Beautiful women and BETTER Bbq. There are breast-​urants around but none of them have the food this place does. Even the chips and queso is above board. The best thing I’ve had here is the Spare ribs. Smoked, cut then sauced and grilled. Wow. I have been coming here for about ten years. If ownership wasn’t prideful you would see this franchised across the country.

Been a longtime customer of Bone Daddy’s and our visit last night did not disappoint! It’s always a nice experience, food is always great, service is great. Last night we brought a birthday party of 8 which rapidly turned into 13 (sorry ladies!) but our two servers were just the sweetest. Lauren M. Was one of the servers and the other (sorry I didn’t get your name) I think was in training. They were both great and very patient with our demanding group! We’ll definitely visit again. Thank you!

I love the ribs and the neaty salads at this place. Service is always friendly and even though the waitresses are dressed sexy, you can totally go with family.

First time here. Thought it was going to be like Hooters, all sights no food, BOY WAS I WRONG… Both great food and sights. the waitress was extremely friendly. The restaurant didnt have that gritty dirty feel but that of a real food establishment.

Have eaten here three times, due to the close proximity of the Hilton Garden Inn. This place has good baby back ribs, good wings, ice cold beer, and I am a fan of their peach cobbler with ice cream. Lots of TVs for sports.

Love the onion rings, the mac and cheese and the meats. Enjoy going here with my dad and grabbing a beer.

Been here multiple times with the boys and also with co-​workers and always have had a pleasant experience. Pretty decent beer selection and the servers are quick and responsive. The food is slightly expensive and is not winning any awards but it’s still enjoyable. Just don’t expect to be wow-​ed. This is NOT a «for BBQ only» destination. I usually stick to the one meat plate with brisket or pork spare ribs. I’ve had the Messy Smoked Wings too. They are huge! Lots of TV’s around for game nights with laid back ambiance. Feels like you’re in a large cabin in the woods. Overall, a good experience!

Hey, what can I say besides college football is king in Texas. Come here for some decent food, beer and college football.
The last time I was here, I had some of the best wings I’ve ever had. And if you’re not into wings, get a Violated Chicken.

I let my husband decide where we would have lunch today and it made me laugh when he asked if here would be alright. He’s not the type to usually frequent ‘breastaurants’ but hey, I get random cravings sometimes too so we rolled with it.
I hadn’t been to a Bone Daddy’s in years and I feel like their older menu had a lot more options. I’ve become spoiled to most Austin places who offer both a variety of meat and meatless dishes beyond simply a boring salad. I do enjoy salads, but there are so many things besides those they could add to the menu while still sticking with their theme and making everyone happy. How about a pimento grilled cheese sandwich, a southern vegetable plate, or possibly even a vegetarian red beans and rice? I understand it’s a BBQ place and that their main demographic is middle aged carnivores, but I think everyone would appreciate more variety.
That being said we ordered the onion rings to start with and they were actually seasoned nicely and served with a yummy spicy ranch dip. It’s a HUGE order for a great price making it ideal to share with a large group. As for my meal I got a side of their macaroni and cheese. It’s a little larger than a ramekin but the perfect amount for me. It was what you would expect. Decent, but not great.
My husband ordered the combination meat plate with brisket and smoked turkey and ate every bite. He enjoys the BBQ here but said his sides of fried okra and coleslaw were mediocre as well. Service was good though and everything seemed to come out at the right time. IE, we had enough time to enjoy our appetizer before the entrees arrived and so on.
More of a place to meet up with buddies and plan your fantasy draft than enjoy a lunch with your significant other, but to each their own. I did see they had a nice cocktail list including 4 different flavors of margaritas such as watermelon so that’s cool.

Had a great time tonight — fantasy football special.
We only had about 8 people out there but they reserved an entire room for us, a draft board, tons of food, $ 2 beers, great bloody Mary’s. $ 129
As we were drafting they boxed up all the leftovers and took care of us throughout the night without impeding the draft.
Highly recommend as your place for a draft. Much better deal than most the others places we looked at and the scenery is not bad either.

A 4 because they are what they claim to be. Good Texas barbecue, cold beer and cute waitresses. If that’s what you look for, this is the place

I enjoyed their food and if your a single gal this is where the boys are hanging out! The meat was so tender and had beautiful smoke rings around the tip which gave off an amazing flavor.
The ladies are very nice and everything came out quickly. Packed both evenings we went and good food both times. The peach cobbler, amazing!

As a former vegetarian, I don’t often do barbeque places because of the whole bone-​in aspect. While Bone Daddy’s service is a bit lacking, their barely covered beauties are friendly when they finally make it to the table, the baby back ribs are on point!
The sides aren’t where it’s at. The proteins are totally delish. In would gnaw the bones of the baby back ribs if it meant getting another bite. I ordered the two meat platter, with some overly salted okra and forgettable mac and cheese, with the brisket and pulled pork. But next time, I’ll get the ribs.

I have never had bad service nor bad food. This is hands down my favorite BBQ joint. Best total package for me with tender baby back ribs with very favorable sides spuds and beans, the pulled pork was delicious, the mac n cheese great. The fries very well seasoned. The peach cobbler was surprisingly good. Waitress very attentive smiling and nice.

I have lived within a couple miles of Bone Daddy’s for 4 years and had yet to set foot in the door until Memorial Day when my infant son and I joined a friend for lunch. I guess I was missing out!
I enjoyed the atmosphere, the attentiveness of the staff, the large number of TVs tuned to sports, and surprisingly, the kid-​friendliness. But the thing I enjoyed most was the rare combination of quality + large portion sizes!
I am 6’6″, 247 lbs., and when I pay $ 13 for an entrée I am oftentimes underwhelmed by the amount of food I receive. But not at Bone Daddy’s. The $ 5.99 appetizer of onion rings was jaw-​droppingly large. Like 24 giant onion rings, and they were good. My $ 11.99 brisket sandwich with 2 sides was also delicious and extremely filling. My friend’s chicken fried steak was the size of the plate.
My wife has always been hesitant to come here, thinking it’s the BBQ version of Hooters, and that may be somewhat accurate, but the food is way better than expected. I guess it will be a go-​to spot for dinner when I’m home alone for whatever reason.

When my husband described this place, I wasn’t expecting much with the food. I was pleasantly surprised. I had the two meat plate with brisket and turkey. They were both pretty moist. My sides were the beans and Mac and cheese. The Mac and cheese was so good.
Our friend also had the egg rolls as an appetizer and they were pretty darn good!!! I would actually come back for the food!

Easy to find location.
Plenty of parking.
Atmosphere was great.
Service very friendly.
Great place to hang out yes.
Large food portions.
Reasonable enough prices.
Lots of friendly & pretty staff members.
But unfortunately the BBQ was of barely average quality for Austin, so I certainly wouldn’t consider this place to be a true BBQ «destination».
But then if you find yourself in a sports bar then it’s probably better than your standard Hooters.

This is one of those restaurants that you dine at probably for the sake of convenience. It is located right in front of a Hilton Garden Inn NW/​Arboretum on Research Blvd., so you don’t really even have to leave the hotel parking lot to get here. It’s a large establishment, so you can host large group meals here and even have a private room.
The female staff are dressed in micro skirts with little red or grey biker-​like vests. They also wear boots and I think this look is sexy, as long as the people wearing these outfits are attractive and in shape to wear such wardrobes. This place is like a Hooters, so you can’t expect too much as far as outstanding service or food.
However, I had the smoked chicken salad and man, is that one of the largest salads I have ever had! It was good, but there were so many ingredients, the greens to non-​greens ratio was very skewed. I think I had more chicken, bacon, and tomatoes than spinach/​lettuce. With every bite, I was running out of greens to add to my chicken or bacon taste. It’s quite alright — I just thought I had more greens buried underneath all that meat. This is an entrée salad worth a try, but keep in mind that it is definitely a sharing portion, as it’s on a serving size platter.
Our group had the «Can’t Commit» sampler platter, which was very good and shared among our group of 10. It’s a hearty helping of all things fried: stuffed jalapenos, onion rings, BBQ chicken, SW egg rolls and queso.
Service was okay — they checked on us, gave us enough time between ordering and bringing out the food. Sometimes they forgot to bring the cups of water that was requested, but it happens.
This is one of those restaurant-​bars that will have those male customers that can get pesky with their eyes/​mouths/​hands, so hopefully those girls make great tips for putting up with that. Lots of skin shown, but the girls are friendly and helpful. I was the only girl here with a group of men — twice! I would pick this place over Hooters anyday — more food selection, waitresses aren’t ditzes and their wardrobe is modern. Think of Hooters-​meets-​BBQ-​and-​Bikers.

Disclaimer: BF and I came with a groupon and we did NOT realize that this was a «breastaurant» before coming in. As a matter of fact, I noted the number of pickup trucks in the parking lot when we arrived. As soon as we went in I realized what was going on. This kind of place is not my scene but for the purposes of this review I will ignore that!!!
Waitress was very friendly and very helpful, she helped us pick BBQ to order and brought out drinks and everything super promptly!
The food was awesome — super moist brisket and all the fixings on the side. We also ordered two beers but next time we are definitely going to get towers of beer and we are definitely not going to drive there so we can enjoy the whole thing!
This place isn’t a five-​star restaurant but if you like BBQ, cute waitresses with minimal clothes, and need another place for booze in NW Austin (seriously, we are neglected people) then this is the place to go!

We visited for a friends birthday and left wondering how we never heard of this place. Finally a clean place with good food and waitresses who have their ish together. We’ve yet to find a place like this that has it all! The drinks were superb and the food was hot, delish and left me daydreaming for days. That brisket. That Mac n cheese. Mmmmmm…
