Lowe’s Home Improvement Warehouse of Austell

I’ve seen better lumber supplies stores in the pits of Hell. Inconsiderate checkout lady at the contractor entrance refused to leave her turnstile once the garage doors didn’t open… Twice! Asked her to help, said she could not. Separate doors, no one at the cashier, just absolutely lazy. Lazy. Idiots. I only hope management (who didn’t come out when I asked) actually reads Unilocal reviews and gives this woman 100 lashes with an overpriced 4×4.

Love walking around here. Just to browse or buy. They have a huge variety of flowers and outdoor depth. Staff is friendly. Everytime I go someone asks if they can help. Love this lowes

Nice staff, clean environment, and great parking. Can’t ask for much more from a hardware store. Other than that, not much different than any other lowes, but the employees are very nice.

Love the associates here they are awesome, if you have an concerns while you visit ask for the manager and see them addressed right away…

Ended up at Lowe’s on July 4^th after a slight mistake I made while assembling my grill. I won’t get into details about the problem but the end result was a stripped screw and bolt from the grill lid. There was no removing unless I had bolt cutters or a hacksaw which I didn’t have. Off I went to Lowe’s with grill in hand. I give credit Lowe’s employees are friendly and helpful. The woman at customer service saw the lid in my hand and guided me to hardware. Tony in hardware saved the day. He was able to remove the bolt. After he removed the screw, he went off and found the correct type of screw and bolt. You can tell Tony was an expert, unlike other places where the people had no clue what they were doing. My grill problem was solved quickly and I was out within thirty minutes. Note to self get a hacksaw. Second note, buy a pre-​assembled grill, screw putting it together (no pun intended). I’ll be back.

Went here yesterday and no one, I repeat NO ONE knew what they were talking about. I kept asking about perennials and they kept showing me annuals finally after the 4^th employee I asked told me where they were. One of the employees was quite rude. I asked her a question and she mumbled an answer and after I said «excuse me I didn’t get that» she got a attitude with me and just didn’t want to help me at all. I was practically walking around the garden center clueless and not one person asked if they could help. Never going back after this horrible experience. I was there 2 hours because no one would help and kept telling me false information.

With Home Depot right next door, there’s competition in the deep woods of Austell. Which hardware store is the best in this area? Despite Home Depot being an Atlanta company, I like Lowe’s.
The selection and prices look about the same. Lowe’s has a ton of stuff related to home improvement. You can even order online and pick it up from the store. I find that convenient.
Also, the employees at Lowe’s seem very helpful and courteous. They always seem eager to help you and they have gone out of their way to help me look for stuff or do things for me. I do like the customer service aspect of Lowe’s.
