My favorite phở around southeast king county. Fresh, tender chunks of fatty beef and delicious broth. I barely added any hoisin to it. The avocado smoothie is the best I’ve ever had. Tapioca is soaked in brown sugar and every squishy bite heavenly. Great, friendly service!

Every once in a while, you stumble on a a «hole in the wall» restaurant that just gets it right. A place that you’re hesitant to share with others because you don’t want the secret getting getting out. Well, Joy Phở is one those places and it would be a severe injustice if I was to be so selfish as to keep this place a secret. I am not really a soup person, so I can’t speak to their namesake dish, but from what I have tried, they are very food at making everything on the menu. My favorites are their Teriyaki Chicken and Pad Thai. They’re on part with the spice scale, so if you like a 3 star somewhere else you can safely go 3 star here, they’re not going to melt your sinuses… unless you want that. What really puts Joy Phở over the top though is their service. I’ve been there maybe 4 or 5 times over about 3 months, but now when I walk through the door I am greeted like a returning friend. I see this treatment with every customer that walks through the door. That more than anything is why I think this place is a gem. Lots of places have good service, but only a very few like Joy Phở make you truly feel welcome.

The guy that runs this place is a good guy and the food is great. We go here twice a month and he remembers our order every time.

Clean place with decent phở. However, customer service was beyond horrible. That one guy upfront has very bad attitude. We eat there almost daily and I have to send back one item due to undercooked. Instead of an apology and address this issue, he gave attitude with unpleasant facial expression. Having a bad day doesn’t give you an excuse to ruin other experience. We will not go back to this place even it is free.

Was here on a not so busy day and aside from the good tasting phở, customer service is nice too. Food tastes great, clean surroundings. Will definitely be back :-)

This place had excellent customer service and the food was wonderful! My husband and I both had the green tea, an egg roll, and chicken phở. No complaints about anything. Phở was nicely flavored as well as the egg roll. I will be returning.

Very good service, reasonable prices and the food is really very good. The dining room is kind of odd for me not really that warm as far as décor and your typical phở place but the food and service make you forget all of that right away. The shrimp and chicken eggs rolls were hot, not cold like at some other phở places in Auburn. The broth super flavorful. My friend ordered the bun and it looked equally good. Overall this is my new go to Phở place

Excellent phở and very good prices. Broth is very flavorful and the service is great! Also the Bön mi sandwiches are very good, their bread is the perfect texture. I had the brisket and fatty flank phở and it was great. The location isn’t exactly high-end, but once you walk inside the restaurant is clean and nice for a typical phở joint.

My mother is in a care home closeby. When I read the Unilocal reviews, I thought i’d give this place a try. Ate here 3 times in two days. Both the chicken(my favorite) and beef phở are wonderful. The chicken bahn mi is also fantastic. Will return on my next visit.

I came here cause it was close to my house and I was fiending for that good Vietnamese noodle and broth. It had four and a half stars so I thought I’d give it a shot! I got the P-15 and P-22 on two separate occasions. Both were good! My dad’s phở tai was kind of oily, but mine which had more meat had barely any oil. Hahaha. The broth is pretty flavorful on its own. I put everything in: sriracha, hoisin, limes, basil, jalapeños, and sprouts. It was great! Fast, friendly service. The guy at the front is great. The food is delicious and cheap. I look forward to trying out the other items on the menu!

I have been back twice since my first review. The service is consistently on point and the server already began to remember what I like. I tried the gyoza and phở this time. The steamed gyoza was melt in your mouth delicious and the phở had a good amount of meat just like last time. This is now my go-to place for phở in this area. Luckily I live close so I get to go often for a hot bowl of phở.

Awesome phở and teriyaki. I love that it’s one stop shop for our family’s favorites. Clean atmosphere considering the neighborhood and great service.

The gentleman at the front counter was super nice. We did a quick to go order. The phở soup was good. The chicken teriyaki was good. My gyoza were SUPER doughy and our tapioca for our bubble tea was soft. Our spring rolls and peanut sauce was good. They can make a good peanut sauce. I don’t know if we will go back but it was a decent meal in a hurry.

When you don’t have to add anything to the broth is a very good indicator. What was unexpected was the server continually checked if everything was OK. Located in a strip mall, basically a hole in the wall type of place. Don’t let the looks deceive you. This place is legit. We ordered phở and the vermicelli bowl. Awesome food. Thank you

Nice phở! Ate here on a Saturday night, we were given seating immediately upon walking in. Our waiter was really nice, English was a little rough but he got everything the first time so can’t complain! We had #14 and #15 with fried chicken wings as an appetizer. My girlfriend and I both really enjoyed our Phở, we ordered the large size for $ 0.75 cents more, so much food, we couldn’t finish them. Phở had a nice amount of beef, veggies and noodles, great flavor, not too salty either. The tables /seating is about what you would expect for this area of Auburn, but everything looked clean. We also had the green tea, it was around $ 2.50 each but was nice. The only thing I wasn’t a big fan of was the chicken wings. I’ll defiantly be back to try the other items though, huge menu!

This place is my new phở spot. I used to go to King of Phở, but since I discovered this place, nothing in the area beats it. Their broth is flavorful, and portions are abundant. Their chicken katsu is soooo good. Perfectly crunchy and sauce is good. The best thing is their pork fried rice. Has that«just like momma used to make» taste. They use yummy sliced pork. The kiss from the wok is perfect. Rice is seasoned well. It makes me hungry to think about it. My only deduction is due to a bit higher prices than their competitors, and the crappy location. It’s next to a dollar store and smoke shop that attract hella thugs. Try this place if you are in the neighborhood.

Their large phở bowl is a good serving for me. The last time around I had their beef, flank, tendons and tripe phở. I am great-phở for their being where they are. The price of their large bowl is descent, and it is a dollar more for their much larger bowl, which you will have to ask for. Their service is always with a smile, and they are very polite, always following up to see how the food was, or if there was anything else I wanted. They also have vermicelli sandwiches, which many come in for. Good, clean and friendly establishment.

Basic teriyaki place that’s pretty OK for the quality, quantity, and prices. It’s kind of in a sketchy area though… The waiter was nice and the food didn’t take long, so I think I’d try this place again!
