Knee deep is an awesome Auburn gem! Really fun atmosphere and amazing beers on draft! I come here whenever I am in town and highly recommend stopping in for a beer and game of corn hole.

Knee deep has seen way better days. I started coming here about 2 years ago regularly when it was still hanging on to the micro title and it made a big fan out of me with countless badass experiences. Recently, however, I’ve come to realize that those days are long gone after leaving extremely dissatisfied and having an awkward run in with unhelpful staff. My friend and I were enjoying our own gold country beer tour when I told him that knee deep was a must stop on our adventure. We got there excited only to find out that they do not honor the dmv issued temporary id along with a picture id because it’s against Auburn\knee deep law. Honestly, just saying we do not accept this could’ve have been ok. I was not ok with a minimum wage worker stepping in and trying to recite a complicated law like a tenured lawyer. Embryotic mistake. It was awfully condensending, unacceptable, and degrading. It was awkward enough being turned away with a legal id. It was obvious that it was strictly a population control excuse, not in fact a law. Knee deep just lost a devoted customer.

We were surprised on how big it was here. Corn hole and a tv with awesome beer! We will be back for sure. Prices were reasonable too. Next time we will bring the kids and neighbors

If you like hops you are in for a treat! Over 20 beers on tap for you to try! I seriously can’t pick a favorite because they are all extremely good! It’s a bit of a trip to get out to their brewery but totally worth it! Lots and lots of really good beer to taste. I can’t say enough great things about this brewery. Get out there now!

Situated in a large warehouse with picnic table seating. Usually one or another food truck is parked right outside. Very large variety of beers, brewed onsite. Servers are pleasant, even when there is a line, which is usually.

This is a great local brewery to stop in at if you are passing through the area and want some tasty brews! I hadn’t tried a beer here I didn’t like. The staff were friendly and very knowledgeable about their current selection of beers, which they say rotate. They have a small seating area inside and another outside. One item to note, they don’t serve any food here. On our visit they did have a food truck outside. They also had some really cool souvenirs. So cool that I couldn’t leave without buying two of their 50 cal bullet bottle openers. A bit pricey but still, too cool! The place has very limited parking so you will likely end up parking in the street and walking a short distance.

Knee Deep Brewing Company is definitely a contender for being one of the highest quality breweries in the area. The brews are very solid and the tap room itself is very laid-back and not intimidating like some of the smaller tap rooms can be. Lines were pretty long on a Sunday afternoon, but the beer was worth the wait. I am pretty big fan of hop-forward brews. I really liked their Breaking Bud Imperial Pale Ale and their Lupulin River Imperial Pale Ale, both very hoppy but smooth and drinkable. The Belgo Hoptologist Double IPA was also one of my favorites, as it had a unique taste I have not had in a beer before. Simtra Triple IPA and Hoparillo Triple IPA were very hoppy but did not do a great job of hiding just how high-alcohol they were(not super drinkable). Knee Deep is definitely worth visiting if you are a fan of hoppy beers and want to drink at a place where you feel like you can stay a while.

This is a cool casual brewery to stop and get a beer. There is plenty of seating but most of it is all picnic tables. We ordered one of their seasonal IPAs because we can usually find Knee Deep’s beer around town. They were very good! I highly recommend trying their seasonal beers as well as their original recipes. I would defiantly revisit this brewery and tap room.

I actually did not visit the tap room. My friend mentioned there is a great brewery in Auburn, I immediately bookmarked the place since I am a big fan of microbreweries. I stumble upon their beer in Grocery outlet. I really like their labeling. I had the wet witty which was really hoppy but not too bitter. I will definitely find some time to visit this tap room for more beer!

Here with the grandson. He really knows these local nano brew pubs. I’m so excited to have him as a private pilot to fly me to my favorite«beer nanos» as my grandson calls them! There is n o food here. That is a bummer. But you don’t go here for the food. You come here for the«ice cold cruisers.» as my grandson says. We’re a real fish out of water here but it was refreshing to get a taste of some northwest nano power house play down here. Galatians 2:13

Knee Deep was worth the trip. All beers are worth trying for a taster dee between $ 1.50-$ 2.00 or 4 for just $ 6. Bring your own food, there aren’t always food trucks or in our case they cancelled. They have many picnic tables to enjoy indoors.

If you ever want to wade«knee deep» into the foothill beer scene, these guys are a good place to start. Knee Deep is well known around these parts for acclaimed, award-winning brews. Personally, their style of brew isn’t my cup of tea — I mean beer — but even non-beer drinkers will enjoy an in-person visit. I visited the tap room for the first time for my friend’s birthday party. Tap room it is not. It’s a giant warehouse with one large area devoted to drinking and socializing. We split our time between crowding around a table and playing corn hole, all while listening to a local band, the«Cash Cartell» band, as they revisited goodies from the 60s and 70s. I like hoppy beer, but Knee Deep takes hoppy to another level. Every beer I tried in every style was hoppier than its competitors. It seemed to dilute any other flavor. I settled on their red ale because it was the most similar to a classic ale that I tried on the menu. Beer aside(and that’s a big aside), they more than make up for it with an amazing atmosphere and a happy staff. Weekends even include a food truck and band. So give them a shot, no matter what your beer preferences are.

IPA? Hophead? Go here, you’ll thank me. 2 miles west off 80, a few miles north of Auburn. $ 4.50 pours for 16oz of a top ten IPA. A flight of double and triple IPAs for $ 6 or $ 7. Crazy good beer. Cheap growler fills. Food trucks possible nearby. Corn-holing. Picnic bench seating throughout. Shaded tables outside. Great staff. Great beer. Cheap prices. Nice location. One of my favorite breweries.

My first visit to Knee Deep Brewing Company’s tap room came on weekend when cloudy skies dominated. The brewery felt very«modern-industrial», located in a huge warehouse facility equipped with impressive-sized brew tanks, plenty of seat g and lots of interesting artifacts and paraphernalia of interest to microbrew lovers. They’ve done a great job with putting in enough thought and effort to transform an industrial space just enough to make it attractive, appealing, and a lot of fun to spend time sampling brews. The overall atmosphere generated here is of fun, brewing lore, and energetic space. I have a preference for the heartier styles, so I selected a sampler rack of the Tanilla porter, the Imperial Tanilla porter, a red ale, and an Imperial Belgian ale. All of them were quite good. My favorite was between the Imperial vanilla porter and the Imperial Belgian ale. ‘Twas a tough choice to make. I highly recommend this place for all your beer-loving friends. This is a great place to go with a group!

Didn’t have a beer I didn’t like and we tried quiet a few… ok we tried the double, triple, quad IPA’s, but still. solid Hoppy beer. The atmosphere is typical brewery with the big warehouse look, food truck outside, bean bag toss happening in the corner, you get the idea. Picnic tables provide a good amount of group seating. Food truck was really great, specialty brats with pretzel buns. I mean, can you go wrong with a pretzel bun? of course not. Believe they switch these out, but yea that particular one was very good. If you love IPA’s, what are you even doing with your life? Get to Knee Deep my friend, you can thank me later. or now. with beer.
