Nice pub inside the Claridge Hotel, my only reason for giving it three stars instead of four or five is because of one epic failure when making really good martini’s. The olives were the WORST I ever had! The bartender, Jerry was veyr personable and friendly; he made all the difference in our stay there, but he should have looked at those olives and tried one because they were inedible. There are tables situated in the lounge if you would rather not sit at the bar. Very nice place and nice vibe to have a good drink except for the OLIVES in he martini!

If you want to go someplace and feel like you are in Atlantic City circa 1920, this is the place to go. Think old school, hotel lobby lounge not trendy Vegas club type of lounge. The lounge has an Empire Boardwalk vibe and according to our awesome server, Bridget, it used to be part of the casino floor. The happy hour is pretty sweet. It is Friday– Sunday from 1 – 3 and again from 3 – 6. On Monday it’s also from 6−10pm. I had a nice pour of Pinot noir and my mom had a glass of Cabernet. There was a decent variety of options for happy hour– i.e. not just one red or white option. There’s a TV at the bar and you can take your drink to go. No food is served. The Claridge is connected to Bally’s so during the winter months it’s easily accessible from Bally’s and Caesars. Of course in the summer, it’s easily accessible from the boardwalk. Malcolm’s is a great new addition to my AC repertoire.
