As someone that launders his shirts weekly, and that professionally cleans his suits often, I feel that my customer experience at this dry cleaning service is noteworthy. While ruining one shirt doesn’t make a professional service subpar, it certainly does when that service blames the customer for that shirt being ruined. Here’s where I inform the Unilocal community that I hadn’t worn this shirt yet, as it was recently purchased: I merely wanted this shirt to be cleaned and pressed for a presentation. Regrettably, this cleaning service ruined this newly purchased French cuff dress shirt, a high-quality dress shirt no less. When I politely expressed my concern about the brown stains on the shirt’s cuff, I was told that I likely stained the shirt prior to it being cleaned. In addition to this deflecting comment, the attendant said I should wear the shirt regardless, because no one would notice, and then take it back to cleaned. Perhaps after a few cleanings, she insisted, the stain would fade. I was appalled. I expressed my discontent. Validating a customer’s concerns isn’t practiced at this business; taking ownership for a mistake isn’t a principle to which this business adheres. Even though this dry cleaner promotes quick turnaround times, it falls short in customer service. Avoid this dry cleaners at all cost. Will never go back to this cleaners even though they are a mere 30 seconds from my home. I should be able to give them a negative amount of stars! 1st ruined shirt: black dress shirt burned where the pressing machine clamps onto the shirt just below the collar on front of shirt. They refused to refund cost of shirt and I was given in-store credit to use. 2nd ruined shirt: white dress shirt that they somehow stained. They were nice enough to tell me when I picked up the shirt that they ruined it. I told them I did not want in-store credit this time and wanted them to pay me the price of the shirt. She stated she would have to talk to the owner. 3 weeks later(!) they finally paid for my shirt. 3rd ruined shirt: there were 2 of my roommates shirts in the batch cleaned where they stained my 2nd ruined shirt. He does not where dressy clothes too often so the shirts remained in the dry cleaning bag for approximately 6 weeks. He pulled out one to wear to a wedding and lo and behold it was stained in the same manner as my shirt was. I returned to the cleaners and they REFUSED to do anything about it. Now, I understand 6 weeks had passed but come on! They had already ruined 2 of my shirts and even TOLD me about the second one before I saw it. This shirt was in the batch with the second one they ruined and it was stained in the same exact way! I considered myself to be a good customer, bringing in shirts WEEKLY… they obviously disagreed as they had not an ounce of compassion. I now drive right past them and head down to the dry cleaners by Safeway!

I’ve gone to this cleaner several times now and they’ve always done a good job. I had a pair of pants mended there as well, and I was happy with the work. They do a next day service if you get your clothes in by 9am that is useful to me.
