I tend to buy most of my batteries(AA, AAA, etc) & many accessories here but have always purchased my car batteries from NTB. This time I went out of my comfort zone and spent $ 150ish on a car battery for my kid’s Toyota Camry about a month ago. I have been trying to fix it up for the next kid in line to drive it and the battery replacement was part of the process(I am no car mechanic!). I had replaced a couple of pieces on the car and replaced the battery because I wasn’t driving it enough. After about 1 month, we had been driving it more frequently but probably only once per week but the battery stopped holding a charge. I removed the battery and took it to Batteries Plus to see if the battery was the problem or if I needed to look into another problem. I was told there was no juice in it at all and that«I don’t know what you did to it but the warranty does not cover a battery that is this low». I was a little confused and upset and explained that the battery had been in the car for 1 month and I did not know what happened and my visit was the first step in my investigative process. I was told multiple times that I had somehow ruined the battery and that it would not be covered under warranty. One of the staff offered to try to charge it but was sure it wouldn’t charge and, you guessed it, if it wouldn’t charge the warranty was void. On a hunch, I called NTB to ask what their policy is in a case like mine. I was told that the battery would be honored and that if it happened they would recommend getting my car evaluated for the underlying problem. He also suggested that I speak to the manager or owner of the store but I told him that I would just come back to NTB for my car batteries. I have spent hundreds, if not thousands of dollars at Batteries Plus over the years but they just lost a lifetime customer over $ 150ish. It’s crazy because they say it costs 5:1 more dollars to get a new customer over taking care of your existing customers. It’s unfortunate!

Wow just about any battery you could need including phone batteries! Just odd that it takes 5 minutes to check out to buy a light bulb. Crazy.

I brought my 2008 toyota prius in because my battery went out, got a great deal and installation for $ 200… Olivièr was the best at getting me set. Changing a battery in a prius is the most difficult thing and Olivièr really did a great job!

I took my iPhone 6 into Batteries Plus Bulbs for a new screen today. The experience was quick and easy. I made the appointment online last night, the repair was done in 20 minutes today, and I got $ 10 off because the repair was on sale. I will recommend this to others and go back myself should U find myself with another cracked screen!

I went in to buy a watch battery and found out they fix I-phones as well. My power button was broke and a repair shop on 620 said no could do and another on Anderson Mill never answers their phone. So it was going to be a PITA to mail it somewhere. Michael, the tech, had it fixed in a few hours, good as new! While there I had them change another watch battery. I was told if I bought x? dollars of LED bulbs the watch repair was free with free battery replacement for life! Well I could not pass up that deal so we have some cool color changing LED cabinet lights now. Finally the last reason for 5 stars is they checked my car batteries, one I knew was going bad(4 years old), the other, Acura said was bad, but past the test here! I did not know Duracell made car batteries. I am buying one from them for less than Autozone with a 3 year full replacement. The other employees I met were all very helpful and impressed me with their customer service.

I’ve been here several times, they’re always helpful and have hard to find batteries in stock. Got a great deal on lightbulbs the last time I was in. Just got a truck battery here and the guy helping me, Steve?, was awesome! Installed it and everything.

I recently thought I had to buy a new battery for a very old cell phone, and upon replacing the battery, it became apparent that the batter was not the problem. Returned the batter a few days later, and Brad was kind enough to replace it with no questions asked, and suggested I get a new phone.

Just had a great experience here with Brad. He took an extended amount of time to help solve my custom li-ion battery application problem. He had the tools and expertise to identify the problem, which was not the battery I brought in, it was my charger. That was great news, because replacement batteries for my device are $ 200 each. He offered advice and alternative solutions to save me money. Brad also expertly repaired an exposed wire that I had pulled loose opening my device. I will definitely come back to this location. I wish I had come here first, instead of wasting an hour at Radio Shack with a teenager who had zero electronics knowledge. Kudos to Batteries Plus for hiring experienced, knowledgable people.

Common sense would suggest that in such a specialized store, they would care about taking really really good care of their customers so that they RETURN. It’s not like I can get light bulbs and batteries anywhere else… They looked up the headlights for my car and I bought them, but they were the wrong bulbs. When I tried to return them, I was 1 day past the date on the receipt. They would not take the bulbs back, and rudely asked why it took us so long to come back. I will never go near this place again. Horrible!

Stay Away! This was some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I am a business person who has customers as well and I could not believe the lack of understanding and help I received there. I bought a battery for my niece’s car which did not fit(then they decided to do something else/AAA) and I decided to take back the battery THENEXTDAY. I was told by the manager(think his name was brad) «What do you want me to do about it?» «We don’t sell used batteries». The battery wasn’t even dirty and had only been partially hooked up for a moment. Stay Away! Get your products somewhere else like Costco, Sears, etc. I would give them zero stars if I could.

It is tough being green. Kermit the frog knew this well. You use compact fluorescent bulbs. You can’t toss them in the trash as they contain mercury. Batteries Plus will recycle them. Old batteries are toxic so don’t trash them. Old light bulbs and old batteries can find a new home.
Take them in for recycling. Batteries Plus has all the replacements ready to roll. Great service. Great staff. I love Batteries Plus.
