Would not recommend for anything other than simple cleaning. Though the staff is outstandingly friendly, they lack organization. When I called to make an appointment for a specific(time sensitive) procedure I was scheduled for a regular cleaning and had to take off work to go back AGAIN2 weeks later. Additionally, I didn’t receive a follow-up call about this appointment for over a month when it should have only taken a week. When I finally called they admitted they had meant to get in touch earlier. In short: little consideration for scheduling needs.

Dr. Schaefer has been my dentist for about 7 years now. When I first started going there, my husband had to make appointments and not tell me, just drive me there. I was just that dental phobic after serious dental abuse as a child. Dr. Schaefer is very, very, very patient. He also knew how to fix something I had complained to every other dentist about. I could never seem to get completely numb. He added another medicine to anesthetic and no more zingers. Over the years I graduated to dental care with a little medication prep, then no sedatives needed, just some moral support of the hubby. Now I go all alone, no hubby with me. No sleepless night the night before. You get two in one with Dr. Schaefer: Great dentist and therapist.

I am visiting from California and woke up with an agonizing toothache – on a holiday weekend! I was desperate to find a dentist who could help, and Dr. Schaefer consented to see me. I found him to be a wonderfully knowledgeable dentist. He had a reassuring manner and put me at ease right away. He told me he preferred not to do anything invasive because I was from out of town, but gave me good advice about how to alleviate symptoms until I could get back to my own dentist. That was exactly the care I was hoping to find. And it worked! Within a few hours my symptoms were gone. Just the kind of dentist I would go to if I lived here.
