her for silverware. Never came by for a follow up or refill of drink. I left $ 10, since the meal was $ 8. Probably too generous a tip!

We came here last Sunday about 1130 pm. Family of 4. They sat us immediately. However several staff walked past us over and over. We were about to leave when Brianna walks up and says«they were trying to figure out who had us» I replied«so we’re we»(Honestly it was about 10 minutes for anyone to greet us, maybe 3 tables in whole place) and several servers. We order our food, had to ask for refills. Brianna kept flirting with the 2 guys next to us including giving them free pancakes and bacon. yet we have to ask for refills? We normally don’t come to this one. Probably won’t again. This one lacks team work

My omelet was great but the service from our waitress was not so great. We waited for over 10 minutes for her to take our drink orders and she rolled her eyes at us. It was not busy. Also the women’s bathroom was disgusting. I don’t think I’ll ever come here again.

I just want to say if there was a NOSTAR that’s what it would’ve been my husband and I and my daughter went to eat there around noon got the worst service in all of Austin so we left I talked to the manager seemed as a manager didn’t give a damn! told her not to make our food was so angry I couldn’t bare to eat there once the host had commented on my husband’s tattoos in a negative way after we told her that we felt offended and she had turn around and rolled her eyes!! yeah we can eat there I don’t think we could go there again sucks cause I really like IHOP will just go to another! It’s uncomfortable to think how a Manager can sugar coat a conversation that she wasn’t present at! If you want bigger sales that’s not how to get it!

Shitty customer service. Had 6 people walk by with a line full of customers. None of the 6 employees who walked by acknowledged any of the customers in line. Asked for a manager while being seated. Received our food and still have not talked with the manager even though he has walked by a number of times.

Eat at an IHOP anywhere and you get the best omelette anywhere. Substitute eggs in the steak omelette and you’re on tops. Eat the pancakes that come with it and you’re over the top.

My son and I decided to go here for dinner. Parking lot was practically empty, hooray! Took us a few minutes to be seated even though the place maybe had 3 tables being used. The also seemed to be only 2 waitstaff. The table smelled like it had been cleaned by a tag that had been sitting in dirty water for a long time. For a place that was almost empty I could swear that I felt like we were there on a Saturday morning. Our waiter took forever to come and get our drink order. Then he took forever bringing our drinks, maybe he had to go up to HEB and get more soda. We have him our order and that was another while to wait to get our food, which I don’t mind waiting to long. The waiter also seemed to take forever filling our drinks back up. He also just seemed annoyed that he had to wait on guests. My food was decent. My son said his food was terrible. He was not happy. I will not be going back here for dinner.

After this bad visit with IHOP, I got a call from a regional manager asking more about the visit, apologizing, and even gave me three comped meals to makeup for the poor visit. Outstanding customer service and kudos to them on that. When we returned we got our IHOP favs again and they were all made great. Thanks for making it up to us ihop!

Lady sitting people calls out names she has already sat… one person had to wait over 10 minutes to get plastic ware for his Togo order n had to ask 3 people… an older manager n that lady sitting even one plus a waitress… another person had to wait over 15 minutes for his to go order yet it sat on the counter the whole time… he finally asked if it was his n it was cold. Lady that sat me n granddaughter threw our menus on the table n walked away never making eye contact with us… worse part is it wasn’t as busy for a Sunday. …bathrooms are filthy

I did not feel like syrup and it was 10 am, so IHOP came to mind. First time to try their burger. I was not disappointed. I got the monster burger because I thought the burgers had the normal tiny piece if meat on it, just like all fast food restaurants, but oh how wrong I was. I could barely wrap my lips around this burger. Yes, it was that big. Their single patty burger would have been good. I know now for next time. The fries were very well seasoned but a little lukewarm. I really enjoyed eating the lunch food as opposed to their breakfast.

Unprofessional staff and TERRIBLE customer service! I came by this location on a Sunday morning for breakfast. This location is usually pretty busy on Sunday mornings so when the wait for a party of two was 30 minutes I decided to just call in the order and get it to go. The line was pretty long so I decided to just jot down the store number plastered on the wall right behind the greeter and proceed to my car and just call in the order to take home and enjoy. A Mexican lady with terrible broken English answered the phone and took my order. After about 5 minutes she finally got it and repeated it back to me verbatim and told me it would be ready and 15 min. Perfect! Beats having to wait for a table for 30 minutes so I thought… After 15 minutes I go back in and inform the lady at the front that I was there to pick up a to go order. She asks my name, she sends a young Hispanic boy to go look for it. He comes back with someone’s else’s order so she sends him back to locate mines. He comes back stating that he can’t find it. The lady at the front counter then goes to look for it then comes back stating«We have no to go orders at all». I explained to her that I just literally called it in 15 – 20 min ago. She asks me for the number I called, I read it from my phone log as follows 512−989−2333 and then I state I just came in here, you just saw me. She then go gets her manager. He asks the same question and I give him the same answer. He then takes the order and says it’ll be ready shortly. NO apology, NO acknowledgement of their error, NONE. At this point I should have left, but unlike this establishment I didn’t want to rude. However, having them prepare a meal and then me not purchase it after the terrible customer service would have been deserving at this point. He then comes back with my order and snatches, yes snatches my card out of my hand when handing it to him. Brings my receipt and grunts something under his breath as I was jotting down this contact info from the sign on the desk. As if this experience didn’t deserve to be reported. I sign my receipt, and leave. Again, NO apology, NO compensation, NO acknowledgement. This is the WORST customer service experience ever. I will be sure to warn any and every one about this particular location through every review site possible simply because the MANAGER is the issue. Sure some employees can give bad customer service experiences but when a manager, the leader and the one that’s supposed to set the example has no regard to customer service. that’s a HUGEREDFLAG.

The only thing worse than hood is fake hood. This place is trashy. I just pulled up and made my rounds. 95% of the employees are out back until they hear and see my loud camaro and take note that I’m coming in. Mind you I’m here for a to go crispy Cobb salad and I’ve been here roughly 30 minutes. 30 minutes for a salad! In some light if I were dining in with additional persons or person understandable but I’m literally looking at my bare salad sitting on the line looks like nothing has been added there are literally 8 people here(it’s so slow I was able to walk around and count) Was just told it shouldn’t be much longer for my now 45 minute salad. Where’s the management where’s the owner or secret shopper? Not caring that’s where.

Wow! Reverse racism at its worst! Two other tables in our section getting constant refills on specialty drinks and I can’t get a refill of water? Horrible service. I live around the corner and never coming back! I work in the industry and I’m more than happy to put your place down. Yeah, you’re IHOP, and sub par even during non busy hours.

This server Caren came to take our order she was very friendly and attentive to our needs Her service was really great she surprise us in the table. It’s an IHOP… in my neighborhood… cool… IHOP is not gourmet dining, and everyone probably knows that. The service is good, food is good, so overall it’s good… not fabulous… but it’s good. I didn’t really pay attention to their posted hours, so I don’t know if this is good for that«late night munchie» or «wow is it already time for breakfast» thing or not.
