T-​Bo is a genius. I don’t let anyone else touch my hair. He has an amazing eye; he understands shapes and textures and what will be flattering. He used to come to Austin only a few times a year from New York (where he was at Warren Tricome). Now’s he’s at dye for several weeks a month. This is a big city cut in a relaxed east Austin place with easy parking. Best in town!

It’s hard to find someone you can trust with your hair. Hannah literally saved my hair after too much straightening. It was literally breaking off in places. Two years later and it is shiny and healthy once again. She is amazing at what she does!

dye Salon is amazing! Hands down the best salon in Austin. The atmosphere and set up of the salon is stylish and comfortable and the location is super convenient from downtown and right off of i35. All of the stylists are independent contractors so they’ve been in business a long time and have tons of experience. Other salons that don’t have independent contractors typically have stylists right out of beauty school and they only get a small percentage of what you’re actually paying. I started going to Hannah Heard two years ago when she fixed my bad dye job. She runs an honest and professional business. I’ve sent tons of friends to her and everyone loves her!

Was a first timer here today and absolutely loved it! The vibe is so welcoming and everyone had a smile on their face! Also my stylist Laura Jackson is amazing! I’ve been with her for 4 years and she always takes great care of me and my hair! Not to mention I have very difficult hair to work with-​thick, coarse, and highlighted. She always makes sure I leave happy! I can’t wait for all my future appointments at dye!

Emily Clay is a color genius! I got an amazing purple color ombré that I get complimented on daily.
I have thick, virgin black hair so you can imagine my level of anxiety when it came to getting color done. Emily eased all of my worries and even came in on her off day to color my mountain of hair. She dedicated so much time and energy to just me and I don’t think I’ve ever gotten that level of service anywhere in my life. The end result was nothing short of perfection.
