An absolutely stellar place! Very personal, invested shop with helpful employees who really hear what you and your vehicle need. My Honda car alarm would not stop sounding in my home parking lot and Erik at Nate’s shop devoted time and energy into making sure, the issue was solved! I fully believe I would have been financially swindled had I taken her to the Honda dealer. Mom and Pop, locally owned stores — that’s where it’s at!

Le me start with I am a car guy, I have done plenty of high powered stereos, wiring and every part of working on vehicles but I simply had no desire to install a remote start in my wife’s truck so I went to Nate’s and met Erik, I had already done some research around town and a friend recommended them, I had a budget to keep and everyone I checked with was way out of line on the price, or would not be able to get the job done when I needed it or get the parts on time, these guys got the job done in my price range, called me when all the parts were in, and when there was an issue with a module that was a stock part, they ordered a new one, had it in by Saturday, stayed late so that I could pick it up and stayed even later teaching my wife how to use it, the new keyless entry and remote start work great and I’m very happy with these guys, I will come back for other stuff and support this Placer County business. The only reason they got 5 stars is because you can’t give 4 ½, I gave them this rating because even though the price quoted was within my budget, it was on the high side of my budget, but that’s the price of quality and they deserve 5 more than they deserve 4.

Wow I love my new seats in my 1999 solara. My leather seats were tore up. I was so embarrassed but thanks to Nate, they look awesome. I only had to replace the bottoms although he could have said I needed tops done too, but said didn’t look too bad. Dropped it off and they even gave me a ride to work. Next stop a detail shop cuz I’m loving my car again

Installed stereo in newly purchased used car. They never bothered to see if the am/​fm worked. It didn’t…I took it back. they said it needed a new antenna and that they would have to order one. I left a deposit and they said they would call that day. They called a week later and said they couldn’t get an antenna for that car. I went by to get my deposit back and it took me 20 minutes and a phone call before they would give me back my money! Never again!

I feel ripped off. Don’t get me wrong, so far the stereo and blue tooth work fine, and the service was done quickly. But I feel violated and I’m pretty sure half a thousand dollars is too much. If I ever need another car stereo, I will go to Best Buy, and I HATE Best Buy.

This was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had. Went and got a new stereo and speakers with the promise of same day installation. At the end of the day my car was torn apart and they just couldn’t work it out. After demanding they keep my car overnight and quoted a much higher amount than previously they were asked to put my car back together. They would not reimburse for the purchase (had not charged for install yet) they put my car back together and it’s never ever been right. I went in and spoke to the owner who would offer no resolution. If anyone reads this in town, you know who I am as I paid to have magnets made to put on the sides of my car telling people «ask me how I got ripped off at Audio Image «. Interesting enough I was asked and so many people concurred they had a horrible experience with him as well. I finally retired my magnets to a guy in a pick up whose story to me was worse than mine. Horrible person, horrible customer service.

Last June for my husbands birthday we went here and bought a new car stereo and speaker kit. We even had it installed! The salesman was very helpful and I remember my hubby was impressed with his product knowledge. Sure we could have gone to Best Buy and found something comparable, maybe even cheaper, who knows? We prefer to support our community’s many great local businesses.

I went to Audio Image for a simple installation. I needed a jack added to the radio in my truck so I could directly plug in an MP3 player.
I had already been to another (highly rated) audio shop and they quoted me a ridiculous price to do the job and then tried to ‘up-​sell’ me to an expensive radio.
Erik at Audio Image gave me a reasonable quote, then followed thru with a quick and perfect installation. I would definitely go back for a more difficult job as I found them honest and delivered what they promised.
