I went to get my hair dyed hombre style… I took 4 pictures of what I wanted, subtle lowlights… easy. Nicky /​Julie (the owner that goes by both names) BLEACHED my hair. All of it. I had to go to a REAL salon to have it fixed. Don’t waste your money here.

The only reason why I’m giving these people two stars instead of one is color selection and at least my pedi looks nice. I will never go to that salon for a manicure again. I went with my mom to get mani-​pedis before a trip this week.
The place has really bad ventilation and the girl who did mine didn’t speak English so communication was nearly impossible. I can overlook no communication and to a degree bad ventilation if the person doing my nails does a good job. She did not. She couldn’t do the pattern my mom requested, so they compromised.
My taste, on the other hand, is relatively simple: a plain shellac nail. Just cover the nails entirely, that’s all I ask. She couldn’t do that! Instead, half of my nail was still uncovered, despite my repeated statement through the other girls: «Hey, make sure she covers my nail.»
She not only did precisely what I didn’t want, she also filed my thumbnail badly. I saw snags on it!
Oh and one more thing: a few hours after I was done, another nail broke! Shellac nails aren’t supposed to do that!
Edit: stupid me, I went to try and get I fixed. They made it worse! They cut my already short cuticles. Not only is the coloring uneven, but now the shape is wrong. I cried twice on my way home and nearly cried in there. Oh and apparently, unless you pick ratchet colors, you’ll get old paint that may not be so good.
Knocked it down to one.

I have patronized this business for many years and have had good quality service. Today will be my last visit though. For the last few months, the quality of services has taken a downhill turn. Examples: a haircut shorter on one side than the other. I returned and it was fixed. Repeated instances of toe
nails filed slanting in one direction. Waxing with multiple hairs left behind and wax left on my face. The concept of applying wax in the direction of growth and removed against the direction of growth and holding the skin while removing the wax strip seems lost. Today wax was dropped in my hair. One major difficulty is the inability to communicate effectively. On the plus side, they are pleasant and willing to fix anything. I would just like it to be done right the first time. The foot scrubs are done well.

Really nice people and they do great work for reasonable price!
