Godfather’s Pizza

Fairly terrible pizza. Not much to be said, it’s just a very old and outdated establishment. We ended up throwing our pie away after part way through one slice each and went to papa Murphys.

My fiancée and I were in the mood for pizza and with Mod Pizza having a line out the door in Kent, we went driving randomly and decided to stop here.
Walking in, the ambiance is very vintage. Cost was what you’d expect, and the salad bar is epically smal but awesome at the same time.
The pizza was awesome, though. Remember that amazing pan pizza you’d get at Pizza Hut when you did the Book It program growing up in the 80s? The amazing Pizza Hut promotions for Home Alone? The Land Before Time puppets? Yes, that’s all Pizza Hut memories, but you completely feel that in the taste and ambiance here.
Definitely coming back, well worth it.

Ordered a pizza 07÷28÷15 7:00 pm to be delivered. Order time 50 mins. The pizza arrived on time, pizza was nice and warm the deliver guy was professional, the pizza was nicely cut and toppings were spread nicely on the pizza and last but not least the pizza tasted good! Will order again!

Was here the other day for the first time and last for lunch buffet. For me godfathers has the best taco pizza anywhere but here it just didn’t taste right. Salad bar was the smallest I’ve seen. There was room for more stuff they just filled the open spots with ice or double toppings like cheese and stuff. It’s the only godfathers I have seen that does not offer LaVictoria hot sauce. They have packet salsa which sucks.
Last but I’m sure not least when asking for a new plate I got this look like what for. Other Godfather establishments I’ve been to in Oregon and California have clean plates sitting out, almost like they know they have to. Lol

The only reason we went here because we had a coupon for the lunch buffet. It was terrible. They had chef boy ardee casarol and cold baked tots. The pizza was cold and had clearly been sitting there for a while.

Sorry I just ate here about 4 times in 2014 and got a sulfur taste in my mouth once or twice in 2014 after not going here for 4 years. Employees look dirty. Something is dirty or contaminated here and this place needs to be looked into by the health dept.

Okay I honest to God love Godfathers and my original review was really harsh — I am a long-​time customer (way back to when I was a kid in 1988).
But the following should be mentioned regarding their buffet:
Enough with the madness. No one wants the white sauce or BBQ chicken pizza for the buffet. And starting with breadsticks and cinnamon bread before putting ANY PIZZA out for 10 minutes is sheer stupidity.
HERE’S THE RECIPE FOR SUCCESS, FROM A LONG TIME CUSTOMER: Start the Buffett with the basics: full pies of pepperoni, Hawaiian and meat lovers. Get those loaded up so people aren’t sitting around just waiting.
Here’s what just happened today: full dining room, everyone waiting for some pizza to come up. What comes up? Chicken barbecue. People run up there and sit right back down. Same thing happens, this time it’s some sort of flat pizza with white sauce — people run up there, sit right back down.
START WITH THE BASICS FOR THE LOVE OF GOD.

Ewwww… they don’t wear gloves. We saw a worker spreading cheese on a pizza with his bare hands, stop and put his hands in his pockets while he talked with a coworker, then back to putting more cheese on the pizza. That is gross !!!

I have been here three times including two dine-​ins and for one pick up order. The service has been very good each of those times and other than the restaurant looking a bit run down everything seemed to be clean and organized.
I’ll be honest with you, the only reason I have come here is to get the oh so super amazing taco pizza that only Godfather’s can make. If you haven’t tried this pie, you have not truly lived so go get one right now!

This place was okay. We went and had the lunch buffet but it wasn’t as good as I’d hoped. If you want a true Godfather’s experience, you need to visit Omaha where it all began!

Nooo bueno. A while ago I went here with a few friends and we had a bad experience. There were I think 6 or 7 of us and some of them did not have money so they were just going to sit with us and not buy anything. (a few others were buying a pizza together and I just bought a coke or something.) Well the staff at Godfather’s wouldn’t have it. They said that the people who weren’t buying anything couldn’t sit in the restaurant and had to leave. Total bull.
Aside from that, since then I have been there for pizza once I think. I didn’t have a bad experience with the staff but the pizza itself is just deplorable. Greasy, processed, american crap. The whole place just seems dirty. I don’t recommend it.
