Tony’s used to get 5 stars from me, unfortunately the last 3 deliveries have been less than par. The pizzas have been undercooked even though I have asked for well done eveytime. This time in paticular the middle of the pie was so thin and undercooked that I was unable to even have a whole slice. On the positive side the salad was good and eveytime I’ve actually visited the store the slices have been fine.

Best f-ing place I have ever found on Unilocal.House pizza was spicy but some of the best pizza I have ever had. We were in town 3 nights, and ordered from this place 2 of them – with no regrets. My husband is from NJ and I am not, but I have out jerseyed him by finding this place.

A bit pricey for what I’m used to, but it was delicious and packed with flavor. I had the Shoobie Hot Sub(chicken, bacon, ranch and cheese) and was thoroughly satisfied.

Stopped in again last week when I was in town for the holidays visiting family. I had the Bad Leroy cheesesteak for the first time and it was amazing. I’ve never had a pizza or sub here that disappointed. If I had one suggestion it would be for them to move and expand. I understand the nostalgia(or trying to create it) but I think his business would prosper if under the right settings.

I’m from the Philly area, travelled most of Latin America, and have tried every twist on the cheesesteak. This place is legit! The Mexican twist(Oaxaca cheese, cilantro, etc) works deliciously. They do Indian flavors too. Basically, the cheesesteak & pizza got a passport. Everyone knows that bread is critical to true Philly style. No Amoroso’s here. The roll was like a ciabatta but way better. It held the wetness together perfectly. If you don’t like international flavors, go somewhere else for pizza & steaks. I get what they do and will make this a regular AC stop. On this first visit.

This was my first time eating here and it was very good! I’ve been hearing a lot about it recently and the Olé was suggested to me. Can’t believe that all the years I’ve been to ac, partied in ac, lived in ac, I’ve never heard of this! There’s a nice selection of cheesesteaks, so I’ll definitely be back to try more. Location looked kind of sketchy but it didn’t bother me much. Like I said, I’ve been in ac for many years. I think to a tourist, it would scare them a little lol.

After hearing so much hype around Tony Boloney’s I was excited to go have some pizza and cheesesteak while being down at the beach. We found the location which was in a random block, but not too far from the casinos. It is also BYOB, so we brought a few beers to enjoy as well. We ordered a half plain, half pepperoni pizza. I liked that the dough was on the thinner side, great sauce flavor and a decent size. Nothing really blew my mind about the pizza, it was a decent slice. We also ordered a cheesesteak with american cheese and onions, figuring if we kept it simple we could get good flavor. Well, they messed up our order and didn’t bring it out for quite some time, and then brought us someone else’s(which had lettuce and tomato and was great). Needless to say, by the time the original came, we were uninterested and it was just meh. Overall, I don’t think this place is worth the drive to the middle of nowhere to get some cheesesteak and pizza you could get on the the boardwalk. It’s not terrible, it was just middle of the road.

BIG fan of the cheese steaks here. Pizza is also pretty good. Location is horrible especially now. Revel & Showboat are both closed so this area is DEAD now as well as ghetto. Still worth the trip for the food tho.

Came in to order lunch. 2 subs. 1 wrap $ 36.00. One of the subs rolls were molded. I called them and they said«Are you sure? our bread is baked fresh»…And then made it seem like there’s nothing they can do. Took it back to them and they spoke to their cooks who spoke in Spanish, so I couldn’t understand. She came back and said«it’s not mold, it’s just color from the bread». Why would you serve it still? Whether it’s not mold or discoloration. It’s not appetizing. I got a refund for the sandwich. I got the wrap which was chicken crab killer or something of that sort. Crabmeat, grilled chicken, cheese, parsley, Cajun seasoning. It tasted like loads of butter. Barely any crabmeat. Over cooked chicken. 12.50 for this wrap. I’m super disappointed with Tony Boloneys today. I always root for them. Today will be my last day eating from here.

OBSESSED!!! I’ve been hearing so many things about this place and we finally stopped by before a night out in AC. The staff was very friendly, they noticed my boyfriend and I were still looking at the menus and gave us some suggestions. I got a slice of their popular pie, Olé and a Cobb salad. Both were delicious and very well made. I really enjoy a good salad because some places just can’t get it right. They were generous with the toppings especially the chicken and bacon so that made me happy. The slice of Olé was delicious. The boyfriend got a small Cool Philly. It had cheesesteak, mac and cheese, siracha sauce wiz, and cool ranch Doritos. He loved it!!! All the toppings were evenly distributed and I even got to try a slice, it was very good. We cannot wait to go back and try more!

Sorry guys but waiting 25 minutes for one sandwich. One sandwich! There were only 3 other two person orders the whole time we waited. I suspect you may have had a large delivery or pick up order at the time but the simple and polite solution would be to tell customers of the impending wait time. Paramedic team near us left without one of there sandwiches because they ran out of time. Bad form. Bad manners. In the end, the sandwich was good; not great. We won’t return.

I’m in Atlantic City for a tradeshow and my colleague told me how excited he was to get here from Toronto so we can go to Tony Boloneys every. Single. Day. After feasting on the savoury, inspired fare, I now understand. We saw someone at the tradeshow carrying a Tony Boloneys blue pizza box and just pointed at it, to which the pizza carriers just laughed and shook their head. That’s how glorious this place is. I tried the Cheese steak olé after seeing the shimmer in my coworkers eyes as he ordered one. The subs are stuffed to the brim with fresh ingredients and they stick a fork in it anticipating your journey with the sandwhich. The decadence and creativeness with the dishes is remarkable. I’m actually glad I don’t live in AC because I would eat here every day and probably cripple my health and arteries with the home made cheeses, sauces and savoury bits. The Boken Boy sub is perfection. I have yet to try the smothered fries but I have no doubt they will be equally glorious. Every slice of pizza I tried, including the Brooklyn and«shitfaced» and some other ones, was superb. The crust is so well cooked. It reminds me of Pizza Hut if it wasn’t dripping oil. On top of that, the staff are super friendly, helpful and cool. What more could you want from a place? You could close your eyes and point to any item on the menu and probably love it. Oh and it’s by the ocean, so you can walk to the waves crashing along the shore and contemplate just how f**king good that food was.

I googled this place before I came to AC. I heard about the Olé Sandwich. I finally got to try it on Thu(05÷14÷15). How did this Sandwich win an award for best cheesesteak. It was very runny, it was like they poured a can of chili into a sub. The Olé sandwich was nasty. I had asked the waitress for order of ff and she told me to order the one with ranch and mozz cheese on top of it. Again nothing crazy, its not like they were fresh cut fries, they were previously frozen. I also wish she would have told me the French fries were $ 6.75. Also the cook was rubbing the cashiers shoulders, very inappropriate. I will give this place another try next time I’m in AC, they have some unique pizza’s.

I’ve been loving on the Hoboken Tony Baloney’s since they opened a while back, but last week’s Winter Break III was a good chance to visit the original. My friends and I debated for at least an hour on where to eat until I made an executive decision to come here. Two of us took advantage of the Unilocal Check-in for a free slice with a cheesesteak olé. I got steak, friend got chicken, and we went halvsies. The slice and the sammies were all great. Friends got other subs and fries. Happiness all around. The shop is unassuming and far from fancy but there was a steady stream of people and I’d imagine it gets packed during the summer. My lovely friend Nile enjoyed it so much she discussed getting one of the fab and unique pies to take home to Philly. Expansion opportunity, TB’s?

Tony’s was the unexpected gem of my Atlantic City trip. My brother had mentioned interest in a cheesesteak place for lunch but offered me the more«new school» choice being Tony’s which wound up to be way more vegetarian friendly than just a slice of pizza and speaking of the pizza — Really delicious. The cheese was melted all the way to the top giving the crust that awesome cheesy-crunchy-awesomeness. Would definitely recommend the Unilocal check-in deal for a cheesesteak + slice of pizza. We also got an order of chili-cheese fries which was subpar compared to the rest of our meal. After inhaling the slice of pizza my ravenous appetite subsided and I found them to be pretty soggy. Now, on to the famous Olé cheesesteak… Don’t pass this up. Options available for all palates(vegan & vegetarian) Maybe gluten free, too? I can’t remember 100% Insanely delicious but I couldn’t help but notice it tastes exactly like Taco Bell’s seasonings. I had to ask everyone at my table if they noticed this too and we all agreed: Yes, in fact it did taste exactly like Taco Bell but guess what? It was freakin’ gooood. Another hoagie we ordered was the vegetarian Hudson. Roasted cauliflower, Harissa, chimmichuri sauce, arugula and Havarti cheese.(I asked to hold the raisins. My brother said it would have elevated the flavour but I’m not that into raisins personally.) Would absolutely recommend that, too. Tony Baloney’s will leave all belly’s happy.

This place is a bit of a trek through sketch-ville and a long walk from the remaining(RIP Revel & Showboat) boardwalk hotels/casinos so you may want drive or take a cab. They have a large menu but if you want slices of pizza rather than a whole, they have 4 – 5 options at a time. I wasn’t a fan of their«olé» cheesesteak pizza, it has this nasty mayo-based sauce doused inside the pizza. I hate anything mayo-based and recommend you pass on this pizza. Besides, who puts mayo on a cheesesteak? After realizing my mistake, I ordered a slice of their cheese pizza which was quite tasty. It has fresh cheese, a sauce with lots of flavor, and fresh basil. Overall, the place is a bit overpriced but the pizza is tasty so I’d come back. Just avoid the olé pizza if you hate mayo and you’ll be fine!
