Needed a place to get a «modern» looking fade that’s not 60 bucks since I’m new here so I gave this place a chance… looked kinda sketchy when I pulled up with bars on the windows but when I got inside I was served right away and the dude cut my hair almost as if he was stuck in fast forward mode… in an out in like 5 minutes with best haircut I’ve had in a while… don’t worry about it advertising flat tops and 1950 haircuts, the style I asked for was definitely right on. 15 or 16 bucks and comes with hot shave and message

I just got a barber cut here.
1) The Barber smelt like booze. I’m 51 and know the smell very well.
2) I asked to have my hair rinsed not shampooed.
The Barber shampooed my hair.
3) I go to pay and they don’t take debit cards. I had to walk to a gas station to get cash out and pay a fee of $ 2.00
4) I go to pay and the barber says 21.00. I said its 14.00. He said its 7.00 for the shampoo. I said BS on that.
Bottom line if your into a good barber cut this isn’t the place. I would recommend The Corner Barber Shop. Ask for Luis 718 501 4687 this guys rocks the dew.
This Barber Shop was good back in the day. Its now under new owner ship. You can tell just look at the dates of the reviews.

I just made my first visit to this barber shop, but to the same barber I’ve used for years (Lily, formerly of Lily Barber Shop). I can’t review the other barbers, but Lily still provides a great haircut at a great price. This location has more character than her former location, and feels a bit more traditional.
Edit on 10/​26/​2015: Lily is now across the street at Tina’s Barber Shop. I never used any other barbers at Anderson Lane and cannot comment on them.

Fran did a great job on my son’s $ 12 haircut, and did it within the 15 minute time limit I gave her so we could get to his tennis class on time! Not only did she cut his hair in 15 minutes, but somehow they managed to discuss about 10 topics ranging from video games to Native Americans! We’ll be back.

I love this place. It is an old school Barber shop where everyone is glad you came. Be prepared to be pampered. I like Fran, she could have her own stand up comedy routine. She will crack joke after joke while quaffing your hair. (She will know your hair better then you) just let her take control. I like to throw a few jokes in for good measure. Oh and the best part when you least expect it out comes the old school massager.
