Went last night around 10 when Loop Band was playing and they were amazing. They covered all the oldies and then went into Ludacris and Biggie later on. I’ve never seen a cover band with their selection but I loved it. Tangos had comfy seating and two entrances so it keeps the flow of traffic moving. This place is good for dancing with a mix of people but it does tend to have a more older crowd(They need to party too) I took off one star because I had a $ 10 margarita which was worse than the one on the casino floor. It was probably a concoction of too much cheap disgusting margarita mix. The bartender tried to fix it with orange juice but there was no fixing it at that point. I don’t understand why you can’t make a good margarita Tangos. I would stick to bottled beers next time since the bartenders can’t mess that up

Racist bartender named Bill! My wife asked for a glass of water and his response was there is a water fountain around the corner. Someone else had to ask for the water in order to get it. The night only got worse from there I was there for my friend’s wedding after party.

Ok Tango, there you go! Tango was poppin! Nice, quaint bar in Tropicana. It definently was crowded to say the least. $ 5 cover charge to ger in wasnt to bad. Lot of couples, single ladies, fellas in the spot so good balance of tester one and estrogen. Music was on point going old school and new. So, I couldn’t be mad at that.

Tangos is poppin… If you are over 35. It caters to an older crowd typically featuring a cover band. The drinks are $ 12 and tiny. On weekends they charge $ 5 cover which is annoying. They rob you to have an overpriced drink with grandpa.

Went with a group on a Friday night to celebrate my cousin’s fiancé’ bachelorette party. The cover charge was $ 5. The drinks were overpriced, under poured and just plain gross. Seriously, who doesn’t know how to make a margarita?! I ended up taking a few shots of patron to help turn things up. The DJ played a mix of old and new hip-hop, pop and Latin music. He even shouted out the Bride to be which was very nice of him. Probably won’t come here again but we still had a great time.

I like Tango’s. Live music and $ 5 for a plastic cup of tap beer. You can watch people walk in and out of the casino and it attracts a good crowd. It’s really nothing to write home about, so if you’re reading this… it’s really just a bar… that is blocked off by a fence, but it gets the job done.

My favorite place at Tropicana to have drinks, relax, and see a band. We usually spend our time at the bar and have a nice view of the traffic in the casino. They have a lounge area with comfy couches and tables for more of a personable experience. The drinks are affordable and take advantage of their happy hour. We usually hang out during the late afternoons, that’s when the crowd is manageable and tolerable. However, on Friday nights into the weekends, it gets really noisy and it’s popping if you are into that kind of bar scene. Tropicana has some great bars, but this is my favorite considering its within the center of everything if your staying at the Havana Tower and plan on having dinner at some of the popular restaurants. Lots of fun, excitement, and affordable prices.

Probably the best place in AC to grab a drink, listen to some good music, and best of all… people watch! Drinks are good and the wait staff is always friendly.

My last night in AC was great. Whenever I go to AC I always stay at the TROP. I love this hotel because I never have to leave to have fun. Last night I decided to visit Tango’s and quite honestly I’m glad that I did. First off they had live music, which was great, it drew me in. The singer was great, and it seemed as everyone was having a good time, so I gave it a shot. It’s a nice size bar, it wasn’t too overcrowded but there was no seats at the bar. I waited for a few mins and then a seat became available. I immediately was greeted by the bartender. I didn’t order a fancy drink, just wine and it was good lol. The bartender and patrons were all friendly. Everyone there was truly enjoying themselves. As I mentioned I always stay at the TROP, however this was my first time in TANGOS. If you’re looking for a good time, drinks and music I would definitely recommend this place!

I liked the place. Good drinks, centrally located by the fountain so very easy to find. But the live entertainment was sooo loud that it made drinking here unbearable. And to add to this the lady running the show singing thru her karaōke machine was unbearable to listen to. I myself prefer live singers and entertainers over just music in the background and one always gives room before judging due to what they have to work with. But this lady was just off — on all levels. Plus the casino smoking section is right next to Tango’s so you’re hit with all that beautiful smoke in the air. Real nice. Seriously the entertainment was waaaaay too loud and not very entertaining. Next time, we’ll pass.

Whenever I’m in AC, I love going to this place. Right in the center of everything in Tropicana. Lovely ambience, nice bartenders and great drink prices. This place seems to always be lively and always makes me feel like dancing. :-)

Nice small bar on the walk thru of tropicana casino. Rather small but nice setup. They sometimes feature a singer or band in the evenings. One of my favorite spots in the trop as well as a few others. If your in the casino check it out.

$ 2 draft beers, $ 4 wine after 4pm. We were here at 3:15PM and paid $ 5.50 for draft beer and $ 10 for a vodka shot. So if you want cheap drinks come here at 4pm and no sooner ;) The service is good. The late night crowd is kinda ratchety, comprised of south jersey, Philly Eagles fans, and Camden folks. You get the drift.

Went once with my boyfriend and last week with friends. Great prices on drinks and definitely not watered down. I went both times on a Fri night and it usually gets packed between 9−1am. Last thur night they had a band playing some good tunes. They have tables and chairs all around. You don’t have to pay for bottle service in order to sit which is great. No dress code so that’s a plus of you want to just sit and listen to music. It was a great time and worth coming in.

I came here late on a Friday night and the music was great. There is no cover and the drinks are reasonable. People come here to sit and enjoy themselves or to dance. I love that there was a mix of music and people. Great place if you are looking for a place to hang out without having to dress up.

Went on a Monday night and then again tonight for the same band. Music was unbelievable. Server did a great job. Drinks were big and fairly price. Would go out of my way to come here again.

This spot played a great mix of reggaeton, salsa, reggae, hip hop and so much more! The cover charge was $ 15 and the drinks are a little pricey, but that’s expected being that it’s in the Tropicana of Atlantic City! Great spot!

Came here for a bachelorette party staying at the trop. We originally were going to go to boogies, but a freak blackout put boogies out of commission. Tangos did a great job pinch hitting! They played so much funk and disco and old school fun dance music. We danced for hours. A warning to the ladies, though: some of the gentlemen guests aren’t familiar with the term«personal space.» So be on your guard. Some of the men were very sweet, but some were kind of disgusting chauvinists. That doesn’t reflect on tangos, but it’s something to know about the ecosystem of ac nightlife. If you’re firm and slightly disdainful, they’ll leave you alone. But overall two thumbs up to tangos!

Fun, fun, fun! And so much better than paying a cover to one of the clubs at the hotel. We came here after attempting to pay to get into Boogie Nights– $ 15 and empty inside… I think not. You’ll hear the music from this lounge as you are passing by. It’s hip, it makes you want to dance and it’s a cool mix of all types of people. The drinks are casino prices and they don’t exactly have a dance area, but if you are there for a bachelorette party like my friends and I and many others that make the trek to AC, you’ll find the space to dance. My only major disappointment was the time that they shut the party down… I mean this is a 24 hour casino, why is the party shutting down so early. Oh well, we ended up hopping into a cab to Harrah’s where they know how to keep a late night party going.

After some fun playing slots, we met up with friends at Tango’s. This place is hilariously tacky. It boasts a DJ — and the DJ didn’t suck, kept things going well — but have almost no space to dance. As it was about midnight, perhaps later, EVERYONE wanted to dance. This made things a bit tricky. We had fun, though!
