This place had really great food but I am afraid they will not reopen after the Oct 3015 flooding. Does anyone know?

Couldn’t ask for more from a food truck. Po Boy was right — crunchy and soft french roll, generous shrimp portion with tasty batter. Flavorful hush puppies. Clean facility and friendly staff. I’ll be back!

So second attempt to checkout this food truck. Saw the open sign and stopped to check it out. Stood waiting for 5 minutes before getting the two employees attention to be informed they are sold out at 7:30pm. Very disappointed… for a second time. Lucky; Valentines BBQ was just done the road.

Excellent! Plenty of space to park and sit, very cute area. I had the fish and shrimp and my hubby had the fish po-boy. Batter was delicious, not greasy at all. The plate was huge! Both came with hush puppies and perfectly golden fries. Will definitely come again and recommend to others. If you are looking for fish and shrimp, try this out you will be glad you did.

Delicious! Tacos were perfectly seasoned – Bonus for the fried tortillas. The red beans and rice were the best I’ve had.

Really disapointed. Drove up and they were closed but their website says open. We talked to the lady at the Hey Cupcake trailer and she told us that they’re hardly ever open. Won’t be stopping by here again.

Love this place but they lose stars as they are not always open during the hours posted. We tried to go for lunch or dinner 3 times in the last 2 weeks during posted hours. They were not open and no sign(on vacation, back xyz, etc). Otherwise they have amazing fish, one of the only places you can get breaded(not battered) fish.

I randomly stumbled with the food truck and omg their food is fantastic. Their ingredients are fresh you can definitely taste it. You can tell they put their heart in what they make. I had the Shrimp po boy and the shrimp were big and the baguette was nice and toasted… My boyfriend had the catfish po boy and the filet was huge and perfectly fried. We will definitely go back. Also great customer service… highly recommend.

Service: Two men were running the trailer. The person taking order offered to let us substitute our fries for hush puppies. The cook brought out our order and checked up on us half way through the meal, which was nice because you don’t usually get that service at a trailer. Both men were very accommodating and friendly. Food: We were very pleased with the food. It came out quick and hot. We ordered 2 half orders of the fried fish and a half order of the fried shrimp. It came with fries, roll, tarter sauce, a lime, and cocktail sauce. The fried fish and shrimp tasted fresh and were delicious. The batter was perfect and the fish was moist. Overall I felt that the prices were very reasonable and we got quality food. Location: I gave this place a four mostly because of the difficulty we had getting to the place. We attempted to go about 1 month ago, but when we arrived at the park the trailer was closed. We called the number listed on the trailer and it went to voicemail. We also called a number we found online(which was different) and we got no answer. We also saw some other information online that the trailer was located on east side of Cesar Chavez, however, it wasn’t there. On this visit we called and a man confirmed that they were open and on Brodie.

Perfect location for a food trailer. Loads of seating. Friendly service. The food was delicious. I got the half shrimp/fish basket. The batter is simple and light; it’s effing delicious! The shrimp were big and tasty. The fish had a wonderful fresh taste. Loved it all!!!

I planned to eat here so I visited the webpage, checked the location and schedule, drove 25 minutes from north austin to brodie and it was closed. I was disappointed today. I recommend you guys to update your schedules and give a notice when you’re closed. Thank you

I will admit — the BBQ is what originally brought me to the new Brodie Food Trailer Park, but now there is another reason to frequent this little spot … FISH! Fishey Bizness is doing it up here! I stopped here for a late lunch one afternoon and ordered the fried fish tacos with red beans and rice. You can also get the fish grilled if you would prefer that. The fish was super crispy and there was shredded lettuce, tomato, diced purple onion, lime and that sauce! Take the lime and squeeze it all over then pour on that yummy sauce they provide on the side! I loved their sauce. The tortillas were great too! Overall a delicious fish taco! The red beans and rice were not the traditional red beans and rice I have had in the past but it were still good and a great side to go with the fish tacos! I love the little spot they are in … there are a good amount of picnic tables, live music some nights and just an all around relaxing atmosphere. You can also get dessert after you have some fish tacos and your hair done in the park too!

Freaking love this place! So far I have had all the fried stuff(fish, oysters, shrimp, hush puppies, french fries). The fried catfish is the best I’ve ever had and the oysters and shrimp and hush puppies are right up in there in the best I’ve ever had. I have also had the grilled shrimp and they were amazing. The po’boys and tacos look really amazing too so I plan on trying those the when I can. All that being said, the french fries need some serious work(generic cafeteria-grade fries). The portions are really big so it is a great place to share with a friend and a great way to try a few different dishes amongst your friends(especially since there is no «plate splitting fees» like at an indoor restaurant). Free beer and live music on Fridays and Saturdays is nice and the music doesn’t usually«blast you out» so you can still enjoy your meal and talk. Seating is obviously outdoors under a grove of oaks, so there is some shade but no other cover. Still great as a takeout option if the weather is iffy — just call it in! Service is great and staff is friendly and helpful.

Really good food, great gumbo just upset they had no shrimp in it for the small size and high price also my container was only 75% otherwise I would have given the place 5 stars, super friendly! Great shrimp basket and good french fries, would go again.

I would totally go back here again and recommend it to friends. I tried two dishes for variety and both were great. My first visit was a driveby and I wasn’t sold by the menu, it was when I saw other people’s food being brought out to them that I got excited. * Fresh, fresh fish and the fries were wonderful old school, medium thickness and just the right crispness. I paid $ 7 for a large one filet serving. * You can tell the sauces are made from scratch and not overly heavy * I also tried a grilled shrimp taco and it was fresh and simple. $ 2.50 *The servings were ample; my order could serve two. I took a lot home. The food park has a bbq, cupcake, and hair salon in it as of April ’15. Several tables and market lights strung through the trees. Simple, typical food truck park configuration. It’s apparent that Fishy Bizness has invested in the details with napkins/condiments on tables and a wide variety of hot sauces to try on their ordering deck. This place is worth a try. :)

Nice people but the food… meh. I’ve had the shrimp poboy and fish tacos. Both were just… meh. Nothing to get excited about unfortunately. Even the fries and hush puppies are… meh. It’s a little pricey for what it is. Boo.

This trailer is super cute. The food was very fresh and delicious. I had the oyster Po-boy sandwich that was very tasty. Great place to get your seafood craving in without having to go inside a fancy restaurant. Affordable prices and cute trailer park. Don’t forget to grab a cupcake next-door.

Here’s the review, quick and simple: Authentic and yummy gumbo served hot. Space heaters for those chilly evenings. The nicest owner who came out after my meal to ensure that everything tasted great. I will be back for more… and to try those fish and chips.

AMAZING food and customer service! I am so surprised there were so few reviews for this place(5). The only thing I can think is that people just want to keep it to themselves ;). I got the half portion of fish and chips, $ 7, and it was more than enough to fill me up and give some to my husband. I am so glad we decided to stop here on a whim and can guarantee we will make a point to return!

WOW! Let me set this up for you. Nice cool evening under trees looking at Fishey, Nutter BBQ and Heycupcake, drinking a cold beverage amongst families and friends and those that are just curious. Now for the review. Grilled fish tacos-8! Fresh tarter sauce, fresh ingredients and well prepared. Grilled Shrimp basket — 9 pushing 10. Fresh and tasty. The atmosphere and cold beverages a huge plus. Don’t forget about the live music on Friday night It’s killer. Go by and check it out. Bet you have a positvie food experience.
