Fantastic food and quick service! This is a new place and they serve breakfast!!! The staff is very friendly and attentive. I will be coming back. This place was renamed Starwood Café. Same owners.

Had a great breakfast at lunchtime. The chorizo omelet was really good, and the salsa was perfect. The hash browns were a tad on the greasy side. Service was great. Iced tea was spot-on and the prices were fair. Kids loved the chocolate pancakes and strawberry waffle. The strawberries were nice and fresh too.

My family and I have been here twice so far. Both times we were very pleased with the experience. The first time I got one of the skillets. The one with the sausage, not the one with the bacon. I cant remember if its the Country or Farmer. Anyway the meal was great. The hash-browns could have been seasoned a tad more, but a single shake from the salt shaker made it spot on perfect. The second time I got the country fried steak breakfast. The steak was seasoned perfectly, the hash-browns were the same as before a tad under-seasoned. I am glad that the owners decided to open a good Breakfast joint. I’m one of those people that like to eat«Breakfast Foods» at anytime of the day. I wish they would stay open a little later so that I could get my breakfast at suppertime. If they can get the seasoning right on their hash-browns then I would have no reason not to give them 5 stars. I really like this place for its food as well as its location.

A friend and I have breakfast/brunch together every Friday and we decided to give this place a try. This was our first and last trip here. I ordered biscuits and gravy and I really think it was a powder mix. Did not taste fresh or homemade. And the biscuits were mushy on the inside. I sent it back and ordered a safe club sandwich. It was mediocre at best. The meat and cheeses were tasteless. The fries were crispy and yummy though! The server was very sweet and helpful which is the only saving grace. Oh and the décor is kinda cute.

Love this place. I work down the road and after a while a lot of the restaurants in this area get old after a while. This place has a great all meat skillet and BLT. I am unsure of the other items on the menu because these two things are so good that I only get them when I go in. I am excited to have a new place to go where service is great and friendly. The staff is always happy and fast. The décor is so cute and cozy! They also participate in local events, like the trunk or treat for Paloma Creek. I think it’s great for businesses to be involved in local activities. Definitely give this place a chance and if you don’t like it I am sure they would be happy to make things right.

Just had one of my favorites: Liver and onions with brown gravy and jalapeños on top. My sides were mashed potatoes and gravy and corn. It was delicious!

My husband and I visited during their Grand Opening. They were offering free pancakes and coffee, so we thought we’d give it a try. After viewing the menu, we decided to order a full meal(I’m glad we did). The food was good… It all came out exactly as ordered and hot. The hash browns were a little mushy and the pancakes were chewy but other than that the food was great. As far as the coffee went, it was the typical breakfast diner coffee. I wish these places would offer a «bold» coffee for those of us who like Starbucks(like a good French Roast)… I would even be willing to pay a bit extra. The prices were good for what you get. The service was good and our waitress was very pleasant. I think we will be going back soon to try out their lunch.

My husband and I live in the area and have been in 3 separate times. 2 at lunch time and 1 for breakfast. The first time was arournd lunch but we ordered breakfast. I got an egg white veggie omelet with a side of fruit(it was over $ 10). My husband ordered bluberry pancakes and they had no blueberry in them, just some blueberry pie filling on top of them. They came with nothing else, so he had to order bacon(which was $ 3) and it was 3 little sloces of bacon(looked like the super cheap stuff). Our meal was over $ 22 and we both had water. The next time was on a Sunday morning and we had to wait to be seated when clearly there were open tables. I overheard someone ask and they were told that the kictchen was backed up. Well sit people and explain and give them coffee and a table to sit at at least. We both ordered breakfast again with the same scenario, except he ordered crepes. They left a little to be desired. Again another expensive breakfast(for the amount and quality of the food). Today was the third and final time for a while. We went in for lunch and had the lunch special and my husband had coffee and I had water. The bill was over $ 30! YIKES!(for the special). We both got chopeed steak and it was SUPER greasy. My husband ordered mixed vegetables and they were mixed vegetables straight from a can! Disappointing for the prices for sure! I think we would go back if it wasn’t so expensive. We would rather drive a little to Denton or to Frisco to get better food for the money we pay. It really stinks because this is right across the street from our house and we are HUGE breakfast eaters

I had the biscuit and gravy with sausage and two eggs over medium. $ 6.99 The sausage was not the kinda of sausage I would think would go with good old fashion biscuits and gravy. The sausage had a gourmet taste & texture but it did sit right for me. Didn’t have much flavor and it was white in color flatted out like a cracker. Strange looking for all the sausages I’ve seen in my 34 year old life. Biscuit and gravy and eggs were just right. But when I think of the price for the meal it fit the meal. Other items on the menu was much more expensive and I’ll would give it a try if I was in the neighborhood. Atmosphere was very clean and new. Staff was friendly and food was brought out fairly quick. 3 stars only cause breakfast meat should have been lively and flavorful. I wish I could give 3 ½ stars. I’m sure this place would only get better and since they are so friendly I bet they’ll reach closer to the demands of the customers. Give this place a try.

I live in the area and was ecstatic when I saw the signs for this place. We are in desperate need of a good breakfast joint because Frontier House just isn’t cutting it. That being said — I have now visited this place 3 total times. Once for breakfast and twice for lunch. I want nothing more than this place to improve and survive because we need it, but I hope management /owners read this review so that they can make much needed improvements. Décor: Outstanding. This is a beautifully designed /decorated diner. Staff: The 3x we have been — the waitress and waiter(though he was put out on the floor day 2 and was clueless and I later returned to see he is somewhat of a host — though the woman who appears to be the owner doesn’t even let him cash people out. She is more of his whipping boy.) Food: read below for details but highlights are: BREAKFAST: No thanks, won’t be back until they use something fresh. LUNCH: Ok, but overpriced and most things are out of a can, not fresh. Let’s start with breakfast: I ordered the«Berry ‘Ola Crepes at 8.99(I am used to ordering fruit pan crepes at Café Brazil where you get thin crepes that have fresh fruit and a raspberry and cream drizzle and they are delicious priced at 7.99.) The crepes you get from Cozy Corner are nothing in comparison. The crêpe was so thick it might as well have been a pancake. All of the berries came from a can and were so sweet and syrupy I ended up taking 3 bites and just trashing the rest. Canned berries is a no no in my book for something you charge more than places that give you fresh! My husband ordered corned beef hash and eggs(8.99). We specifically asked how the corned beef was in advance because we like the meat to be real, not canned. We were assured it was fresh. It was not… clearly also out of a can. The Londoner off tollway and main does brunch on the weekends and if you want real meat — they have the best corned beef. He also had a pancake that tasted like it was fresh from a box mix with nothing added. I make better pancakes at home for less. It was super disappointing and unless some changes are made to bring in something fresh and flavorful — we will not come back for breakfast. Frontier house is even better than that. I suggest the owners go to a place like«Old West Café» to see what great food is! They could learn a lot. This weekend we drove all the way to Sanger to eat there just to get a good breakfast. Now, on to lunch as we decided to try that as well because after all, this is a neighborhood place. The first visit, I ordered a chicken salad on a croissant and they forgot my fries. The sandwich was good, but the chicken is clearly from a can. The salad dressings they serve are all pre-made and not good. Raspberry is too sweet and ranch is that nasty hidden valley out of a plastic bottle — buttermilk is not that hard to make fresh! Chicken fried steak is ok, mashed taters are ok… The place has a lot of work to do to become something great — but there is potential if they just listen to their customers and adjust. Right now, people are coming because it is so close. Not because of the quality.

The breakfast was just ok. I had two eggs scrambled and the sausage patties with hash browns. I also tried the biscuits and gray. The gravy was a typical powder mix gravy. Not bad just not real good either. The eggs were cooked perfectly. I don’t like little pellets for eggs. These were soft. The sausage was ok. again nothing exciting. The hash browns were great. — nice and crispy. I tried my son’s pancakes. They were rubbery but the syrup was good. Just an average experience for me. 3 stars.

Ate take out twice from here and can say Im stoked that a good eating place has popped up. First time tried the chicken fried chicken with potatoes and fries(yes, I know two starches) and fell in love. The breading was crisp and the gravy was yummy. Potatoes were fluffy and fries were good. The next time my husband ordered the same thing and I tried chicken strips. The strips, were so skinny and small! I was shocked. But they had a lovely taste to them. For the price, I expected either more than the 4 I received or fatter portions. Im not sure I would be getting those again. I still have the breakfast menu to try out so Im excited. Oh! Can I Please request that you guys stay open later!!! Because unless Im off for the day, I never get to you in time before closing.

Great atmosphere and friendly staff! The menu contains traditional breakfast and brunch items as well as some surprises. The hollandaise sauce is the best in town and the sausage gravy keeps you coming back for more. The breakfast skillets aren’t really served in skillets but are tasty nonetheless. Excellent coffee served nice and hot and the eggs are always cooked perfectly. The constant roll of rock and roll oldies over the sound system makes the morning pass by pleasantly. Give it a shot. You won’t regret it and you’ll be counting the days til you can return. Ask for Chloe, she’ll take good care of you!

I was seated promptly. My order was taken. I waited about 5 min for my breakfast. Which btw was impressive. I ordered the western omelette and I asked to have fruit instead of pancakes. She said sure thing. Now when I got my bill. I noticed that they charged me close to $ 4.00 for the fruit. I did ask the waitress about this, since I didn’t have the pancakes. She just said she had to do it. First, here are my issues with this. Please tell the customer that there is an extra charge. Needless to say, I just can’t justify spending over 16 for an omelette, coffee, and fruit. This will most likely be my last visit to this restaurant.

I went here for the first time today at the suggestion of a friend and I was glad I did. I had the chicken fried steak and it was great. The crust was not adhering to the meat as well as I would have liked but it was still very good. The gravy tasted homemade and the mashed potatoes were first rate. The mashed potatoes were excellent as well. I am sure I will be back.

Located in the spot vacated by Joey’s Ristorante. They just opened Sep 29 and are currently in a opening. Grand opening coming soon(check the FB page). Food was good — spouse and I had hamburgers. They are 1⁄3 pound and options for something like 5 different burgers. Cheeseburger is 7.49 and comes w fries or homemade soup of the day. Mushroom and Swiss burger is 7.99 w fries or soup. As I wrote, all in all good food although the opinion of this burger hound is they are overpriced across the board(we looked at the breakfast items/prices, too). I think their prices are reflective of the market in that competition in the immediate area is similarly priced. That doesn’t mean everyone is priced right — just means they are all taking advantage of the limited availability of restaurant options in the 380 corridor. All in all I’ll say how them a try and help get them on track for a grand opening. Optimistic they will survive. We will return and try breakfasts but probably stick with Cotton Gin or Kathy’s Kitchen as more regular haunts. Both are further but provide better values.

This café opened last Monday and the wife and I stopped in for breakfast this morning. We enjoyed the food and will be back. Some confusion on what server had our table, but that can be expected at a place only open 5 days with new servers. Homestyle food, maybe a step up from what you would find at IHOP, but not on the same level as you might find at a true family owned ‘country/home style’ restaurant. It is in a happy compromise between these different types of breakfast/lunch formats. We will be back to try other offerings… we hope the best for this place as this area has sorely needed such a food option.
