There was a period in my life of almost 3 years when I didn’t see a dentist, just because I was so sick of sadistic hygienists and greedy dentists. Then I saw Dr. Johnson’s ad in the neighborhood newsletter and decided to give her a try. I was braced for a lecture because it had been so long, but all she did was kindly point out that if I got regular cleanings, they would take less time and they would be a lot easier.
Everyone in the office was friendly, the cleaning wasn’t as bad as I was expecting, the cost was reasonable, and she didn’t try to sell me any extras that I didn’t need. For example, at one visit a few years ago, I mentioned that I thought I had been clenching/​grinding my teeth at night, because my jaw muscles were sore and tight. She said the muscles did feel worked, and gave me a couple of options. She said I could get a custom nightguard, but they’re very expensive, and before going that route, I should try taking some magnesium before I went to bed. She saved me a lot of money and pain.
I had my regular cleaning and exam this morning, and as usual, everything went very smoothly. I didn’t have to wait very long to start my appointment, and both the hygienist and Dr. J were thorough but fast. The only issue I have is a bit of disappointment that they’ll be moving soon. The new location is still convenient for me, but I think I’ll miss the homey feel of the current location. I’ll update my review after I actually see the inside of the new office.

My dental history is a train wreck, and I’ve had many a dentist work my teeth. Dr. Johnson is as good as any! Staff is friendly and approachable. Dr. Johnson is informative and provides conscientious, honest and fair service.

I’m definitely a fan of this dentist. I’ve been to other, bigger offices in town, that provided terrible service and tried to talk me into proceedures I didn’t need. Doctor Johnson does not do that. Everyone in her office is very friendly, I felt well taken care of, and her prices were very reasonable. Plus her location near Mueller is very convenient. She has definitely restored my faith in dentists!

What ever you want to call her is fine, just call her and get your teeth cleaned! She’s sweet as pie, has a great staff and good prices. Location is easy to find, easy to park, never a wait to get seen.
As far as dentists go, there’s no reason to dread a visit to Dr. Johnson.
