Their ice cream is just OK, not spectacular, but variety is the key. Bought in hand-packed containers, it is far more expensive than the store brands. I’ve been there once for a hand-packed quart, and, from the reaction I’d gotten, you’d think they’d never sold one before.

I have been eating ice cream at Baskin Robbins since I was around 8 or for 30 years now. When I was around 10 we lived down the street from a BR and walked there several times a week. My parents could not afford to indulge me and my 3 younger sisters much. But, we could always afford a walk to BR for an ice cream treat. Back in the day my favorite was Strawberry Shortcake(with real berries and chunks of cake) and Grape Ice. Fast forward 30 years — I now have a BR within walking distance from my house! They serve up one of my all time favorites Lime Daiquiri Ice and a new favorite Heath(toffee flavored ice cream w/a Heath bar and caramel swirl). I am so craving ice cream right now…
