Just moved to the area and scheduled an appointment with Vicki. She did an awesome job with my cut & color. Super friendly and easy to talk to. Love that I can schedule appointments online too

They changed my stylist at the last second, which was okay since i had not had a preference, but still not pleasant. I told them many times I was in to have my hair cut to be donated, so we cut it into pony tails. The stylist was really nice and knowledgeable, and my hair looked really nice after.
Why only 3 stars? Because what they failed to tell me about til after the hair cut was that there was a $ 10 upcharge for people with long, thick hair! If you do your math you’ll find that this is roughly a 30% mark up on the $ 35 I thought it was. I also had to up the tip to match 15%. Besides… whoever heard of an additional charge for long/​thick hair?!
Normally when you donate your hair (this isn’t my first rodeo), the salon gives you a discount or cuts your hair for free. While I wasn’t necessarily expecting a free hair cut, I wasn’t expecting it to cost nearly that much. They also failed to apply the student discount. I am an OU student and their website advertises a 10% discount to OU students. I remembered to mention that but it was never applied.
It was a good hair cut and an enjoyable experience. However, I’ve had similar experiences for less money in the area.

So, I needed a haircut badly. I’ve heard good things about this place, but had never been here before, and after being in a pinch when I found out my other salon closed, I called here and begged for an appointment.
For starters, they have a Unilocal check in deal for 10% off any service over $ 22. That was enough to get me in the door, on top of the fact that they were able to squeeze me in on a Saturday afternoon at the last minute.
I went with a deep conditioning treatment, a wash and a cut. I was really pleased with how my hair came out, and would gladly return in the future. After discount, it was a grand total of $ 44. They also offer mani’s and Pedi’s here, but I wasn’t looking for one today, just my hair.
The salon is clean, the staff is super friendly and I was in and out in no time. Prices are pretty typical for a salon, but not to high priced. Vicki was the gal who cut my hair, and she was super cool and did an awesome job. Will gladly return in the future, and thank you Salon 35!

I recently moved here from another state, sadly leaving my hair stylist of 10 years behind. As I wear my hair short it’s all about the cut. My daughter suggested Unilocal as a good source where I found Salon 35 and it had 4 ½ stars so I anxiously gave them a call. Receptionist was warm, friendly and understood my apprehension. My stylist’s name is Olivia. She listened to me while running her fingers through my hair then did it her way, and it is one of the best cuts I’ve ever had. It’s perfect, better than ever. Olivia has definitely my new stylist, already made my next appointment. I can’t say enough about her and Salon 35.

I had just got my hair done yesterday at my normal place which I had been going to for years, and I always love the way she does it. However, this was the first time she had colored my hair… and it came out blonde! When it was all said and done, it didn’t come out horrible… but I was less then pleased.
So today I go to the salon down the street asking if they can fix the mess that was created, and to my surprise my new highlights turned out beautiful! The girl I had did a fabulous job, and I will definitely return in the future!

I had my hair and makeup done here for my cousin’s wedding and Naomi & Vicki did an excellent job! I first had my makeup done with Vicki and was very pleased. I had her use shades of purple on my eyes to complement my maid of honor dress and she ended up making my eyes look dramatic but not overly so. And my makeup looked great in pictures!
Naomi and another stylist starting off tending to my cousin’s and another bridesmaid’s hair. But as other clients started to trickle in, Naomi ended up being the one to do most of our updos. Updos are her specialty and it was very obvious! I showed her a picture of what I wanted when it was my turn and I was very happy with the end result, based on how thick my hair is and how well it held up throughout the day (through the wedding, all the moving around, setting up for the reception, taking pictures, the hot and humid weather, and dancing all night long — from about 11AM until 2−3AM.)
I would absolutely recommend these ladies for your wedding beauty prep!
