Not the average bar. By far one of the best chill spots to go and grab a drink. The craft drinks are always seasonal and worth a try! Favorite place when going out in Augusta.

This place was a nice change of pace, as far as happy hours go. Sure, there’s not really any food, save for bar snacks, but that’s part of the charm. Also, the all-wood interior is pretty cool, as are the chairs/couches to which you can move with your party. Parking is a bit sparse, but if you get there outside of busy times, you shouldn’t have a problem.

Great spot for drinks after work. Wide selection, reasonable prices, friendly staff. Not familiar with their late night service.

The interior of this place is nice and cozy, with just the right amount of seating. I enjoyed the outdoor patio as well. The crowd was split between locals and GRU students so it was interesting to see their interactions. Prices are fair and people were generally nice, outside of the usual obnoxious person who had a little too much early on in the night, as is expected of any neighborhood watering hole.

CREDITCARDFRAUD multiple times when I wasn’t in Augusta. They stole my number and I’m not from there and used it a YEARLATER. Also horrible service, the owner definitely didn’t graduate from college and they literally don’t even know how to make a vodka soda. If you go here(which is literally the worst decision of your life) use cash because these people are sleaze bags(mostly talking about the owner).

Fun Place. They have really good whiskey drinks and a couple of craft specialties. Atmosphere is pretty good. You can tell it’s the trendy spot for the 21 – 30 crew. I love the outdoor seating and change up of specialty drinks. The bartenders skills are hit and miss(I like consistent drink making when I frequent a place) but usually make a pretty decent beverage.

Totally cool place. No drama. Nice atmosphere good drinks. Comfortable places to sit. Nice lodge décor. I’m coming back soon. Service was quick and friendly. 20s to 30s crowd on a Friday night Good music playing and not too loud that you can’t talk. Very clean too.

I’ve returned to Indian Queen a couple of times since my last review. While the pricey drinks haven’t changed, I think I initially undervalued the the atmosphere. It really is THE reason to come to IQ, not the drinks. The weather was nice today and sitting outside on the huge porch was so relaxing. I also noticed a nice TV in the bar that’d be great for watching games in smaller groups. The bar needs to work on their beer and liquor selection.

Definitely not your downtown augusta type bar… so far the classiest bar I’ve been too. Dress code for the most part is dressy, so if you feel like dressing up a bit this is the place… which kinda confused me at first cause I usually don’t dress up to go to just a bar… drinks were cheap and strong. My red bull vodka was 4.50. Music was not my cup of tea, idk if this is every weekend, I went on a Friday and they played Etta James type mixed with country so no dancing. Can get very crowed, parking sucks. Overall good to just hang out and meet new people.

Love this place. Probably the only classy bar in Augusta. It gets very crowed on the weekends, but that’s because its such a great place to hangout. They need to add some darker beers, like a Sam Smith Taddy Porter or something besides just IPAs. Otherwise still a great place.

So, here’s the scoop on this place. It has its definite pros and cons. Let’s take it old school and make a list Pros — Comfortable log cabin atmosphere with a roaring fireplace in the winter. Bring your snuggie, it’s that warm of an atmosphere. — Good service from the folks behind the bar — Food truck in the parking lot on weekends. Their food is no joke. Try the Chorizo Buger. It won’t change your life but it will certainly change your night. — Pretty respectable clientele. Cons — No draught beer. I repeat… no draught beer. How… — Can be a little fratty at times but that is a small gripe really. — Parking can be a little cramped to say the least. Overall though it is a great option for a night out in Augusta. Will I go back? Fo Sho.

I visited the Indian Queen the other day to grab a few drinks. To my surprise, the place was packed, but mainly for the Georgia vs. Auburn game. The ambiance is that of a upscale cabin in the woods. It’s cozy with couches inside and outside. The outside area has heaters in case you want to sit outside and enjoy your drinks. They has some drink specials on the wall. Most of them featured whiskey. I tried a drink with maple syrup. The name escapes me, but I enjoyed it. They also have an upstairs area, which I didn’t visit. The staff told me that there is more furniture, but no TVs. This is a place I’d like to visit again with more friends and absent of screaming sports fans. I don’t really follow it, so… The only drawback that I can see is the parking. There’s a small gravel lot and a few spaces directly in front. So, get there early for good parking.

Came here with some friends. Bar wasn’t super busy but the bartenders took forever to make drinks and charged us $ 70 for one round on accident. Spoke to the manager about fixing it and was not concerned or friendly about refunding the amount. I would recommend going somewhere else.

I really really wanted to like this place. Let me just get that out there. We were in town to celebrate my best friend’s white coat ceremony and were out on the town to have some fun. We heard some good things about this place so we decided to check it out. The good: the place is cool, it has that going for it. Its got this log cabin feel and its super clean and unique. Also the reviews are great which makes my experience that much more terrible.(maybe this was because I am not local?) The service was appalling. We were totally ignored at the bar– it took forever to get a drink and I had to move around a few times for someone to even acknowledge I was standing there. The bartender was cold and aloof. I was totally surprised by all of this. When I closed my tab it ended up being over FOURTIMES my actual bill. The manager actually closed me out and he just dropped the receipt and left. Thats when I saw I was charged over $ 70 bucks for a tab less than $ 20 bucks. When I finally got someone to come over and change the mistake they had apparently already run my card and charged the $ 70 or so bucks. He also just didn’t give a crap about the mistake and passed my card along to another bartender to fix the mistake. There was no apology or concern for overcharging by such a gross amount. I was just really disappointed in this place and the way they treated me and our group. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

One of my favorite places in town! They don’t serve food, which is totally fine, because their drinks are delicious enough to compensate. Ask for some Chex Mix if you’re hungry though! And every now and then they have a food truck in the parking lot, but don’t bank on it. They make cocktails fresh, which is really unique for a bar in Augusta. The bartenders are really friendly and accommodating. Clean bathrooms, an excellent porch with comfortable seating, indoor balcony, and a fireplace for cold winter nights. I think they have a daily Happy Hour until 7PM – $ 1 off everything. Definitely recommended!

The drinks have FRESH ingredients. The bartender picked the mint in front of us for my friend’s mojito!

Love the atmosphere of this place. According to my Augusta-local tour guide, this building used to be a gun store, so the Indian Queen kind of feels like a bar inside of an old-timey cabin, if that cabin was clean, smelled good, and had a full bar, but you get the idea. I initially stuck with a classic G&T, but after tasting my tour guide’s mojito, I knew that’s what I was getting next. It’s not your average bar where a drink that involves muddling and fresh herbs is a must order, but here it definitely is. They actually had a pretty impressive stock of mint and other garnishes(fresh cherries, strawberries, etc) for a place where the most expensive drink off the cocktail menu tops out at about $ 8. I will say that the female bartender’s mojito making skills were not *quite* as good as the other guy manning the bar, but it was still a surprisingly good drink. Though it was still pretty dead around 9:30pm on a Friday night, business began to pick up when we left about an hour later, and my tour guide told me it’s usually packed out come 11pm or so. But before the crowds arrived, it was a good spot to get a night cap and chat.
