Central Austin Helpers

I found this amazing company by accident and because they weren’t on Unilocal I just had to share them. The first thing they did for me was to remove a half wall/​island that was wasting space in my kitchen. Not just any wall. It had a pillar on one end that connected to the ceiling and contained all the electrical wiring which made the darn thing so useful — it has outlets. No one would touch the job, due to concerns about the pillar being a support and having to reroute the wiring. Enter Clint Jackson with Central Austin Helpers — in 5 he knew where the wires went and that the beam was not an issue, and he was right. They did a beautiful job shortening the island so it’s still useful but not dominating the space. They do it all — really top quality painting, woodwork, electrical, plumbing (saved me a ton of money on my utility bill by finding a water leak no one knew about). Not to mention all the little stuff that doesn’t have a real category (installing a pet gate that was way too complicated for me — Clint was like, oh yeah, it’s done — and to think, if I had not noticed the sign on this truck next to me at the 38^th/​Lamar stoplight.. . «Central Austin Helpers». .. I might still be walking around that giant island in my kitchen!
