Great cut, good prices, and very timely. I’m from out of town and i think i’ve found my barber.

I just moved in town from L. A so I googled map a barber and found this place so I took a chance … I met Chico very nice guy told him what I wanted and before he started he ran it back to me just to make sure, not a big fancy barber shop but that doesn’t bother me I think that’s better, didn’t have to wait long at all over all I would come back here Chicos the man!

EPB is not what I ever want again. Way too pricey for simple cuts that’s 15 $ for kids and 24 $ for adults. I can get the same basic cuts at other cheaper shops. Definitely not worth what I got.
I took my 6 y.o. son in to see how good the place was with fades, but the guy knicked up my son’s neck in several places, which made him cry of course.
Good thing he didn’t finish the work by not cleaning up around his ears. He left hair about half inch long over each ear. I’m glad he did though, I cringe to think what damage he would have done on his ears. (And my son is very good to sit still, and listen to commands about moving his head. So my son had nothing to do with the knicks.)
As for me, I asked for a simple 1 above the ears, 2 on the sides, and 3 on the top using clippers fading down over the ears and neck. What I got was a basic buzz cut using what looks like the same size 2 all over, no fade at all.
The sides do look reasonably good though, but I can clearly see a cut edge at the top of each side, where there was supposed to be a longer length on top, but that didn’t happen.
Seems he either didn’t remember to change sizes, or he messed up enough to take the top back down to the same size as the sides.
He also didn’t take the sides down to a size 1 above my ears. Guess he didn’t want to have to do any fade or clean up work around my ears either.
I won’t be returning to EPB, and that makes me wonder if this was his actual goal.

Just got a haircut today after not seeing Chico for a few months… I looked like a caveman when I walked in and Chico still recognized me… He is friendly and fast, and I have never received anything but the best fade from him. I spent a decade in the marines getting fades and I haven’t ever had a better fade than Chico’s… When I first started going to EPB, I would just get a haircut at the most convenient place for me (sport clips, great cuts, etc.), but after getting flawless results every single time I walk into EPB, I won’t even humor the idea of stepping foot into another barbershop. I would go for a year without a haircut before I would change my barber. Chico is the man!

Chico cuts my husband’s hair all the time and does a great job every time. His colleague cuts my hair (thin curly hair) and does a wonderful job. I would recommend Chico to anyone looking for a quality haircut.
