I LOVED my first visit to Auburn Family Optometry!
The staff provided me with excellent customer service during my visit. They were extremely pleasant and knowledgeable, and they were very helpful in dealing with my insurance company.
Dr. Odineal was very friendly yet professional, and she really went the extra mile in explaining first the process of the eye exam, and then the results.
I felt very comfortable with her and will definitely be coming back. In fact I will be scheduling the entire family with Dr. Odineal from now on.

I saw Dr Allgeir in his office. Exam went well. They also maped my retina and it did not cost me $ 38. Dock is great. However, I can only give it three star review due to the eyeglass making. They will make glasses for you. Well, was not working for me. They wanted $ 106 for bottom line quality. Girl did not offer any more glasses except the poor selection she had in a box underneath eyeglasses display. Doctor will give you a really good exam, however don’t buy your glasses here!

I’ve been going here for five years. The office staff is all very friendly and warm, not in a ‘forced friendly’ sort of way… genuine. I’ve had various staff (technicians) do my eye checks and although I can’t remember all their names, they all have been professional and customer focused. Most of my other interactions have been with their staff that adjusts and repair glasses. They all do an excellent job and give excellent advice. I usually see Adam and he goes above and beyond in doing his job. Amber is also very good, knowledgeable, professional and fun! I saw one doctor before I saw my current one, Dr. Brenda Coen. She is very good, explains what she’s doing, answers my questions completely and is very personable.
I only give 4 stars instead of 5 they probably deserve because I think their prices could be more competitive. It’s not like I have a lot to compare them to, but they’re definitely not LensCrafters or Costco prices.

I had a recent consultation with Dr. Meister on having cataract surgery for replacement lens at the Auburn Family Optometry in Auburn. As a UCLA medical neuroscience professional, I was impressed with his willingness to explain the procedure and his academic medical background. I haven’t had my procedure scheduled yet due to family circumstances.

Best optometrist office I’ve ever been to! Staff goes above and beyond to make sure patients are taken care of from start to finish all of the doctors are excellent!

Dr. Allgeier and his staff at Auburn Family Optometry are superb at their specialty — not just taking care of their patients’ eyesight, but also following-​up to ensure their customers are completely satisfied with the overall procedure: from testing, exam, eyeglass specification, production, and through to fitting and follow-​up.
Dr. Allgeier went out of his way to ensure that we were extremely well-​cared-​for and kept track of our progress through the various phases and interactions within his office, and also that we were well pleased with our entire experience at Auburn Family Optometry. Dr. Allgeier assured us that if my wife or I have any further issues with our glasses, he will be there for us.
