This complex is so fancy. It’s a very enjoyable place to walk around and browse. However, the parking is horrendous.

If you live in Central Austin, you’ve probably seen 26 Doors, the shopping center on 38th Street across from Seton Hospital. If you take your young kids to Teo, Santa Rita, Rootin’ Ridge, or Hair’s Lair, you know where the kids want to go next: the fountain at the back of the 26 Doors. And once they’re at the fountain, where do they want to go? The Elevator. It only goes between two floors, and it feels like it takes an hour to get there. No matter: it’s a kid magnet. Don’t resist. Just let ‘em do the elevator a few times and they’ll be happy.
