Awful service. Subpar performance. And they have yet to have anything ready when promised. With so many options in town, there’s no way I would go back.

I’ve been going here for for about 2 years mostly due to it being close to my house. After my last visit I picked up 6 shirts. Two of them were had huge blue stains that were not there when I dropped them off. I returned and they said the owner would call me the next day. Four days later I called them back and they said they were able to remove my stains. When I went to pick up the shirts they tried to charge me a second time for them. This place has been sub par for as long as I’ve been there. They have broken numerous buttons on my shirts and constantly fail to get clothes cleaned by the times they provide me. This place is a mess with horrible customer service. I wish I had stopped using them long ago.

I office close to Austin Cleaners & Laundry, so it’s the most convenient Dry Cleaner to my daily commute. A recent drop off resulted in a damaged shirt, but AC&L notified me of the issue, tried correcting the issue internally, and contacted Neiman Marcus to replace the shirt. Unfortunately these attempts failed, but the management offered me a compensation that I believe is fair. With this level of assistance and coordination, I will continue to use AC&L and recommend them to others based on my experience. Thank you Austin Cleaners & Laundry.

WORSTDRYCLEANERSEVER! If I could give them negative stars, I would… I went there several times when I first moved to the East Side and they were constantly mis-counting my clothes — so when I went to pick-up and pay, my bill was always significantly higher than originally quoted. Final straw was when they lost my favorite little black Bebe dress. The manager actually argued with ME and accepted no fault whatsoever. Once I finally spoke to the owner of the location he agreed to refund my money… and here we are almost a year later and I have YET to be reimbursed for my expensive dress — and he agreed to! They’ve lost me as a customer and I make sure to tell everyone I know about their poor service and shady business.

I read some of the other reviews, but since I’m new to the area, and they’re right down the street, I figured I’d give them a try. I found them to be very friendly, and made some alterations for what I considered to be more than reasonable… I give them two thumbs up

Worst cleaners ever! Basically ruined half the clothes i took there and then did not spot treat the two white shirts so they set the stains in!!! My $ 43 in dry cleaning cost me over $ 400 in destroyed garments. I have filed a complaint with the BBB and am attempting to recover my money through VISA. I now drive a bit further to my old tried and true place near UT called Comet Cleaners… cheaper and never had any problems.

I go past this place everyday, and the parking(2 spots) has discouraged me from trying this business. However, having a bag of laundry in the back seat, I parked across the street and walked over. I asked the young lady how much it would cost to press 6 shirts. She said they were $ 4.35 each. My jaw dropped. I said again, «I only want them pressed, they are already clean», she repeated the price. I asked if this was owned locally, to which she shrugged and said, «Don’t know». I told her there was no way I could pay this price. I usually go to Estrada’s on E 7th, but since I live right off of Cesar Chavez thought I would try something closer. Ok guys, you have to be competitive!!! in the neighborhood you have chosen to open a business. The rich yuppies in the neighborhood are not the only folks that like to get things pressed… sometimes deadheadgrams needs a little starch under her collar. Adiós,
