I never thought I would find a replacement for East West Book shop in Seattle, but I finally have on the drag in Austin, TX. such peace. such serenity.

I’m not a Buddhist, but I collect items from this faith (fat Buddhas are my favorite since I like to rub their big tummy for luck).
They sell a huge variety of Buddhism items: singing bowls, malas, statues, jewelry, prayer wheels, and all things Tibetan you can imagine.
This place is somewhat tricky to find. It’s hidden amongst a group of small businesses. It was closer to the back of the buildings (that’s according to the way I drove into the area from Burnett Rd.).
They make most of there money off their website. That is the way I found out they were in Austin. The employee who helped me was very friendly.
