If this had been a few years earlier I would have no business in this store. This is a clothing store for plus sized women. Being skinny my whole adolescent life I had no need to shop here. My mother frequented this store often and I would accompany her in here to shop. She loved and still does love their merchandise.
Fast forward years later. I found myself on the other end of the weight scale and in need of clothing for a more voluptuous figure. That’s where Ashley Stewart came in for me. Offering me fashionable alternative to the straight size clothing.
I like their selection of clothing and accessories. They use to have a more matronly look to their clothing but they have gained a more youthful flare. I love their accessories!!! They are bold, gaudy and on trend. The accessories are usually Buy One, Get One 50%. They have great sales when they do have a sale. But one thing that I can complain about is there online shop.
I recently placed an order for 5 items, pants and tops. I got the package on time but on one of the pair of pants there were dark red stains all over them. I couldn’t understand how someone who is packaging them could not see this. This infuriated me!!! Then on top of that they made me take pictures and send them to them, I guess they think I was lying or something. They sent me a return label for FedEx and I shipped them back to them. It took them a little while to respond and say they received them and that they gave me back a full refund.
But a week or so later they did call me and make sure that the matter was settled. I appreciate them for taking the time out to check on me and make sure everything was resolved. Some businesses would leave you hanging and you would have to actually call them and inquire if everything was settled. Other than that problem I usually pleased with this store and its service.
