Best place for a tapestry that is a normal price and not triple what it should be. A good Tapestry for Barton Springs or Summer Night Bedspread can’t be beat. And the clothes are perfect! Thanks Ladies!

I’m obsessed with this place. I hate shopping and this place makes it all worth while. It’s trendily-untrendy: boho, native, biker, gypsy chic. This is one of the few places I shop and the first place I stop when searching for an outfit. I love that they sell local designers, jewelers, and artists. They have clothing, jewelry, spiritual trinkets, home décor, etc. Headdress also carries rare vintage finds.

This place is a bohemian rhapsody tucked away on South Lamar. Unique merch curated by people who clearly love what they do. Shop owners are often on site and thoroughly helpful & friendly without being overbearing. Yes.

I’ve been told for months I’d love this place by several people, and I finally decided to investigate… I knew *immediately* that this was my kind of boutique. First off, it smells amazing– great incense burning,(not at all overwhelming if you’re sensitive). Second, it has awesome clothes and great customer service. I like a rocker-chic look with a little bit of country/hippie on the side… it was like this store was thrown together just for me! A great combination of new and,(carefully selected) vintage(ish) items to choose from. I love it!

Catherine, one of the store owners provided amazing customer service! There were some rock star shirts, some vintage, some new. Handmade Native American leather purses. Jewelry with animal teeth, feathers, and real stone. Long flowey dresses, long sleeved, short sleeved, and tank styles.

Headdress is my favorite boutique in Austin. To me it has the trifecta of perfection. 1.) A beautifully curated collection of clothes, jewelry and accessories, 2.) an attentively put together store with lovely displays and 3.) really kind and genuinely interested sales associates. I find it increasingly rare in Austin to come across a boutique where I am actually paid attention to, which sounds a bit conceited but just because I may not look like I’m going to buy something the first time around, doesn’t mean won’t come back. No matter whether I buy something or not, all the ladies I’ve met who work at Headdress are very friendly and sweet and take time to help me out. And in turn I usually end up buying something. Cuz you have to! I wish this place all the best! It’s a gem and an excellent addition to the quickly changing SoLa scene. I’m excited to see how it grows.

Absolutely LOVE this store. The owners are very friendly and always helpful. Its always nice when there is a story shared about a piece or about the desinger. I love that they have a big range of pricing so someone on any budget can find something. There are a lot of unique, hand-made pieces of jewelry and handbags.
