Great Clips

A couple weeks ago I was in dire need of a haircut. I was in what I call a boredom slump. My long layers had grown out and my hair had pretty much become one length. I felt like my hair was dragging me down. So I popped into the neighborhood Great Clips. Scrolled through some photos on my phone while waiting my 15 minutes.
My stylist was great. She actually listened to what I wanted, addressed the issues with my hair being heavy, and even remembered that I couldn’t see without my glasses. Now I have body to my hair again and layers. The bangs I insisted on would look great if I remembered that with my natural hair color of dirty blond that I need highlights to not look like I’ve gone weeks without washing my hair. Since my only complaint is because of something the sylist could not control I give her two thumbs up!

I almost gave up on returning here, until I met Quincy. She asked me detailed questions about my hair, and the results so far have been much better than since I started. This is not to say that she is the only best salonist there– rather, she is the best one for me and my crazy untamed hair!!! Thank you Quincy for making me believe that you guys are indeed awesome!!!

They can definitely work on their phone etiquette. When I’m more polite than the business I’m calling it says something about the customer service standards.

Walked in and was immediately seen to, which was great. The lady asked what I wanted done with my hair. I told her I wanted done. Simple enough, she sounded confident she could do it.
First, they don’t wash your hair. They spray it down with de-​tangler and water. Half way through my cut my hair was dry, full of static, and the clipped hair was clinging to my head.
Second, she parted my hair down the middle when my natural part is to the left. I mentioned it but she said it would be fine, she knew what she was doing. Once the cut was done and my hair settled only one side of my face is OVERLY framed and uneven, thanks to where she parted it.
She didn’t ask me a single question, no small talk or conversation. She keep jerking my head around, and pushing me around the chair for her convenience.
I was no impressed, and will likely need to see another (GOOD) hairdresser to try and fix the mess she made. Now I am out $ 15 bucks, and need to spend more.

I’m very happy with all of my experiences here. I recommend Chris, he was quick but thorough, gentle, friendly and most importantly translated my mumbling into the exact haircut I wanted. All for a low $ 14, thanks!

Pretty much my «go-​to» clipping joint. I have never walked away dissatisfied, and If I ask for Marcus or Dez, I am more than satisfied.
