Dick’s Sporting Goods

I came here the other night because I was looking for a new pair of running shoes. I’ve never been in this store before but I was able to find what I needed. A sales associate greeted me and asked if I needed help with anything. I told him that I’m looking for some running shoes (preferably ASICS) for neutral arches.
He did recommend another brand but I really love the ASICS brand. Been using them for years. I tried out several types of shoes and he kept checking in with me to see if I liked any of them. I appreciate the fact that he didn’t hover over my shoulder or persuaded me to go with something else.
Eventually I picked out a pair of the Kayano’s and so far they seem okay. Just gotta break them in a bit more. The only thing I was disappointed about was that there were no price tags listed anywhere on the shelves on where I was looking at. Not even on the boxes or the shoes themselves. Yea, I could have asked someone but I was trying not to be a cheapo about it.
I already knew that I was going to spend some bucks on shoes so when I looked at the price on the cash register, I almost fell over. $ 159.99 minus the tax. That’s the most I have ever spent on running shoes!
Hopefully they’ll be worth it but I would drop by again if I’m looking to shop for sporting equipment.

After a terrible experience with another fitness provider, the hubbs and I went to Dick’s after we got our money back to see what we could get for our refund. We were looking at the weights for only a few moments when Daryl and Austin approached us. We were looking for weights and had three choices there. Right away Daryl was quick to point out the differences/​locks in the Bowflex, Core, and PowerBlocks. I wish we had purchased our previous machine from Dick’s as those guys were so helpful and nice and listened to my crazy questions. We ended up getting the PowerBlocks floor model. As I left, I mentioned to my hubbs that I had one of the best experiences EVER in pretty much any shopping experience.

Nice and clean… large inventory… Camping, fishing, hunting, sports, fitness.
