Great service, fantastic food. Granted, first night in town with a group. team enjoyed short ribs, pork quesadilla, and chicken special. All highly enjoyed the complex flavors. I had pintxos korean chicken, which was delicious… marinated chicken, flavored cream cheese, scallions, a soy sauce Asian inspired sauce to dip the light small plate item. Paired with the house, field greens salad… for a late evening dinner. perfect! Prices very reasonable… all of my group had tabs below 20.00. Give this place a try… its a gem.

We just attended our fourth beer pairing dinner at Fuse Augusta. They just started this monthly tradition in December and each one is getting better. The menus are seasonal, eclectic, and most of all, they are inspired. In fact, one of the best things about these dinners are the stories that Chef Eric shares about each course. These inspirations stem from childhood memories to Mexican dive bars. If you haven’t experienced a beer pairing Tuesday night at Fuse, it is a must for any foodie’s to-do list. Chef Eric has paid homage to Cinco de Mayo, The Classics, etc. We are hoping Chef Eric continues this for an Oktoberfest beer pairing night.(hint, hint) This restaurant is hands down, the best restaurant in Augusta. It checks the box for unpretentious fine dining, date night, family night, and great weekend brunch. Chef Eric brings amazing variety to ever-changing, seasonal menus and the staff always creates a hospitable atmosphere. As impressive as the food and beer menus are, DONOT overlook the seasonal cocktails. The mixology that takes place behind the bar is just as genius as the food. Victoria handles house-made infusions and she is brilliant at it. The thought behind the cocktails are just as refined as the beer offerings. Fuse Augusta offers the best experience to suit any situation. We have eaten in nearly every locally owned restaurant in the area and we will always recommend Fuse as our top choice.

Had dinner here with a group recently and I enjoyed it. It was a Thursday, so it was half off beer($ 8 or greater) which was nice since this place is a tad pricey. They offer some apps and small plates, which were good but they aren’t lying when they say small! Their drink menu is very large so there is something on there for everyone! The restaurant/bar is on the smaller side so I would think there may be a wait on weekends. The food itself was great! I had the lamb burger, and it was truly one of the best burgers I’ve had. I typically don’t care to pay $ 15 for a burger, but in this case it was worth it. Each bite had a TON of flavor. The pita chips that come with it where good as well. I’ll definitely be back for the burger. The also have beer infused ice cream, which was tasty and something you can’t get most places.

I ate here for the first time recently during a Unilocal meetup. I truly had a TREATYO’SELF experience. Seriously, it was insane. The menu has their staples and a lot of rotating items: fresh catch, poultry special, etc. They have a really long beer list, cocktail menu, etc. Seriously, there are so many things to choose from. It was slightly overwhelming. I started off with a Blackberry Mint Martini. I wouldn’t say it tasted like blackberries or mint — just alcohol. It was really strong. For dinner, I ordered the poultry special. It was pretty good. Although the pesto veggies lacked pesto. I think next time I’d like to try a burger. My party raved about the lamb burger. I tried the pita fries and THEYWERESOGOOD! Before dessert, I ordered a second martini. TREATYO’SELF! I liked the Cucumber Refresher wayyyy better than the Blackberry Mint. Lastly, for dessert, I ordered the Mexican Pot de Crème AND the Muscavado Sugar ice cream. The pot de crème was okay. The chili flakes were super salty and it was a strange combo of flavors. The ice cream was amazinggg! Overall, I had a great time at Fuse and I’d probably go back. Next time, I probably won’t treat myself. Lol

Feel bad about dropping the rating but I had to do it. more on that later For 2 apps, 4 beers and 2 entrees look at $ 90 with tip. I wish I could remember the name of everything but I cant. We had a pork belly appetizer and it was a nice thick piece of belly that was cooked till it fell apart in the mouth. It was really good just on the salty side. The other app was some steak with a quail egg on top. That was about as good of a bite that you can get. The entrees we got the seafood special of the night and a vegetarian pasta dish that chicken could be added to so I added chicken. The pasta dish was very good. well except for the chicken. You could tell the chicken was cooked and chopped earlier and sprinkled in. Its texture was off, the meat really had not flavor. My suggestion is don’t add the meat option the meal is just fine how it is. The seafood special was $ 25 but man was that seafood good. You can tell he has a good source for his seafood as you can taste the freshness. Take note that Thursdays are half price beer, beer must normally sell for more than $ 8 a glass with a purchase of entrée. really not a bad deal Now for the down side. The service was poor. very poor to be honest. I was with a larger group but the wait for the drinks was ridiculous. 2 beers took 10 minutes to get. Service usually accounts for 2 stars and they lost that. Why 4 stars? The food IMO saves the day by picking up a bonus star. Still great food but the front of house needs some work.

Came here right has the brunch menu was ending around 3pm on a Sunday. We were able to grab a bench outside which was great! It was such a wonderful day! We checked out a couple of apps– the feta dill dip(taziki sauce like), duck p–(I can’t remember what it’s called) and the peri peri chicken(yummy! My favorite!!) The winner. Which was unexpected. Was the pita chips!!! They were crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside.mmm. For entrees, 3 out of 4 of us ordered the lamb burger. Overall, it was good, but a little bloody, and all red when I got to the middle. I know lamb shouldn’t be overcooked, but sometimes it’s just mind over matter of me. Overall, pretty good, and I would return to check it out again!

This place was alright. Unfortunately, it’s not as vegan friendly as I was led on to believe. However, their vegan skillet is pretty tasty(sans mushrooms for me)! I could have done without the sautéed spinach on the side, though. It was like it was sautéed with some white wine or something — and it had kind of an odd taste. Otherwise, it was essentially potatoes o’brien with a couple of extra veggies. It was good, though I’m not sure I would return. Maybe I should try their dinner menu to round out my impression…

Loved loved loved my experience at Füse! The service was great and everything seemed well run. However, my favorite part had to be the drink selection. We tried several of the specialty cocktails and beers. They even had beer floats, which I haven’t been able to find in Augusta do far!

What a delightful restaurant. Easygoing, casual — lots of beer choices! It was $ 3 beer night on select beer.(They serve wine also). I ordered the Delicious lamb burger. Highly recommended! :-)(Saw that on Unilocal). It comes with fried pita chips. FAIRWARNING… it’s ADDICTING… FOODCRACK. THEYAREGOOD!!! I normally don’t eat a lot of fried food. :-0 My friend ordered the Cuban Pork tenderloin. She let me have a bite — it was the most delicious pork I have ever had. Tender & juicy. She also has peanut and shellfish allergies. The waitress was VERYGOOD, and made sure the kitchen knew of my friend’s allergies. Relaxed, fun atmosphere. I would definitely go there again and with a group. Service was AWESOME.

I’m glad that I was in good company tonight because the service was not so good. I’ve been here a few times now so I know it can be great and has been so maybe because it was busy and a Saturday night. Now onto the food, we tried the dip of the day which was a peri peri chicken dip served with pita chips and it was delicious. We ordered another order of pita chips to make sure we scraped everything out of the bowl. I would order that again. I got the lamb burger and it was delicious. So many interesting flavors that just worked so well together. I snuck a bite of a friend’s pasta and that was so good! We then tried two of their homemade ice creams and I can’t for the life of me remember the names. The bacon one had a strong beer taste, but the after taste was amazing. The second one(possibly something with a wizard in the name?) was SO good and we agreed that we would order a pint of that one, it’s that good. One last note, I told the girl I was working so couldn’t drink so she had the bartender make me a mocktail and it was delicious! I would actually order that again, as well. This won’t be my last time here just hope the service is what it normally is and not like it was tonight.

I want Fuse to succeed but personally I need a bigger menu to hook me. I realize the concept of the restaurant is a small, quality, frequently changing collection of dishes, many of which have foreign influences. I think this is a great idea, however when I’m debating about where to eat with my roommate, we’ll usually opt for the safer and more consistent places. Hopefully most folks are more open minded than me and appreciate the type of restaurant that it is. That being said, I have not had a bad meal there for both brunch and dinner. You’ll find a few tap handles that you don’t see anywhere else, and taking a chance with something on the menu has proven to be a great bet every time. I went a few times when they first opened, and service was just about perfect even then despite the apologies of our server; I can only imagine it’s smoothed out at this point. They have a couple of beautifully finished picnic tables outside with bottle caps pressed into the end grain, where I had the pleasure of nursing a Sunday morning hangover with black coffee and a very filling plate of Thai Benedict. If you’re the type of person that reads up on a new place in Zomato before eating there, you’ll probably like this place. I just worry for their long term survival competing with more traditional restaurants.

Very eclectic place. Friendly service. Absolutely amazing stuffed French toast. No kidding our group nearly fought over the last piece. There’s a vegan brunch plate [sorry I can’t remember the name] but it is outstanding! I’m a meat lover all day and twice on Sunday but I will definitely order that again.

We will definitely be back! The food is superior and will have your taste buds singing. The menu changes but has a few regular items. The chef special was a beef short rib lasagna. I shared but didn’t want to. Everyone in our party of 6 ordered a different item and we all shared bites. Everyone’s food was outstanding.

Good, but not great. Food was pretty well spiced and flavorful, but a bit pricey for what it is. They were also out of most of the ice creams and the ones we got were just ok. The waiter had to go back and forth three times to confirm which ice cream they DID have. Doubt I’ll be back.

Went a couple of weeks ago around 5 in the evening for happy hour and was overall unimpressed. Happy hour beer menu was limited and the wine list was overpriced for low quality(i.e. cheap) wine. The worst part was the bar menu that they offer. Pinxtos are ridiculously small(think 2 – 3 bites per serving). They’re decently tasty but not at all worth the money. You’d need at least 2 – 3 orders per person to even whet your appetite. All in all, with spots like the Hive and Craft & Vine, there are much better places to go for happy hour downtown.

Oh boy… here we go where I’m the debbie downer. I popped in for an afternoon cocktail and bite. I realize they only have a small«happy hour» menu and very limited happy hour price items. I look over the drink menu and it’s clear to me that whoever designed it has a sweet tooth. a cocktail menu should have something for everyone, sweet, salty, spicy, classic and fun… this was sweet, sweet, sweeter, etc… I struggled to pick one and didn’t finish it. He suggests a habanero drink on the menu so I say ok. Yes, it has a habanero flavor but nothing to contrast in the mix as to make you want more than 1. The mini menu left me really unpleased. I ordered the pork item and it was delivered to the wrong people at the bar… they brought it to me. The pork was so bland, it was not a successful item at all. The salad was another failure… WAY overdressed greens with what was supposed to be a «soy» type dressing. I have no idea how you can have a soy dressing on a salad while it’s screaming for salt. The beers on happy hour were, of course, not the ones I would order… so, I got me a regular beer. I didn’t feel like waiting until the regular menu was available since nothing sounded good to me. I paid and left… As a side note I got to watch internal drama while hanging out… take it off the floor people, very unprofessional. And props to the brand new bartender(new to this place) who pulled the gun holder off the bar and cleaned it. Such an often neglected item that can be full of bacteria! He will loosen up with time I’m sure… I hope this was a one off. Füse… just seemed fussy to me. I’ll try it again and if I’m all wrong… I’ll be sure to update this!

I stopped in here randomly on a Sunday night with my mother after realizing the restaurant we had intended to go to had a very long wait. I’m so glad we ended up here! My mother had the pecan pâté appetizer and she said it was absolutely delicious. I had the pasta dish on the menu– with a cream sauce and mushrooms and it was divine. Soo good I didn’t want it to end. And, the portion sizing was perfect. They had a very large beer listed(printed) which had a really good variety. And the cocktail menu! While I didn’t try any, I intend on coming back to try a few of them! I’d definitely recommend to friends.

Came here visiting from Atlanta while on Christmas vacation with my husband. First of all– what a luxury to get immediately seated for brunch at noon. That’s a luxury for us Atlantans for sure. I ordered the Shrimp Benedict, it was pretty tasty! My husband ordered the chicken tortilla dish(forgot the name!) and enjoyed it as well. He was especially impressed by the $ 3 Founders Breakfast Stout. I know if we lived nearby we’d be here all the time. Service was attentive and pleasant. Would definitely recommend!

Talk about first impressions, My first time visiting the«FR&Bar» was so much fun. Big ups to our server Warren. Warren is awesome and fun. He is 50% of the reason we had a great time. The overall experience made for a great evening. It was first Friday and the crowd so diverse. Let’s talk food. I tried the pulled pork with pimento cheese. I was feeling adventurous because I’m not a big fan of pimento cheese. Glad I did, it is so good. I’m getting that again the next time. The salami served with quail eggs was different and very tasty. This place has it going on, and those are just the pintxos(appetizers). My lamb burger was very good it is a no fail choice if you can’t decide on something. The special ice cream flavors will excite the ice cream lovers. If Warren is around he seems to know a lot about the ice cream flavors and process. I do wish the dinner menu offered more choices. The excellent beer options makes up for the lack of food choices. It is nice to see more fine beer choices being offered in this area. I’m returning real soon.

Ambience. A Service. A Food. A Price. A Fun place for brunch. Love the Bloody Mary with bacon and a pickle. Ask to make spicy if you like spicy. My friends say the food was delicious. They cooked perfect eggs with a lively runny sunny side up egg in the brunch. The menu also reflects many vegetarian options. I call this a big city menu! Hah! — — — – Came for dinner on 12÷11÷15. My dad was surprised when each bite of his pork stew had enough meat in every render bite! You know it’s good when the old man lifts the bowl to get every spoonful of the stew broth! The beef ribs were fall off the bone and slightly tangy Bbq sauce. Not over powering sauce. And just right! Love the pintxos. Nice portions of tender meat. Love the salami with fried quail egg! Finished off With the free Unilocal offer for the beer ice cream with bacon. It’s different ! I recommend! I’m a fan!

I never leave reviews for anything… This is the best food in Augusta. Don’t come here if all you can stand to eat are PBJ’s, potato chips, and Nutella. Your taste buds must be warmed up like a middle aged lady or else you won’t be ready for what will happen inside of your mouth. From the drinks, to the pintxos, to the entrees, you must prepare yourself like dwarves prepare themselves for war in middle earth. Be warned. Your life is going to change.

Apps go for $ 3-$ 5, entrees go for $ 11 to $ 18, and ice cream is in the $ 4 range. This place has great food and a good beer selection. I near fainted when there was PRINTED beer menu. Other beer heavy restaurants need to stand up and take notice of that. That printed menu nearly sent my heart a flutter because I oh so hate the tablets and tvs and phone apps to select beer on. Makes it so easy to select. One thing I will warn is if you have a light lager fan then you may want to keep them away because they will be unhappy with the beer selection. We decided on the pear and cheese app, we got a lamb burger and a Seafood Creole for entrees, and we got a scoop of bacon bourbon stout and a scoop of a pumpkin and beer ice cream. The pear app was pretty good and the one thing we really appreciated the attention to detail on was the crusty piece of bread. It was toasted correctly as in you got a slight crunch so it was easy on the mouth. The lamb burger was the best lamb burger I ever had. Juicy awesome lamb flavor. The creole dish was very good as well. The grits were the best grits I have had. The sauce was great and the mussels perfectly cooked. The sausage I am unsure of. I know its made in house but maybe its the texture being too tight but it has a chew/taste of mass produced sausage which I don’t care for, but overall the dish was great. The ice creams we tried had great flavor again my issue here is the texture. The texture of the ice cream is more icy than creamy and that may have to do with the beer element. All in all I am really at a 4.5. The half star loss is I really don’t care for the texture of the ice creams and the sausage. Overall thought service is great, food is excellent, and the owners/chef are very engaging. Well worth a visit.

You know it’s good, when I go two times in a row. I don’t like repetition, but this eatery is a gem here in Augusta! I couldn’t resist bringing two different groups of friends here. Open format, with large selection of beers, and a healthy and creative menu. Health conscious eaters will love it here! The only downside is the price(for the minus 1 star). Each and every single one of the appetizers is AMAZING — however, for $ 5+, you get two small bites, before it’s gone. Also, I highly recommend the lamb burger! It is one of the best burgers I have had. Flavorful, and filling. Fried pita chips taste like funnel cake(without the powdered sugar.) And if you still have room for dessert, ask for their bourbon + bacon ice cream.

Looky here… Another option for vegan brunch in town! I love it. A spacious and chill environment with multiple beers on tap and a good looking sangria. The food was yummy. I had the vegan skillet.. . definitely a creative dish. Each component– sweet potato, spinach, pico, mushrooms, sunflower seeds, and watermelon worked well together. I’ll come back for dinner and try to vegan hash next time. It’s nice to have more vegan and vegetarian restaurant options in Augusta.

Still in their«soft opening» phase, Füse was a bit quiet for a Friday night. No problem in my book! We sat ourselves and our waiter quickly came out to tell us a bit about the place and bring menus. I ordered a drink and we ordered a pintxos. The pintxos came, very good– we had the sausage with pink kraut, however my drink did not. I had only ordered a glass of Cava. Nothing fancy. My cava did finally appear, but it took WAY to long. They offer beer flights and some very fancy cocktails, 1 glass of wine should be a snap. After the cava I had the mojito, it wasn’t really my thing. For entrées we had the giant ravioli which was the vegetarian option, and the pork tenderloin. Both were excellent and served with fresh broccoli and cauliflower. The ravioli was stuffed with black eyed peas and collards. Mostly peas, I only found a tiny bit of the collard greens. It had a mushroom tomato sauce. The pork was very tender and not at all dry. They offered beer infused ice cream for dessert, but that was a no go for me. Total for 2 drinks, 2 entrées and 1 app was $ 47. Not too bad. Very friendly service, farm to table, check it out.

I dropped by Füse for lunch. It was actually the day of their soft opening. I really liked the ambiance of the place. After hearing a little history about the custom furniture by a family member, it really gives you good vibes. The staff is nice and familiar with the menu and the items used. I had the veggie hash, which was delicious. I’d never seen this type of item on any menus at restaurants before. So kudos for staying creative. The dish had potatoes, sweet potatoes, broccoli, pumpkin seeds, etc. I can’t remember all the items, but it was a great mashup. I also had a cocktail called the Mediterranean Seaside with spice rum, fig, agave nectar it was good. I also noticed a few more things that would make me visit again. The bar stools looked super comfy and the bar had a electrical outlets underneath for charging your phone. #Winning They also offer beer flights for $ 9 and a brunch, so I’m sold. They have outdoor seating with umbrellas, so great place to enjoy food and people watch downtown. Can’t wait to try some other menu items with friends and family.
