This is our go-to pizza place in 78745! They deliver pretty quickly and the pies are really big! We typically order our pizzas here for our house parties and we haven’t been disappointed. We love Home Slice, Via 313, and Pinthouse… but this place is quick and delivers :) Faves: Guido Il Tutto Vegetariano

Great pizza, not as good as the Chicago pizza(I’m not biased, I’m just from there). I really enjoyed their pizza, it had a good crust, tangy sauce, not too greasy… perfect. I shall be back and I shall go after the Guido!

I’m giving Garducci’s 5 stars because it’s a 5 star pizza compared to the other pizza in 78745, which is mostly 2 – 3 star stuff. Conan’s, Austin’ Pizza, Milano are all crap and we’re not even going to discuss Dominoes, Papa John’s, etc. I order the The Guido and it’s a great pizza that is executed well. I’ve had NY pizza in great pizza joints in NY and it’s pretty damn close to NY style. I don’t care about it being NY style anyhow. I just want a good pizza joint on the south side that delivers in the 45 and this is absolutely one of the best. Southside Flying pizza is also good, but Garducci’s has proven to be better.

I was skeptical as a business traveler on the prowl for a great pizza for one. I was very pleased to learn they serve pizza by the slice — in house or to go. The pepperoni is thick slices of goodness. If your in south Austin, it’s worth the stop.

This pizza is pretty good. I’m giving an A for effort and it’s almost a 5 star review for me. Almost. I’m simply too enamored with some other pizza places in town to give the full 5 stars. I’ve also been really pleased that they are open late. Lots of pizza decisions are made in the final moments of the evening and it makes me feel a little better knowing Garduccis is close at hand.

Really great NY style pizza. We’ve tried both the alfredo and the tomato sauce base. The delivery is fast, and the prices are fair, considering how huge the pizzas are. It’s not a write home about it Home Slice or a Pieous, but it’s really yummy.

A pretty legit pizza pie! Just moved down to the 78745 zip code and on the search for all those good, quick, local spots that deliver when I’m not in the mood to whip something up in the kitchen. The other night I was craving some good pizza and turned to Unilocal for my options. Up comes Garducci’s: Good reviews? Check! Delivers? Check! Time to place an order! I called in my order and discovered you do have to order a $ 20 minimum for delivery, which means a pizza + something else. I went for the house salad and was quoted a 30 – 45 minute delivery window. 40 minutes later the door bell rings and a pizza box the size of a VW bug is delivered, complete with a piping hot pie inside. The pizza? Pretty darn tasty! Good amount of tasty mozzarella, plus pepperoni and mushrooms, nice red sauce and really, really good crust. The house salad was pretty meh — It’s just iceberg lettuce with olives, onions, and peppers. The house balsamic dressing is pretty good though, but next time I’ll just pick-up to avoid the $ 20 minimum. You know how sometimes after eating a bunch of pizza you get that not-so-good belly full of grease feeling? Not with Garducci’s. The only reason I stopped eating is because my stomach literally couldn’t handle another monster slice. No worries– there’s always lunch tomorrow!

Real ingredients, Great crust, authentic sauce, lots of cheese, cheap prices, meatballs as a side order. You’ll. Be back. It’s a big pie for a great price. It’ll be your go to instead of driving to rounders or home slice.

I don’t have any complaints with this pizza spot other than its far from my house. It’s all made to order and they even sell by the slice(made to order). The pizza is up there with the best IMO. Guy who took my order was very friendly and accommodating. $ 3.50 a slice/$ 14.00 a large

We just moved into the area and decided to try Garducci’s because of the positive reviews on Unilocal and they had a good deal for a extra large pepperoni pizza for $ 14 with $ 2 off. What the heck — let’s try it! The owners were very nice, but the pizza was ehhhhhh. They claim to have NY style pizza here, but the crust is thick and you definitely need a knife and fork to eat this. They may be big slices, but its thick and not NY style. I’ve never said this before, but the pizza had too much cheese on it. I love cheese, but there was so much on it that it made us feel queasy. I don’t know how to describe it, but the cheese was very heavy, like they put blocks of mozzarella on the pizza instead of a generous handful. Also, the pepperoni tasted old, like a frozen pizza. We asked for some hot peppers, like the ones you get at Papa Murphy’s? Well these tasted like they had been left in the Texas sun for a week. I don’t think I’ll ever go back, which sucks because I love supporting old mom and pop shops.

You have no idea how happy I am that this place opened and took over what used to be a Pizza Patron. I love the pizza here. It’s my kind of pizza. NY style, lots and lots of cheese, and not over priced. The toppings are legit. They don’t skimp and everything seems fresh. The guys working here are always nice when I stop by, though sometimes I think they become overwhelmed. And I can walk there. They deliver in the 78745 zip code though if I’m ever feeling supremely lazy. Plus the Unilocal check-in offer is awesome, so definitely do that when you stop by!

Garducci’s fills a serious void in the area with previous options consisting almost solely of large pizza chains. Fast, friendly, huge & cheap($ 10 for an extra large after Unilocal coupon) they come close to hitting the mark. This NY style thin crust pizza comes with a crispy outer crust and is almost impossible to eat without folding the slices. Portions farther than 2″ from said crust simply flop under the weight. I understand the desire to keep the crust thin, but I would prefer for crispiness to extend beyond the outer rim to provide a smidge more structural integrity. The sauce and seasonings were great, the pepperoni on the salty end, but quite delicious and appeared to be sliced in house. I’m not sure if it is the cheese or pepperoni or both, but the pizza was quite greasy. I would even go as far as to say that there was too much cheese. I know saying this is sacrilege to many pizza fans, but the cheese was ¼″ thick in some places. Overall, they gave it a valiant effort and with a few tweaks could go from good to great. I would like to give it 3.25 stars, but bumped it up to 4 because I think that people should know about this place.

This place is legit … NY style pizza all the way! I am so glad my husband and I stumbled upon this little joint. We were actually headed somewhere else when he happened to see it out of the corner of his eye. We busted a U-turn and decided to check it out. The place is small. They have two stable up type tables inside the store. There is no major dining going on here. This is a grab and go or call in for delivery type of place. They have anitpasti, a sub on the menu and appetizers in addition to the pizza. There were a handful of specialty pizza’s on the menu too. At first glance I thought it was some what expensive — BUT the pizzas are all on size and that is NY style — BIG! It is hard to eat 2 slices, so when you put that into perspective it really is not expensive at all! I noticed on the menu you can order by the slice too. My husband and I agreed on the guido specialty pizza on our first visit. The guido is, «Spicy Sausage, Crushed Meatballs, Pepperoni, Black Olives, Fresh Jalapenos, Mushrooms, & Roasted Garlic. This thing is a monster!» That is straight from their menu. Honestly it is not something I would normally order, but I let my husband pick and I was actually very impressed — the Guido is a big win! I loved the meatballs and roasted garlic. The jalapenos were the perfect amount of spice and they were spaced out well so it wasn’t crazy spicy hot. I would totally order this pizza again and recommend it to others! My second visit I ordered and had it delivered. They deliver to you if you live in the 78745 zip code — that is awesome! Delivery guy was here in less then 30 minutes. I got my go to pepperoni and pineapple. This time I also put extra cheese on it because I like it cheesy! It was perfect! The crust was thin and cooked perfectly each time. I also ordered a side of meatballs with my delivery. They were nice and big, smothered in red sauce with cheese melted on. They are using quality ingredients all around here… san marzano tomoatoes, the meat, the pepperoni, cheese … it was all fresh — you could see it and taste it! Garducci’s is exactly what South Austin needed! There is not another place doing this type of specialty pizza in South Austin. I am super excited they are in my neighborhood! Welcome to the hood Garducci’s!

My wife and I just happened to be driving down stasssney and I spotted this place out of the corner of my eye! Pizza is her favorite food so I suggest we stop and eat give them a try. So I like pizza. but I’m rather picky. If the crust isn’t perfect and tomato sauce isn’t made from san marzano tomatoes I’ll turn my nose up and walk away pretty fast. I cant tell you how happy I was to find that this pizza is legit in every way. First the pizza here is huge, they only have one size and its big. One pizza is more than enough for three people so cost wise the price here I would say is on average with just about every other pizza place. The pizza is definitely the best I’ve had in South Austin. The crust is thin and crispy the sauce isn’t overly acidic and all of the topping tasted super fresh. If you live in South Austin and want good pizza I think this is the place for it! Don’t pass these guys up, I’m sure glad we didn’t.

About to fail the bar exam, so don’t have time to write a whole review yet BUT wanted to post some recent changes to the menu in the meantime: *Extra large 18″ cheese or pepperoni pizza is now $ 14 instead of $ 16 *You can get slices now! $ 3.50 for extra large slice, up to 3 toppings *Meatball sandwich is now $ 6 instead of $ 8 *Used to have 4 sauces, but now just Traditional New York and Alfredo(which is fine because that red sauce is so good you could eat it like soup…) *ALL toppings are now $ 2.50(some used to be $ 3.50) Never had a problem with the prices before, but now that they’re even lower, we come here at least once a week. Until further review, you NEED to try Garducci’s!

This is as good as it gets in Austin. Not saying that there are no other places(very few) with the same high quality of flour, and ingredients. It’s just really hard for me to write good things about pizza in the US, since I grew up next to where pizza was born. Garducci’s is outstanding! In my book, Garducci’s is one of the top 3 authentic pizzas(not pies!) in Austin. Correct type of flour, correct type of tomatoes, seasoning was very much to my liking, managing the water quality the best they can considering this is Austin, and the oven temperature seemed quite right, after tasting their pizzas. Dough was not chewy, like some other pizza places that use the same quality ingredients. I had leftovers two days later, and dough hadn’t lost taste after reheating in oven. That’s why this place stands out, in my opinion. Delicious, and the smell of their fresh pizza brought me back home for a few minutes. This is a hidden place, relatively new, that every pizza lover MUSTTRY. You’ll see what I’m talking about. :)
