AAhh Steve… Great job! Just moved to the area and had to depend on Unilocal to locate a great cut. Well, I found the shop! Auburn Barber Shop. Steve cut my hair, and is the best cut I have gotten in a long time. His staff are very warm, fun and very courteous!
Will be back for next cut with Steve!

AVOID THE NEW HIRE!
Steve, the owner, is FABULOUS. MY HUBBY ALWAYS has gotten a great cut from him as well as his two other employees.
He came home tonight and his hair was all chopped up and uneven. His sideburns weren’t cut at the same angle and the hair on one side on his head was chopped VERY short and the other not so much. I had to go through and fix it and luckily I was able to. That should NOT be the case since my training is from watching my hairdresser and trimming my bangs. But I was able to fix it and did a better job than she.
Honestly go just wait for anyone else. This is a really quality establishment

My husband and two boys have been getting their hair cut here for about 3 years now. After moving to Auburn it took us a while to find a barber shop that actually listened. We love this place. No more fixing the hair cuts when they get home!

This is a true American Barber Shop. Three chairs, three very talented barbers that know how to cut hair the right way without all the salon frills. There is a wall full of aircraft pictures and old time barber memorabilia. Customers that arrive are friendly and great to converse with. If you want a real good haircut this is the place.

I started looking for a proper barber shop after a terrible experience at a chain salon. Found out about Auburn Barber Shop through a coworker and decide to give it a shot. Honestly, best freaking hair cut I have ever had. I am so used to asking for a cut, and having someone pull out some clippers and buzzzz. But the only time clippers were used here was to clean up around the ears and back of the neck. Awesome shop, will definitely go back.

I have returned about four times since my first visit in April. The shop is aobut 80 miles from my home. Steve (the owner) used to be in the first chair, now he is in the last chair. The cuts have all been the BEST. Steve listens to my request, which has changed as the seasons have changed. I leave with another GREAT cut.
I will be returning in September for my next cut.
